International Shipping Options

Hi Folks,
I'd like to get couple of new HTC devices but Sellers send them to US Only.
Is there any Shippings Forwarding Services available for individuals? Is it possible to ask Seller to send the item to DHL or UPS Pickup Center and then ask DHL or UPS to forward this item to me?
Or what are the other ways to get items from outside the country?

Just I notice they don't have any contact information apart from online messaging.
No phone number, No address, No company VAT reg nothing.
I would be cautious with websites like that.

i had purchased a screen protector from them and received my goods in excellent condition!
however if you don't feel comfortable using them then go to other retailers

Thought so, thats actually worst than buying from an individual seller on somewhere like amazon or play as this one has no contactable phone number, address, and no VAT reg.

Please don't purchase from this website. I've purchase an Otterbox case for my phone when I was being told the item was posted out on 7th Jan. Up to today 18th Jan, I have yet to receive my item. Really regret purchasing from them

I would contact your bank to let them know and get your credit card number cancelled and issued with a new one so that person doesn't have it.
I thought it looked dodgy, no VAT reg showing that would be one to inform HM customs about with the information about the person as shown above as not being vat registered is obviously highly illegal as well and they will do him for it.
Good retailers I can recommend in the UK are such as the obvious play.com and amazon.co.uk and mobile specific being mobilefun.co.uk and expansys.co.uk which you will never have any problems with, best to stick with them.

Not being VAT registered is not illegal. You only need to be, if you turn over £70,000 a year.

Yeah your right a site like that wont be turning over much and hopefully not turning anyone over.
You would expect a decent reputable retailer to have all the basic contact and address info up already and not use use messaging as the only means of communication.

But I purchase it using my debit card instead. Didn't really want to give out my credit card details.

Htcdirect are fine. They also have a shop in London called inkino.co.uk I purchased my old Htc hd from them with no issues.

[Q] Best Buy - If you ordered from them did it ship?

It has become too difficult to navigate the US availability thread with the frequent new posts and discussion on several different stores. I was wondering how many people ordered from Best Buy and for those who did maybe answer a few questions to see where we all stand. When I ordered everything looked good but like many I was emailed about six hours later saying it was on backorder. If we could start a thread with the following basic questions answered I think it would be helpful to see where we (those who haven't received our order) stand.

Ordered as soon as it became available. Happened to wake up and check forum. Shipping notice yesterday with delivery to home on 5/2.

Ordered on the 26th @ 630am with ship to store w/in 3 to 5 days. My order says "in process" when I check the status it says "checking in store inventory" for the past 2 days. I called BBY and the said it will be at the store by 5/11. I live in WI, but I say some people on the west coasts already arrive at the store. The stores in my area get shipments Tues. and Fri. so hopefully it will arrive before the 11th.

ordered 3:15 AM It has been shipped but was delayed and will not be her until tomorrow.

Did you do site to store? or UPS. I only ask because my status never says back ordered.

From reading other threads it seems like those that ordered ship to store have been getting their items while those that choose regular shipping perhaps are not. I cannot confirm this but I'm curious to see if thats what is happening.

When I talked with customer service. I asked if I did UPS shipping would it have come quicker she said that stores have priority after pre orders are sold out.

My story seems odd as people who did the exact same after me are getting their units.

When I placed my order it gave me a 5/11 delivery date to the store. When I called CS they said the same thing. Maybe you overlooked it. Call CS and they will tell you when you item will arrive.

Canadians: UPS Brokerage Charge

Hey Canadians,
Just called UPS and they said said that there is a $60 brokerage charge because the device is shipping from america. Has anyone else received this charge?

I was not charged any brokerage fees for the delivery of my N5 or my N4 earlier this year. All I paid was the standard delivery fee at the time of purchase from the play store.

I was not charged anything either... that said, some times UPS sends you a bill a couple weeks after the fact.

Its usually fedex that sends a bill later, ups collects on the spot. However with google play purchases you should never pay any brokerage fees.

The UPS service Google uses is called "World Ease". The Canadian sites for Newegg and TigerDirect use this service. You will get no extra charges.

if brokerage fee is like duty there shouldnt be any. telecom equipment of any sort comes into canada duty free if its coming from USA

Had this weird brokerage charge message. I called Google and they worked it out with UPS. It was an import fee originally, or I guess that is what the Google Rep told me, but it was sorted. Annoying part is that I will not get my device until Monday Evening instead of Friday night because it was held... damn

If you notice they ship it from the us but you bought it from Google in Ontario somewhere.

My pre-order from Samsung still shows preparing for shipment (as it has since Nov 6th when I ordered)
BestBuy still shows "Pre-Order"
Amazon shows "Temporarily Out of Stock"
Anybody actually gotten a tracking number or seen it in a store?

My order was confirmed this morning [LTE version from T-Mobile.] I'm expecting a tracking number before the end of the day.

My local best buy had 3 in stock. I've been trying to preorder through them for a week. Went this morning and just picked it up.

I hope they send your tracking number, but the way things seem to be going, I wouldn't get my hopes too high. I was expecting to wake up with a tracking number from Samsung, didn't happen...

Nothing at my Bestbuy

Just picked mine up at my local Best Buy in Arlington, TX. There were still 2 left in the box when I left!

They had 5 in stock in the Woodlands, TX this morning when I picked mine up. Online they did not show anything so it would be best to just swing by.

Amazon telling me Tuesday 11/22 delivery

Just called Samsung. She said they were "processing" my pre-order today and I'd have it by next Wednesday at the latest.

I just canceled my online order and picked one up from the AT&T store by my work

Cancelled my Macy's preorder. Called customer service and they said expected ship date was 12-12. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Verizon might have it before those guys. Plus, that was the wifi/bt only version....

Just picked up the only one available at the corporate store downtown Dallas AT&T. They only received one unit. I was there when the doors opened. Love it.

I ordered mine from AT&T and is supposed to ship on 18th (today) , but still says "preparing to ship"

Just received a reply to the email I sent to Samsung on Monday.

My reply wasn't very nice. Shipping status early December? When people are picking them up in stores now? And the highly publicized release date of the 18th.
After the Note fiasco, you'd think they would have been better prepared for upcoming releases of whatever device it may be.

Just picked up mine from at&t. They only had one and only the supply person new they had it. Just hooked it up to my lg v20. Everything seems to work as advertised. I do use the at&t service called numbersync so it does receive calls and texts from my lg v20's phone number.
