Anyone have any luck getting the Samsung camera app going on this phone? The app that let's you pair your phone to your Samsung camera and use it as a remote viewfinder. App installed fine but when I try to use it after pairing to my camera no dice. No force close but almost seems like it loses the connection after pairing
NM..tried it on my tablet and worked fine after making a change on camera. Went back to phone and viewer working now.

LONG Press and see if you can click Connect
Download Bluetooth File Transfer from the market. Usually works for me. Works even better when both phones have the app installed and running.
I connect a digital camera to my Note 10.1 (jelly bean) using a Samsung USB connector. The USB device is detected and a window opens with the contents of the device. Works great. When I'm finished, I tap the USB icon to safely remove the device. Later, if I reconnect the device, the USB Connected message is displayed, but no window with the contents opens. The file manager doesn't list the device. I can't get to the contents of the device unless I reboot and try again. This is repeatable.
Is there a way to reset the USB connection, find the device in "My Files", or get to the USB contents without rebooting between uses? Thanks for any ideas,
K.

You may have to re-boot the tablet.
Correct, rebooting works, but is that the only way? I hope not.

Try to connect the camera to the adapter first then connect to the tablet. I've had the same issue with some other devices and that fixed the problem.
I have the same problem and i get around it by running USB host diagnostics app. It an app from chainfire and its free on the market.

Thanks. I downloaded the USB app and I'm still having the same problem, I'll keep trying. BTW, turning the USB on before connection made no difference.

Problem solved. I uninstalled Avast Mobile. Now, I can reconnect the USB as many times as I want and the file window opens up each time. This is the behavior I expect.
Thanks all.

Hi,
my Nexus S does strange things when I try to use apps which use bluetooth.
For example I wanted to use a presentation app which needs an app on my phone and an additional software on my pc. When I connect both via wlan everything works just fine. When trying the same with bluetooth, it shows a "cannot connect to device" infobox on the Nexus for the split of a second and performs a hot reboot.
It makes no difference whether I pair the devices first or try to do this within the app.
This happens with other bluetooth apps, too. Normal file transfer from one smartphone to another or a pc works fine!
Any ideas?

Hello,
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Young N (gt-s6310n) with Android 4.1.2, rooted. I've installed an app to control my DSLR camera from my phone. The app runs normally, and both the Camera and the OS are supported (I don't know for the phone, but the app always start). I bought a OTG cable, recommended also by the app.
The problem is that when I launch the app, it doesn't recognize the camera, also if it's connected. The only problem that there might be is that the OTG is not abled on the phone. How can I able it?

OTG can be enabled via kernel editing, but the phone's hardware must also support OTG....and in the case of this phone I don't think it have a hardware OTG support.

Did you initially pair the phone and watch using Bluettooth? Make sure that they are connected via BT before using any apps that pair the two devices.

Yes, watch and phone are paired via Bluetooth and using it, other apps works ok, for example calling, music stearing

I had that problem too. This is what fixed it for me
I installed Endomondo on my S3 Gear, UNINSTALLED it from my device (AT&T S7E), then ran the app on the S3.
It prompted to install the app on the phone, which it did, I logged into the app on my device and boom it worked
