Hi,
This is my first post, this is my problem hope somebody can help me... some days ago I tried to root my phone (GT-i9500 MTK6572) using some auto-rooting tools, but after that one section of the screen of my phones was working not property. I made factory reset and the problem persist, then this week I tried some calibration .apk but they did not do anything to the phone. I am adding the video of the behavior of the issue. In this video you can see if you try to draw a straight line in the screen with your finger, in the bottom section of the screen the line is deformed simulating a curve.
Thanks for your help

I've searched through the threads and do not see anyone with this issue, but would like to see if anyone is experiencing this -- I have had the One for about 3 weeks now and don't do a lot of recording. Now that I have tried to use the recording function, it isn't working. No issues with the camera, but have only successfully been able to get the video to work about 4 times. Tried rebooting -- no change. Was on 33R and just updated to 38R. Video immediately worked three times in a row. Tried to record again about a half hour later and not working again. Anyone else experiencing this issue or have any suggestions? Thank you.
Check if you have time lapse mode activated. I made the same mistake once.

Thank you for the quick response. Just checked and that setting is set to "Off." When I push the video button it clicks like it is taking a photo, but nothing happens. I did look at the files and they come up as "temp" files. Not a video or a picture. Any other thoughts/suggestions? I have posted this on the OnePlus One Technically forum and have received zero responses. I searched their forum and do not see anyone with this particular issue. I did send in a request for assistance with the company, however that will probably be several weeks for a response. Just trying any other places that I thought might have something I could try in the meantime. Thanks again.
Hi,
Is there already a thread for OnePlus One screen responsiveness issues running on 44S? I've had a look but haven't found any.
I'm experiencing screen issues:
Two separate taps are sometimes registered as a swipe
Sometimes a single tap is not detected (hard to reproduce, though)
I have made two videos in preparation for a warranty claim, but I want to see if there's anything I can do before having to send it in for a month. The first video is of me typing - not using swipe/glide gestures, only tapping normally. On several occasions it thinks I'm swiping, however.
Sorry! I really want to post links to my videos, but I'm a new user.
OnePlus have admitted that there is a problem, but I heard they completely fixed it with the 44S update. Could it be that there's still something wrong, or maybe I have defective hardware?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Good luck
Hi all,
Since a couple of days my OPO is doing crazy things on the display. Unfortunately I cannot post here any pics or video.
BUT you can find a video of my screen issue if you search for "OPO touchscreen error, lagged response, only showing piled fragments" on forumsDOToneplusDOTnet
It started out of nowhere, sometimes it goes back to normal and works flawless for some minutes only.
Issue: Touch responses are lagged, it's hard to impossible to navigate on the screen, the display changes constantly showing random fragments of the same piled up.
Has anyone seen something like this before?
Is it rather a hardware or a software issue?
Any suggestions of how to repair it?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I haven't tried reflashing, but will do if I don't hear of another solution.

Try that, then only we can confirm if that's sw or hw.
In several games like call of duty mobile, pubg, free fire etc when a touch input is applied to look around the screen shakes very badly for few second and then stops shaking. If I keep my finger touched the screen and continuously keep looking around, the screen keeps shaking also continuously. Take a look at the video for better understanding. I never have seen this problem before in any mobile phone. I would be really grateful if someone can tell me a way how to get rid of this bug/glitch.
My device: Oneplus 8
OS version : Oxygen os 11.0.4.4IN21AA
