basebands or stock roms for Sony Tipo ST21A2? - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

I have the US version of the Sony Tipo dual and I flashed the newest firmware for a Sony Tipo ST21i2 it works but I need a US baseband to use t-mobile data... does anyone know where I can either get the latest US stock rom or some US basebands it appears that flashing the rom might have changed the frequency bands on my Tipo or it might just be the rom can't access the 1900 AWS band I'd need for reframed T-Mobile data.

Sony Xperia SS Newest Stock Firmware 11.3.A.2.23.ftf Download

Hello people,
So I've read a couple of posts, and it seems to me that many people seem to have trouble finding a proper stock .ftf file of the newest Sony Xperia E SS. So here it is. Just in a simple post. It is unbranded, and has the usual normal apps installed, so there isn't any provider-apps installed.
Link: https://www.4shared.com/file/NLAKKZQ-/Xperia_E__C1505__113A223_Unbra.html?
Mirror: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8naZAFW2NP3NEJERTZ3aTZJbTg/edit?pli=1
Note: the mirror comes from BenjoyEricsson his thread(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2435957) all credits for the mirror go to him!
This firmware file will work for both C1504 and C1505, so don't be confused, because the file says C1505!
Have a nice day, and I hope you will benefit from this files!
Cheerios.
Will it work on C1504?

Are you you sure it will work on Xperia E C1504 (SS) ?
I need it as a backup in case anything goes wrong.
Yes, it will also work on the C1504! The firmware works exactly the same on both devices! So don't worry about that. I'll edit my first post, so there can't be any more misunderstandings. The only difference between this devices, is the network they are supporting:
C1505:UMTS HSPA 900 (Band VIII), 2100 (Band I)GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900
C1504:UMTS HSPA 850 (Band V), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I)GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900
They are like 99,99% the same, so don't bother about the firmware!

Ok.. Seems legit, buy I'm still skeptical :
-Are you absolutely sure it would cause no (network-related) problems?
-The C1505 is a dual-sim device, does using its firmware affect anything in my c1504 which is a single-sim? (N.B : the uploader's phone is a single sim C1505 )
-Will my phone show itself as C1505 under 'Model number' in 'About Device' ?

HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I WAS OF ANY HELP
Hello,
-C1505 firmware will cause no damage to your device, even if your device is a C1504!
-The C1504 and C1505 are both single sim devices! As I said the only difference between those two, is the baseband they support! What that means, is that they are exactly the same! Flashing C1505 firmware on C1504 will have no negative consequence!
The codenames for the E dual, are C1604 and C1605! So a C1505 isn't a dual Xperia E!
Don't worry about the firmware. I guearantee you it won't cause any damage to your device! If you don't believe me, you can ask someone else!
And buddy? Have some trust !/B] If this will cause damage to your device, maybe turning it into a cyberhuman who takes over the world, I will send you my device, allright?. If we aren't already dead by then...
I hope you now believe me, and if you have any other questions, just ask them! No harsh feelings !
Cheers, and good luck!

The one from Portugal /vodafone worked and then after a while updated the latest JB 4.1.1 version (worked good ) and the other ftf file i put into my flashtools to flash it on my phone would not appear in my firmware menu at all . ,that was 11.3.A,O .47.I try and redownload it again to test ..Maybe i did not get it al ...As i am new to this sort of forums ,i have a question to ask about rooting my phone
I tried framework and one click root and srsroot ,but nothing happens they all fail . It says my sd system cannot be RW
So it is something to do with having a secure boot image on my Phone .I need one that i can flash on with has no secure so i can root it
I googled everywhere ,and it is a bit complicated to me .And when i tried flashtools itself to root,i get this in the menu on pc
Tried to root failed no busybox .Do i put busybox in the folder of my flashtools or on my phone to get it to work Do you have any ideas please ??
This is how i bricked my phone in the first place trying to root (i do not mind bricking phone cause thaks to you i have the right firmware
You can use Kingo Android root, Cydiaimpactor.com, or downgrade to 11.3.A.0.47, root with Framaroot, and flash the kernel of 11.3.A.2.23.
Sorry, I'm on my phone. At the moment it's difficult to help you, and supply you with links!
Success!

