[Q] Help: Trouble with AT&T Note 3 after soft brick resolved - General Questions and Answers

Model Number: SM-N900A
Android Version: 4.3
Build Number: JSS15J.N900AUCUBMI9
Attempted to root my AT&T Note 3 due to the GPS failure issue using root_de_la_Vega.
The root failed using N900AUCUBMI9_OneClickBin.exe and I ended up with the error “Firmware upgrade encountered an issue”
I wasn't able to boot into recovery and Kies wouldn't recognize the device so I had to use a PIT file and then do a factory restore to correct the soft brick from the initial attempt.
I flashed back to the stock Samsung firmware successfully (somewhat) but Kies won't do any additional udates.
I now am getting constant popups "Unfortunately, Direct pen input has stopped".
I confirmed that in the application manager MyScriptResourceManager is on. It needed an update which I applied and then I rebooted it without success. I then turned the manager off and on again in case that was the problem but the popups are still constant.
I'm not sure how to fix it. Any advice you have would be great.

[Q] Firmware Update Failed!

Hello Guys,
I had rooted my SGN before & restored to stock ROM DXKL2. However whenever i tried to update the firware from Software Update, it always says "Failed to update firmware. Try again using PC software (Kies) or Visit Samsung Service Center".
The update download & installation seemed to run well accordingly, but after reboot with "Uploading Media Files" display, the screen simply goes off half way for reboot again, and once SIM PIN gets input, the above display shows up.
May i know how is this happening? Thanks in advance.

[Completed] [Q] Crippled Note 3 N9005

Hi guys!
I'm from India and I had imported a European n9005 LTE. The phone was unlocked and it worked fine. I rooted it. Then to get Kitkat, I flashed N9005XXUENB7 firmware through Odin 3.07 and rooted it again. That worked perfectly too. Later I flashed N9005XXUENB7 again to lose the root. Then I decided to downgrade to the original firmware N9005XXUDMJ7_N9005OXADMJ4_BTU through Odin 3.07 and it failed and I got stuck with “Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies & Try Again” message. At this point, I put the phone in download mode and tried to flash N9005XXUENB7 again, choosing N9005XXUENB4_N9005DBTENB1_DBT_PIT, and checking the Re-Partition box along with Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time. I completed the flashing successfully and got the PASS message, but now the phone is plagued by major problems. It doesn't identify my sim card anymore, the camera barely works, the phone keeps restarting, and the whole system has become extremely unstable.
Is there any way to fix this? Please help me guys. I'm desperate because I love this phone.
Sorry for the double post.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S5 Active Sofware Update Failed

Hi guys,
I've been trying to update my SM-G870A to Android Lollipop for awhile now. I had it rooted and safestrapped but I took both off to install the update. However, every time I try to update it reboots, gets through part of the update and says, "Update Failed". I tried to use Kies 3 on my computer but it said my software is up to date which I know it isn't. I've done a factory reset from the recovery boot menu and I'm all out of ideas.
Thanks for any help
Download firmware and flash through odin
The bootloader is locked

How to get official firmware back on Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) J710FN ?

I rooted my phone a a few days ago and now I'm trying to get back the official firmware which should be possible.
I flashed TWRP, SuperSU and "no-verity something".
Yesterday I tried to unroot my phone and I saw in a tutorial I only have to press the fully unroot button in SuperSU and it should work.
Well it did, but I still couldn't open Snapchat I thought it was TWRP. I saw that I need root access to uninstall TWRP. I tried to flash SuperSU once again and then my phone just gave up.
It didn't break or something, but when I boot my phone normally it I get an error message, I have a german phone... I can't translate it perfectly, but it says some "integrity check" has failed and I have to factory reset my phone. That's where the problems started.
When I press the "reset" button, it tries to factory reset my phone, but I think it can't read internal memory. When I connect it to my PC it only shows my SD card.
When I go to wipe on TWRP it shows "internal memory 0MB" and I think it has some difficulties reading the internal memory.
My question is, is there a possibility to get the J710FN firmware and all the things back, like the original recovery and all the things.
I tried to flash the original global firmware via ODIN3 v3.12.3 but it fails. My phone says "SW REV CHECK FAIL Device: 4 Binary: 3"
I just want to get back the original firmware without any rooted things so my phone works again.
Oh and I tried to factory reset it in case somebody thinks that's the problem.
Factory resetting doesn't work, because I THINK my phone can't read the internal memory.
I really hope someone can help me.
You can ask me any kind questions for information you need to gather to help me.
Thank you in advance!
I think sw rev check fail (software reverse)mean's that you are trying to flash an out dated firmware (in comparison to the firmware that your phone has on it now)Your phone will block you trying to downgrade your firmware.
Before you do anything you could try the emergency software update and Initialisation in smart switch,I think you need is your phone's serial number(if you still have the box i will be on there)
If all else fail's you could try downloading the most up to date software from sammobile and flash it with the most up to date version of odin you can find
