Bend testing: Note 3 vs. iPhone 6 Plus - Galaxy Note 3 General

Poor apple... Should have called it iPhone 6 Round, or iPhone 6 G Flex

Sorry I thought you said blend
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBUJcD6Ws6s
That would annoy me if my phone slowly warped during it's life.

I thought it would have been interesting to test a 6+ for a couple of days...
But after these videos, I'm triply glad I own a Nope 3. :victory:

Omg it's like a can!

Lols! I just watched the Justin Bieber one....damn I wish that knob would fall into a blender for real! Lol

So because of IPhone 6 new bending features Apple is officially changing their name to Banana 

[Q] Why do all members think there admins?

I posted 2 threads today from my phone the xda app keep crashing. I posted pics in separate post the app was giving me an error. Then 3 members decided to start trolling about i'm bumping constantly. I feel if you had common sense you could se the times of the first post were close together. The thread would have been near the top anyway. I told them the issues i was having with the app. They all seemed to think I was lying or stupid. I have alot going on my wife is sick they dont know what it is. The rare conditions our never a good thing only selling the items both new a love. The specialist she has to see is out of network and out of town. Instead of any of these senior members pm with there concerns they all wanted to argue on the thread thus keeping it it up on the top longer anyway. I'm not out here trying to cheat or break rules here. Xda is suppose to be a community. I just wonder why these members could not have just taken me at my word.
First of all, sorry to hear about your wife. I truly hope things improve
Now onto the matter at hand.
Unfortunately, as you said, a lot of users around the forums do like to troll people who have genuine problems and questions. They do it in an attempt to seem like they have some meaning in their lives.
The best way to deal with them is simply not to reply to them at all, otherwise situations can very easily get out of hand.

Next time you´ll get an infraction.
There is already a thread for XDA app

Wtf, when can I accumulate 10 posts to make a reply in the development section? ?!!

How frustrated I am!! How cruel and inhumane the rule is!!
:crying:
Awaiting a lock! :fingers-crossed:
Just go read the rules fella
There were and will be hundreds of such threads, but no gain. You have to go by the rules.
Prevents spamming dev section you know
Thread reported
Edit: already beat me to it thx lifehacker.
Karl these are the rules its the way it is.
Go to your device forum and start learning. If your super dev genius then earn your ten post by helping others.
Its not such a big deal the ten post thing.
Why not introducevyouself in the general forum ?
A word about OT spamming and using OT to get your 10 post up is frowned upon by everyone and is against the rules.
You may even get your post count knocked back down.
PLENTY of ways to get your 10 post count and doing it in a positive constructive way will earn you xda "street cred" .
Crying about the ten post rule...not so much.
Welcome and be sure to read rules.
Check stickies too because a lot of the device forums have similar but sometimes a tad different rules.
Enjoy your xda journey.
I expect tjis thread to be closed soon
Inhumane huh? You should be lucky that MTM or I haven't deleted your posts yet. Just like you were previously told, if you don't like our rules I would be happy to have your account deleted.

Yes there are some who want to have Thanks meter like devs.
Those are actually thanksicks
ALSO FORGOT Welcome to our forum .You'll meet spammers ,thanksicks, requesters, beggers here .
But placing threads on appropriate sub-forum is better as this may be considered a General Sub- Forum not Q&A Sub-Forum.
Just to remind you :
Never ask a dev for something
Never ask ETA (estimated time pf arrival)
Never spam forums/threads
Write clearly instead of u-you ,2-to
And post threads to appropriate sub-Forums .
Best regards for you .

true that !!
Unfortunately OP, you have hit the nail right on the head.
There's 9000 levels of wrong all across the fora, and its not just this one I'm talking about. Thanks whoring, begging for donations, colorful developement threads which look more like a 5 year olds crayon book, screenshot layouts which focus on everything except the screenshot, huge signatures which are bigger than the posts that the bearing members do, members reserving posts for reasons which sane people have never understood; oh I could go on and on and on...
At the end of the day, they fail to realize all of ^this^ is rather pointless. We are, after all, part of an educated society. The forum is considered as one of the more technically oriented forums on the Internet. Yet you see people joining here for all the wrong reasons, acting in all the wrong ways.
One can not ban everyone, so instead we rely on common sense to prevail and use it as a measuring tool. We end up hoping that people see the pointlesness of all such activities. That they realize, what we do is because we love to do it, and not because we want virtual thanks, popularity or someone else's money.
If they don't like what they are doing, they shouldn't be doing it at all.

Sorry for my thread or not

I apologize if my post about iphone 5s/c enoyed a moderator in some way.. sorry i started a thread about a phone in tgr general section which if i can still read includes all discussion about any phones that doesnt fit in any other category.. if i would like only iphone users opinions then i would write on the iphone site.. but im sure there are android users as myself that are intrested to discuss all phones in the same place .. apparently xda moderators has started to close threads if they have a bad day and feel bad. This isnt the first thread i see closed down here with no real apparent reason . Maybe some moderators should look them self in the mirror before they shut down these threads that may be intresting for other people than themself

The problem is, the type of thread you started always ends up with kids just trolling and flaming and bashing iPhones and nothing productive is every accomplished. The thread you started had already gone in that direction and was closed with a link given by @Archer on where to get a more productive conversation out of the subject if that is what you really wanted. I've never owned an iPhone, I have no desire to own an iPhone, but you know what? They work and are a good fit for a lot of people. The same reason one ROM doesn't work for everyone is the same reason one phone does not work for everyone. People can choose what phone is best for them and at the end of the day, that is a good thing.
Now look, you made me start to ramble. Tsk.

4 years on xda.

I have been around these forums and have enjoyed the friendly community and the help taken and given. I have been through multiple android phones and this site has helped me to make each of them better.
Lately there has been a lot of interference from moderators. Shutting down active threads for really no apparent reason.. People discussing what ever it is it be and a mod comes in and closes the thread because they JUDGED for themself that they don't like it. Or they try and conclude everything to there liking. I have been visiting xda less and less because of this. I feel like your taking all of the fun out of a great community and being hard asses for whatever reason. Seems like a bunch of out of control cops abusing there powers just because they can.
Right now I'm laughing because some moderator is reading this and is probably going to explode with anger and remove/delete this thread.
 relax.

The sections I have frequented, I have no issue with the moderators of those sections. I guess to each their own.
I have been a moderator on another forum for over a year and know by personal experience sometimes you have to piss off a few to keep things in order and have the rules enforced. Each infraction has to be treated to similar consequences for equality, but sometimes that is hard to follow when you have a huge forum like XDA where you need a handful of people for a lot of different sections. Keeping the moderators in line as an admin can be a daunting task. If you feel a moderator is abusing his power, best to ask over PM why he did what he did. If he doesn't have reason for his actions, contact an admin of his actions.

I am sorry that you feel like the moderators are being heavy handed. If you have an issue with the way something is being handled you can PM the moderator in question and if you are still not happy you can send a PM to the Moderator Committee. I guarantee you that it will be looked into. Please do not post PMs from people into the open forums, PMs are meant to be private, posting it in public kind of defeats the purpose of them .
I promise you that the moderators want the same friendly community atmosphere that you do. Part of that requires some proactive steps to keep things that we know will eventually cause problems from causing those problems. I am sure you will agree that a thread about how the iPhone is better than the Note 3 will quickly degrade into a giant hate fest.
I am going to close this thread, because, I think it will only attract trouble. Please, take advantage of whomever it is you have contacted and feel free to PM me with any issues you have.
