Ok bro.... You should take your device to service centre... They may charge you some money but I think they can fix it and flash stock firmware

Hi, this happened to me once while I still had an HTC Sensation, every rom I flashed didn't boot past the splash screen boot logo, and it had something to do with having s-on instead of s-off in my phone's recovery preventing it from booting other custom OS's.
I found a fix somewhere, which made me understand I didn't need to have S-Off to have a Custom OS, flashed, rather, there was this small trick, booting the phone from the boot.img file with adb instead of rebooting from a custom recovery. This was an HTC Sensation, not a Samsung, Only trying to help:
* Get/Extract the boot.img file in your custom rom's zip and save it somewhere on your desktop.
* Once you're done flashing the custom rom in recovery, DO NOT reboot from recovery, turn it off by removing its battery and fixing it back, then boot your phone into downloader mode and run these commands.
Code:
cd C:\Users\your-username\Desktop\
( path to where you've got your boot.img file )
Code:
adb flash boot boot.img
Your phone should now boot the custom Rom fine, like I said, you'll be trying this at your own risk, as this worked for an HTC in a similar situation.
Hope I was able to help.

[Q] G2x stucked in the booting screen! (After installing CyanogenMod)

Hey guys - I'm sorry for my really bad english and i'm - almost - an android noob.
Until today i hadn't made any modification on my phone (not even rooting, just installing apps and launchers).
Today i tried to root it, and completely worked it out. After this i tried to install the CyanogenMod 7. It seemed like was gonna work, but when it was "rebooting", it stucked in the booting screen and i don't know what to do now
I already tried to do everything that is in this thread: How to unbrick your G2x from GB update through LG, but it didn't work.
The phone just back to the way it was before.
Just a pic to you guys know what i'm talking about:

I already tried, but it just shows me an way to do that with an app called "Octupus Box" but i'd have to pay, and it seems like something not SO hard to do, but i can't do it by myself, i'll need you guys help ):
read this over, and never try to root your phone without reading
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049154
I had that same problem the first time I did used CM7. What I did was I went back into recovery, wiped everything. Format, wipe cache, and wipe Dalvik. Then did it all over again. It worked the second time. If it doesn't work, look for another rom and see if it works. If not, unroot and stay that way. Every phone, despite being made the same, doesn't function the same.

Any reason to include in the package anything more that just the logo? It's somewhat dangerous to flash bootloader.
Basically, you made a custom bootloader that a mobile user will see for a few seconds so that people can flash it and possibly brick their phones? It's a bit useless don't you think? Just my opinion because it's not worth risking your phone for a little bootloader that you can only see for a few seconds when you boot your phone.

Yes but a bootloader can brick a phone so it's not worth the risk. I think you should mention that a bootloader can brick your phone in the first post so that a new person to the forums doesn't decide to flash it without knowing the risks.

Why are you so critical to everything what are making for g3? Aren't you afraid of flashing customs because of breaking your phone? It can happen one day:laugh:
BTW... Why are you changing bootanimation from stock to custom? It for a few seconds too I'm too tired of stock gt-i5800 logo... Let MmegaMac go on this project
Sorry for OT

I was expressing the risk. He didn't specifically say that flashing a boatloader has a higher risk of bricking your phone and I mentioned that so he could write it and a noob doesn't come to the forums and flash the .tar without knowing the risks first. Secondly, I haven't manually changed my bootanimation, i change custom ROMs which automatically changes the bootanimation but i change because of the ROM, not because of the animation. I wasn't intending to criticise anything, I just didn't see a point in doing it and i wanted him to specifically mention about bootloader risks in the OP.
Edit: Oh yeah, i've flashed a trillion custom ROMs and also flashed stock ROMs with bootloaders many times so I don't think i'm scared of bricking my phone... I just want people to know the risks because taking a plunge and jumping to conclusions.
Useless and not worth risk.
Well more than a minor eye candy, it's pretty useless.
Each is free to make what he wishes on his telephone. If you don't want to make it, don't make it but do not prevent the other persons from making it !
Thanks for mentioning about bootloader risk in the OP.
AFAIK simply flashing the png file should be enough, as far as I know how Sbl works. Please try a bit more, as it should work.

This is from the RAZR forum I guess.. seen it there..
And those guys couldn't reboot or boot normally after doing this.. they had to use bp tools every time or use custom init with bmm or ss3 after the rooting process.. guess that issue is only for att phones..

no failure possibility is 0 if u followed instruction correctly
and yes definitely a one click root mehtod will come up but it will require our devs to understand new architecture of the boot and security till then u can go for this :d

- Rooted
- Autorec installed
Getting Started:

- Run Autorec and flash TWRP (2.7)
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash TWRP-2.8.6.1_D80130b.zip

I pulled the aboot.img and laf.img from 20e , bumped the stock lollipop boot.img using a guide i found in the g3 forums and packaged it with twrp 2.8.6.1.
I'm not super experienced or anything but this kind of stuff interests me so i learn as i go
That's pretty awesome. I was gonna try something similar, but I was afraid I was gonna brick my phone... I didn't think about bumping the boot.img at all, that was smart haha.

maybe you need busybox?
I had that problem once but it was in the middle of me re-flashing the kdz a bunch of times and it didn't happen again. Start fresh if you can

That was my plan....... When i first flashed this rom i had no problem with installing autorec but then i got the security error.. So i just flashed kdz then rooted and set the phone up...... Can't wait to get all this going.... Really untested to see how sins if these custom roms run with new radio
Screen goes crazy when recovery tries to dim screen...looks like back when lgd jdi screen issues used to be a problem

maybe try flashing blastagators twrp package for the 801 : http://blastagator.ddns.net/twrp/2-8-6-1.php
even though this is what i used in mine anyways, it's worth a shot. You will still be able to boot after flashing this since it is only recovery.

Yes i changed my boot animation ..
But first showing mi.com ( boot logo)
Then boot animation coming...
I want to remove boot logo too .
Plz help me .
Sorry cause off topic, but my opinion is: never shouldn't say "no,u can't delete it" or "no, you can't edit this". Is there something which is impossible in IT-computer-cyber-mega-giga world? I think: yes, you can everything what you want, but you need advanced knowledge for some stuffs. Changing Android boot splash screen isn't any new thing, but is little risky and different from one phone model to another. I was changing this first splash screen on my earlier phones Alcatel 992 D and Samsung S3 mini. Sorry, but I don't know how to change this on ferrari (personally, I would like to know), but I can't to not comment that "it is impossible" opinion.
Once again, sorry cause off topic.

Looking though other phones, you may need to change a file in the kernel source. Somewhat like AK kernel does
Check this thread out. Someone willing to try? http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/tool-change-boot-logo-images-t2763698/page49

I have found the solution for that.
Need a little time.
Just to focus you on new found :
The mi logo, fastboot logo is located in aboot an abootbak partition
lrwxrwxrwx root root ubject_r:block_device:s0 aboot -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p11
lrwxrwxrwx root root ubject_r:block_device:s0 abootbak -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p12
Found out that the size of fastboot is 649 px long, it's 24 bpp 3 = Bpp
There is also mi.com inside if you look for the photo attached .
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

}
I guess based on image that there are 2 more hidden picts inside ... the cict before fastboot is mi.com picture.
Need a little help on the offset of it ...
If anyq wants to help 4 it ...
Hit thx if I helped a little bit - giveway of the path to walk to ...
