Is there a way to check if I'm running on x86? I used to be able to run an app on my stock JB, but ever since I flashed SlimKat 4.4.4 I was not able to get the app to work again. I heard the problem was that the app wasn't able to run on x86...any ideas?
If I am running on x86, how do I change that?

I have a rooted and unlocked g1 and pac-man does not show up for me on android market but I did find the apk on the net. However when I actually start a game the screen is constantly flashing, just wondering if this is because I have a rooted/unlocked g1 or if anyone else has experienced similar issues? Cheers
I get the flashing in the game, but it shows up in the market were iI downloaded it. I think it's because it's still only 1.1 sdk, once they update it to 1.5 it should be OK!

that's all you .. i would question the apk you are using .. if it's not on the market then don't use it .. i've had no problems with pac-man since fw1.0 and have upgraded to fw1.1 and still no problems .. so going to fw1.5 should have no affect .. root access does not hinder apps unless you are using ADP version which has some missing components from RC33
It's becuase pacman isn't fully compatible with the 1.5 builds yet. It flickers and the colors are off a bit. And by the way, pacman isn't downloadable in the u.s. on rooted phones right now even though it's free. We have to use an .apk.
Im running haykuro 1.5 Hr3 and see pac man in the market. If i remember reading correctly the market doesnt block apps on previous firmware versions, it does however hide apps built on a higher version. So a app build on 1.1 firmware is visible to phones running 1.5 firmware. But apps built on the 1.5 firmware is hidden on phones running 1.1
I don't think it shows up for me as my G1 is unlocked.
If you are using ADP without market fix you will not see pac-man in market.
yeh i experience the same problem on my rooted haykuro hr3 ADP rom, it only flashes in game play and it is very slow.
roote us phones
Not so fast guys I have a rooted phone and am in the us and have been able to download pacman through all ports. That seems to be a problem with your market app. I'm running jf 1.5 and it showed up fine.
Hi.
I want to use this version of Sync so i can sideload apps without having to root the phone. However, the 3.0.5 version does not include the drivers needed for the Sync app to see the Inspire. I installed the latest version and it can now see it. Has anyone tried installing 3.0.5.372 over the latest release in order to get the sideload app option?
Thanks.
extract the drivers from the newer version and load them on the old version. see if it works.
You could just use Sideload wonder machine and use the newest version of Htc Sync.
SWEET! Worked like a charm.
Do you have any recommendations on solid sideload apps I should have? Do any overcome AT&T locking me out of tethering? I'm trying to avoid rooting the phone, but want to get as many of the advantages or a rooted phone as I can.
For instance, any way to remove the bloatware without rooting?
Thanks again!

Hi,
I am wondering how I can finally migrate away from stock. I am running 4.4.2 on SM-P900 without device encryption.
Since I am still unrooted, I am guessing I need to use Odin3 (not v3.07). Is there another method that does not require a PC? I only have access to a macosx

Hey so I've been trying to get pokemon go on my android device. I have a 4.2.1 Blu Life One. In order to run pokemon go I need 4.4, or at least my phone to say it is 4.4. I mostly just want to see whether or not my phone is capable of running it, or how well it can run it.
I've tried changing the build prop to say I was a galaxy 4, which runs 4.4, and I've tried doing it on the market helper. Neither seem to change what type of phone google play thinks I have. Any suggestions or help? I'm willing to provide any information that is valuable to helping me out here.

Try factory reset, dont log in, change build prop, then log in to google play?

The most sure fire way of doing is by upgrading your android ,if there's no official update there's bound to be some custom ROM for your phone with android4.4 or higher.
As for changing build.prop the things you need to change are
Ro.build.version.release and api level but changing this could cause problem with already installed apps so pls backup before trying anything.(don't blame me if things don't work out well)
I have a rooted SMT350 Galaxy Tab A. I really want to install TFT on it. However, its flagged by the playstore as a non-eligible device. I was wondering if there is some way to circumvent this, and force the game to install. This tablet can play hearthstone which is about as graphically as intense, its its annoying to me. The device is not flagged because of the root, it was like that before, i rooted in hopes to get around this. Thank you.
The game only installable and working on devices running Android 7 and higher.
