Hey guys, I was using my Galaxy S3 and i realized that the wifi continued to screw up. I was running Android Kit kat so i went into settings looking for a factory reset button and never found one. I then boot into TWRP Recovery and clicked Factory reset and checked system partition (where i messed up) when reseting and then finished with a No OS message. I then tried to flash several zips designed specifically for my device and all got bad zip error... I then tried to odin back to stock firmware and got the fail message several times. I need some help here, can somebody lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!!

Hey all I am new to this site and hope you can help. I recently acquired a friends Tab 7.7. Its model number is SCH-1800. Curently it can hold a charge and boot into what I have learned is recovery and download mode. I am new to all this flashing stuff so sorry if I sound stupid but I will try to explain what I have done so far.
I tried doing a factory reset in recovery mode. I get an error about the cache can not be loaded.
I tried clearing the cache and tells me it can not load from memory.
I tried to flash using Heimdall. It gives me error -12, can not access the device.
It would be amazing if anyone can help me get this working. IT was working one night and then the next day it was not. TIA.
Did you try removing the SDCard ?

Wrong section,the SCH-i800 is the 7.0 inch Verizon Tab,not the 7.7. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab/SCH-I800BKAVZW
The Verizon 7.7 Tab is a SCH-i815

Hi
I think my problem is in worst situation ever.
First, I was on CM11.
Then I heard VZW GS3 finally got 4.3 update, so I just went back to 4.1.2 official firmware.
Then my problem started.
I got that update, and then boot was successful.
However, all of my game data and pictures were gone.
So I tried to fix that because I thought that game data and pictures were still remain at some where.
Why?
cause the memory usage showed to me it was 4GB left.
it was same amount as when I was in 4.1.2 with all the data and pictures.
so, I tried to go back to 4.1.2, but I couldn't.
And I was using CWM latest version for GS3, but OTA disable it.
So every time that I trying to go to recovery mod, it shows "System software not authorized blahblahblah..."
Anyway, then I try to boot that system nomarly.
I thought it will going to boot, but it shows Samsung Galaxy S3 logo, then booted again.
then shows "System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless blahblahblah..."
Then I try to flesh CWM 6.0.1.2 recover by odin 3.07, but it keep shows Failed.
I look up to phone error message was
Secure check failed : recovery.
It didn't installed.
So, I fleshed into stock recovery, and it installed perfectly.
So I did factory reset, and wipe caches, but still same.
It is not booting.
keep showing
System software not authorized.........
is any solution that I can do with now?
(sorry for my bad English.)
Please Help!!!!! I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 that I have a problem with. I was going through my phone trying to get java to work on the phone and I noticed you had to copy a file into the lib folder, so when I tried to start all over to see if I had done something wrong I deleted the lib folder and right when I did that the phone kept saying touchwiz has stopped working, so i turned it off and turned it on and then it wouldnt get passed the white samsung logo and then went straight to Android update recovory and if i put reboot now it just keeps taking back to the recovery state, I also did wipe data and factory reset but that didnt work either. I have tried to flash a custom firmware that i flashed on it to get it rooted but the problem stays the same is there anyway i can fix this and get my phone back?

Which recovery are you running (stock, CWM,TWRP,Philz etc) ?
As I see it, you've got 2 options:
1- Flash back to stock rom using Odin (see S3 thread FAQ)
2- Download other custom rom (I suggest the one i'm using), copy it into your device (you can mount your device SD in recovery mode),
perform wipe data + cache wipe + delvik wipe, and flash the rom.
Hey guys hope someone can point me to the right direction or knows this problem:
Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi (P5110).
Device will only boot recovery no matter what. (both with stock or custom recovery AND stock or custom rom installed - tried all combinations already)
Stock rom has been installed with odin and pit-repartition has also been tried.
When I turn on the tablet it boots straight to recovery. On stock recovery it says something about update, then "no command" and when I then choose reboot system, it says error and powers the device off.
Please help.
nobody an idea?
I had this kind of behaviour on another device before - dont exactly remember if also was samsung - but the solution was to clear out a stuck OTA update which was stored in a special partition which would normally not get wiped of flashed over. (by reformating or writing it full with /dev/zero)
Thinking back I dont think it was a samsung device though - but the "error picture" is the same.
But in this case I'm unsure where ota updates would get stored other than cache partition. Already tried clearing out some partitions on this thing - since its a wifi only model - can I clear EFS or use "reformat all" (dunno how exactly that option is called in odin) without totally bricking it? (never had to do this but since I'm out of ideas... )
Please anyone.. =)

Hello community, I am new here so I don' t know where to put this.
Well I need some help, I am having problems with my old tab, A Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113, Flashed with custom ROM CM 10.1.3 for GT-P5110
Worked fine for a year and a Half, the issue that I am having now is that, it constantly restarts, after entering to the OS I can tweak change etc, but after a few secs it just turns of and reboots the system.
The other problem that I am having is that I tried everything that I could think of. I deleted some apps, which came back after the reboot. I booted to safemode, and deleted the last apps that I installed, still came back after the crash reboot.
I went to recovery mode (CWM) and did a Factory reset, delete cache and delete Dalvik Cache. Nothing when reboot everything was like last time.
wen't to and tried to reflash CM 10.1.3 (stable) following every procedure and nothing everything was back.
Last thing I tried is ODIN with stock ROM (which is hard to find for this tab.) but get write error after going to half. I am downloading a second stock ROM (android 4.1.1) to see how it goes.
Hope to find help here, I would be greatly thankful.
EDIT: Flashed now with the new stock ROM, ODIN says success, everything seems fine, but again I got received by the same splash and the same logon screen, and still crashes and reboots...
I really need the help

It keeps with the boot loop.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. After you flash with Odin go into the stock recovery and do a factory reset. If that doesn't work it may be that you're device is just getting old and giving up the ghost. There's a whole forum for your device which may also help. See this,http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2
Oh, that would be bad news :/
Do you think it could be that I deleted CWM rommanager app, and then accidentally deleted the .recovery, that put me into this situation?

It didn't work. I noticed that after the transferring of odin it doesn't go to the installation procedure. It just skips that and goes to the logscreen with how everything I had.
Now I went to safe mode, and deleted all apps that I could from play store. when I came back after a restart, everything was there, back. :/