Flashing d6616 baseband on d6633

Can any one try flashing tmobile firmware baseband on the d6633.T-Mobile uses bands 2, 4, and 12*as listed here; 4 is the most widely used band for them. The D6616 model, which is the one specifically for T-Mobile, supports these bands. 12 is the newest band and possibly the least used. There are many phones already on T-Mobile that don't support band 12 because it's the band they recently acquired from Verizon.
I could be wrong but this seems like a recipe for DISASTER.
I agree, its probably not a good idea.
Actually I've flashed d6633 firmwares from all over the world on a d6633 just want those t-mobile 700 band fq on the 6633!
Flashing firmwares from the same model is one thing but a different sub model is generally not a great idea.
If you have a D6633 why don't you contribute to the community and try this yourself?

With se1000 on this, if you are so confident that it has worked for you in that past. Get the phone and flash it, then report back
Flashing another models firmware does nothing to add/remove bands. There is a thread somewhere on XDA about enabling additional bands for devices utilizing Qualcomm chips but root and unlocked bootloader are required.

[Q] Sony Xperia D6683

Hello guys.
Pleas tell me if I can flash D6633 firmware on D6683. I've searched everywhere and there is no answer.
Thank you!
Yes
Sure you can!
I did for mine. D6683 running on D6633 firmware. It's ok.
Basically, the hardware of both devices is similar, the D6683 was modified to support Hongkong LTE network.
Can you tell me how to flash it? I tried with flashtool and it says that the firmware is not for this phone... or something like that. I have Locked Bootloader.
Thanks
How was this? Got a D6683 also.
I've managed to install IT. You download The firmware with xperifirm and create The ftf with flashtool v 0.9.18.6. Before you start The ftf creation just delete fwinfo from the downloaded folder. Then you flash the firmware. Flashtool won't recognize The d6633 but Will ask you what Phone you have. Select D66xx and IT starts.
So now your phone says it's a d6633? And there aren't any bugs? What are the prerequisites for using the flashtool to flash an ftf? Sorry just got this phone new(locked bootloader no root)

Have you tested the radio bands to see if they all work the same as a D6633? Curious as thinking of buying one, but the D6683 has less working bands.
D6683 LTE radio
Hi, I am also interested in finding out whether D6683 have a hardware radio for the LTE 800Mhz band. I think other models (e.g. D6633) have it. If D6683 have it then it should just be a matter of software tweaking, what procedures can I refer to for activating this LTE frequency? Thanks.

Hello,
does the LTE-Band 20 (800 MHz) work?
Thanks,
Tom
Would be unstable and probably not functional unfortunately
Hello
Is there one wants to experience the renovation Marshmallow D6633 to D6683 model?

Flashing Another Model's Modem ?

Hey Guys!
So I have just gotten an S7 (930S) and apparently, there is a mismatch between the bands present in the phone and the one offered by my network. I would like to know if I flash 930F modem on my phone would that be ok or not? I just want to flash the modem as well as the CSC of the 930F model. I hope someone can take the timeout to reply to my query.
Thanks

Yes you can, hardware is the same. However when you talk about network bands I assume your talking about the difference between networks using GSM and networks using CDMA? In which case you need to flash firmware which uses CDMA radios.

Well, when I am talking about Bands I am talking about the frequencies in which they operate. For example, my network offers the UMTS 900 frequency, but that frequency is missing from my current modem.
Therefore, I am assuming that if I flash the 930F model's modem, which does supoort the UMTS 900 frequency, I will be able to operate on the UMTS 900 frequency. Can you confirm me on that?
Or will I have to flash the 930F firmware on my phone to operate on the UMTS 900 frequency?
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Yes 930F will work and install the radios you require.
The problem I am facing right now is that although the modem (Shannon335) on my phone (G930S - Korean) is the same as that on the international model (930F). But my phone (G930S) does not support one of the bands that my network supports which is UMTS 900 and that band is supported on the international version , although hardware wise (both are Shannon335) they are both the same.
So, I was thinking if i change my modem, currently its a South Korean modem and flash the international version modem could it work and make the band work for me?

Yes it should work
Thank You very much.
I would also like to know how should I choose and which modem to flash on my phone. Which things should I match and what to avoid during the flashing process. I have currently U1 security level modem, so when I flash another modem should it be U1 level as well?

To avoid problems you must match the modem to the version of firmware you are using, so yes U1 to U1. Flash the modem separately via Odin
