[Q] Screen issue after flashing-Rooting MTK6572 Phone - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
This is my first post, this is my problem hope somebody can help me... some days ago I tried to root my phone (GT-i9500 MTK6572) using some auto-rooting tools, but after that one section of the screen of my phones was working not property. I made factory reset and the problem persist, then this week I tried some calibration .apk but they did not do anything to the phone. I am adding the video of the behavior of the issue. In this video you can see if you try to draw a straight line in the screen with your finger, in the bottom section of the screen the line is deformed simulating a curve.
Thanks for your help

Samsung Omnia (8G) alignment problem

Hi I am new here, I have alignment problem with my new Omnia (less that 2 weeks) Also put in the lastest Rom.... My align screen + keep back to center after the adjustment. Already try soft reset , problem still same. Anyone could help B4 i do hard set? Thanks in advance.
Solution for omnia align screen prob
found at my blog @ http://marve.lucianvision.com/?p=129
Right, I’ve just encounted the align screen problem with the omnia
I googled the problem and hard reset was the solution I found
Did that about twice and didnt work…
I went flashed back 21222 … that still had the same prob.. then flashed my previous firmware before i had winmo 6.5 which was “i900DXHK3″…. that still didnt work..
Some one on an omnia forum recommended i “change the panel”… I’m assuming they meant the screen or something, since that was one of the solutions I found from googling*
Removing the back cover of the omnia, there are 4 screws at each corner.. , lets say starting clockwise and top left, I losened screw1, removed screw2, loosened screw3, and removed screw4…. then tried aligning my screen… It went through at the first try!!
Dont know if this is a solution, but it sure bits buying a new screen! Could be just luck really, who knows
if this helps, please let me know..
Welcome to the forum
Perhaps you haven´t noticed but this is an HTC devices only forum
However there is a thread in off topic section regarding samsung
Good luck,

[Q] Question regarding screen problem in my phone.

Hi,
I have Karbonn titanium S5 phone and it has screen problem. I am posting picture here. Screen looks fine when I switch on my mobile for just 1 second and then immediately this problem occurs. I tried hard reset too.
Check pixels how they are scattered or shifted from positions. I have attached picture as an attachment.
EDIT: Screen is fine when it is locked for few seconds and after unlocking again problem occurs in almost 5 seconds. I have tried installing everything from Stock rom to custom rom but that didn't help. Any Help will be appreciated.

[Q] Video Function Not Working

I've searched through the threads and do not see anyone with this issue, but would like to see if anyone is experiencing this -- I have had the One for about 3 weeks now and don't do a lot of recording. Now that I have tried to use the recording function, it isn't working. No issues with the camera, but have only successfully been able to get the video to work about 4 times. Tried rebooting -- no change. Was on 33R and just updated to 38R. Video immediately worked three times in a row. Tried to record again about a half hour later and not working again. Anyone else experiencing this issue or have any suggestions? Thank you.
Check if you have time lapse mode activated. I made the same mistake once.

Thank you for the quick response. Just checked and that setting is set to "Off." When I push the video button it clicks like it is taking a photo, but nothing happens. I did look at the files and they come up as "temp" files. Not a video or a picture. Any other thoughts/suggestions? I have posted this on the OnePlus One Technically forum and have received zero responses. I searched their forum and do not see anyone with this particular issue. I did send in a request for assistance with the company, however that will probably be several weeks for a response. Just trying any other places that I thought might have something I could try in the meantime. Thanks again.

OPO touchscreen error, lagged response, only showing piled fragments

Hi all,
Since a couple of days my OPO is doing crazy things on the display. Unfortunately I cannot post here any pics or video.
BUT you can find a video of my screen issue if you search for "OPO touchscreen error, lagged response, only showing piled fragments" on forumsDOToneplusDOTnet
It started out of nowhere, sometimes it goes back to normal and works flawless for some minutes only.
Issue: Touch responses are lagged, it's hard to impossible to navigate on the screen, the display changes constantly showing random fragments of the same piled up.
Has anyone seen something like this before?
Is it rather a hardware or a software issue?
Any suggestions of how to repair it?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I haven't tried reflashing, but will do if I don't hear of another solution.
