[Completed] How to approach solving a boot loop for an unpopular device - XDA Assist

I have an ematic egp010 tablet that is stuck in a bootloop
I think there are a few different tactics for getting this solved, but I am kind of at a loss as to where to start (and which forums to ask questions on)
I can get the device to be recognized as adb by a computer, but I can't get into the device recovery mode directly (it boots, I see an ematic logo, then an android system update type logo and then the device reboots)
So I feel like something should be doable, but due to the fact this is not a very popular device, I don't really know where to ask
Suggestions on what to do/where to start?

[Completed] Cube U55GT Talk79 Stuck in Boot Loop :(

Hi all,
This is my first post so be gentle! I will try and help others as my knowledge improves to keep the circle going!
My Cube U55GT Talk79 tablet has been stuck in bootloop for a long time now.
The cause was I attempted to install an update to it through "settings">"about tablet">"update" within Android. The update failed but I could still use the tablet just fine after this. A day or so later I decided to hit the "factory reset" button in Android to wipe the whole tablet clean.
Since then it has been stuck in its boot loop.
I was thinking of flashing the firmware by USB or by SD card but, to be honest, I am not sure of how to do this. I have tried to boot into a recovery mood but that doesn't seem to do anything at all.
I am really stuck and confused and would be so grateful if anyone on here could help me. I know many of you have no reason to help an utter stranger but if you could spare the time to I would really appreciate it.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Now you have me curious as to the name of the tablet!
Without knowing the device name (because there is a myriad of things one can do, but only a small handful for any particular device), all I can do is point you to the direction of the [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly] thread of the > Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Just so you know, in order to get any useful help, they will need to know as much info about the tablet as you can dig up (make and model number are good starters).
Hope this helps, and good luck!

[Completed] Sencor Element 8D101 tablet boot problem

Hello XDA-forums,
To start with a qoute: "Help me, XDA-Developers. You're my only hope."
Got an android tablet (Sencor Element 8D101) from a close friend, with the message, that if fails to boot.
Indeed, when i try to switch it on, only the beginning splash screen (the word "element" in front of cloudy background) is visible, and the tablet does nothing more. As far as i know, the device was not rooted.
I read that pushing some phyiscal buttons during boot may bring up a recovery boot menu that may help. Hardreset.ifno said for this model, that should be Volume up + Power. Sadly i do not seem to do it right, because at best i am only getting an infinite loop of the "element" screen and big green android logo (but not the lying down android with it open chest, just the standing one) - but nothing resembling a menu.
I got adb.exe and tried "adb wait-for-device", but that also does not seem to recognize the device.
Is there hope in restoring this device? If yes, how?
Thanks,
toti
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist.
There is no dedicated forum for your device at this time but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help.
Since your device is relatively uncommon, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!

[Completed] Lenovo IdeaTab A2109A-F boot loop

Hi,
I'm pretty new to tinkering with Android and mobile devices in general.
I was tasked by a family member to try and "repair" a non-working Lenovo tablet. As per the title, it seems like the problem is that it is stuck in boot loop. Here is about as much detail as I can come up with right now. Most or all of this is new stuff to me, so I apologize in advance if I misuse terms or misapply concepts; it's what I could gather over a bit of online searching.
- The tablet is owned by a non-tinkerer / casual user, so has the stock OS (I'm not entirely certain myself which, Jelly Bean?), hasn't been modded, no ROM installed, not rooted, not in USB debugging mode, unless these were a default setting to begin with.
- Upon power up, the tablet won't get passed the Lenovo logo, which seems like a boot loop and not a "brick state" as a lot of people often jump to. I could not say what was done prior to the first instance of this. The user probably didn't do anything fancier than downloading and using apps.
- I booted into recovery mode (hold power button and volume ±), wiped cache and a reset to factory, to no avail, still getting a boot loop.
- I'm not certain how to call it, but I can boot up in a different mode by holding power button and volume down, which gives me a few options and ends up displaying "Cold booting Linux" along with the Lenovo logo, but this still goes nowhere.
- I tried to sideload a few things over ADB, including factory firmware, but it always ends the same: "Installation Aborted". These were all .zip files, which I understand is the way to go. Maybe I didn't have an exactly correct file for the tablet?
I'm posting here because I'm pretty much out of ideas, any semblance of progress has stalled and I am only willing to spend so much time trying to revive an old tablet. Seems to me like the rooting and USB debug settings might be a problem at this point and I don't think it's fixable from here on.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
