Need to find another rom. - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and I tried to install CyanogenMod, after installing I rebooted the device to see the spinning CyanogenMod spinning logo but it is off centre and it is streched, it also spins forever meaning I cannot get start my device, also holding Volume Up and the Power button at the same time just starts the device with the off-centre spinning CyanogenMod logo again, the same happens with Volume Down meaning I cannot get into the Recovery and Download modes on my tablet. Please Help?!?!?!?!?!?!?
UPDATE: I couldn't enter recovery mode because it was plugged into the charger, after disconnecting the charger and trying it I was taken directly to the ClockworkMod recovery mode screen and I restored the old SAMSUNG touchwiz terribleness so I need to find a new rom, one that wont bug out on me.

h t t p://download dot cyanogenmod dot org/?device=p3110 on this page is the one I downloaded, the Nightly at the top, I was wondering if it would be safe for me to remove the assert line on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P-3110

There is no "best rom" you need to read the threads and find the one suites your need best, each rom have its own pos and cons.
That said; the one rom I found the best to suite my needs and stable is paranoid Android, it's fast and stable even the alpha release that am currently using. Read about it and download it it form this thread
Hit thanks if it helps

Unable to boot GT-P6200 in recovery mode

Hi
I cannot get my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (GT-P6200) to boot in recovery mode.
I tried the following:
1) Switch off the Tab.
2) Press the Power + Volume Up buttons simultaneously until I see the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus" screen, then release the Power button and keep pressing the Volume Up button. The tab then get's stuck on the Samsung screen, even if I release the Volume Up button. It stays on this screen indefinitely, only option is to reboot by keeping the power button pressed for 5 seconds.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Same problem
any help ???
On which verison thar ur on???? have u tried to wiping data in stock recovery
??
same problem I'm having with my Samsung Gt-p6200, it just boot-loops to the "samsung galaxy tab 7.0" boot loading screen and hangs.. these happened after i flashed my firmware from stock honeycomb to jellybean(the austria firmware, i think that's been posted in this forum).
here's what happened before the problem:
-I flash the stock honeycomb firmware with the jellybean one that i found here..
-after i flashed using ODIN, the new firmware works great, i was even informed that i have free 50GB worth of dropbox space,
the file was named P6200XXMC3_P6200OXAMC3_ATO
- I have used it for a day, until the battery drains and i have to charge, but when i opened it again, it already does this "boot loop" problem
- i have tried flashing CWM with ODIN(as i've read here somewhere that it might help) and do that wipe cache and factory reset thing but that didnt help solved the problem.
hope anyone could help me, im also thinking flashing it back to it's original stock firmware but I dont have a backup of that and I dont know where to get one, I've been searching the net for two days for that stock rom but all i found are the new jellybean ones and some old ones but is uploaded to hotfile which is now deleted or locked.
I hope you guys could help me out and thanks in advance!
try flashing a new , latest firmware on odin
just try it.

Hello guys! Im also having this same issue.
*Using the same firmware that was posted here in xda because i was having trouble downloading those official jellybean firmwares
*The battery got drained
then if i charge it, it will remain in a "blank slightly illuminated screen"
* after a few munutes, the tab gets really warm.
*but if i dont charge it, it will get drained again because it keeps on turning on itself back to this time to the "galaxy tab plus screen"
I cant access recovery mode.
I can access odin mode and can flash successfully with cwm or the same firmware back but the problem still persist.
I havent tried other firmwares though.
4 days passed already and i cant figure this out
Please help
So I had this happen to me yesterday, where it rebooted randomly on me, only to freeze on the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus screen. I had custom recovery (TWRP) don't know if that matters, but I was able to access it by holding Power+UpVol but keep it held. It would freeze on the same spot but since I was still holding the keys it reboots a second time and this time it would go into recovery.
I then wipes cache and dalvik, no go. Sadly did a full wipe. Still no going past the tab plus text. So I flash MF1 official 4.1.2 firmware (I was previously on 4.1.2 UK official) still no go. Put in latest 2.8 TWRP and booted into it still with some trouble as I mentioned above. Did another wipe and it then hung on blank screen or so I thought. Took a long time to boot and after a long time, and the Android is upgrading message, by some weird chance I was on the MF1 official rom but all my apps settings everything was saved.
Working 100% now and I still don't really know what the hell happened. But if this helps anyone then all the better!

Download odin and stock rom files to flash with odin (make sure you use correct files or a brick will happen)
Shutdown the phone (if needed hold power button 10+ seconds until bootloop stops).
Plug phone into computer and turn the phone on and as the phone vibrates release the power button, then hold down the volume down button and home key. then follow onscreen instructions.
for flashing instructions please search the mobile section of these forums.
I followed all the intrusions given and the only thing that as changed is the cwm. its still stuck on the Samsung screen and not moving.

Galaxy Tab 7 sph-p100 boot looped after root attempt

Galaxy tab 7 sph-p100 stuck in a boot loop after root attempt, using odin3 v1.70 and CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.tar and this tutorial off youtube "How to ROOT Galaxy TAB P1000 [Gingerbread]" ,Im not a developer , I wanted to gain root access to upgrade to jelly bean 4.4. I downloaded drivers for the tablet onto my pc based machine, downloaded the linked files, ran odin, selected PDA, selected the CF-Root-Tab7.tar, I want to note that In the tutorial the tabs stock version was 2.3.6 while mine WAS 2.3.4. With my tablet off I connected my usb cable, odin detected my device, with my device connected , odin displayed it as com-4 while in the tutorial the device connected read com-3, I hit start on odin, Odin's messages displayed 1 succeed/ 0 failure, my tab reboots and reads samsung then displays a faint white line on the right side of the screen and just keeps doing that. I hold power till it goes completely off , the I try holding power + Vol up keys when the samsung logo is displayed let off the vol and keep holding the power key till it goes Into recovery mode? which it wont...... I don't really know how to proceed at this point , Im pretty much stuck with this device until its figured out. Any help is much appreciated.
Wrong Tab sir.

[Fixed] Accidentally installed Tab 1 recovery onto Tab 2

I was following this the Cyanogen install directions for the p5110. When I to the section on downloading the recovery image, I headed to Clockworkmod but didn't scroll down far enough. The end result, I've installed the recovery for the Samsung Galaxy Tab _1_ 10.1 (wifi) onto my Galaxy Tab _2_ 10.1 (GT-P5100).
It's now stuck in a boot loop. Holding down power reboots to the Tab 2 10.1 screen, but holding the volume down/up buttons in various timings with the power button doesn't get me back into Download mode, it just comes back to the same Tab 2 10.1 screen over and over. I cannot get the device to power off completely, it just boots to the 10.1 screen again.
Is there any way to recover my device or have I bricked it?
After trying repeatedly to get back into download mode, I gave up for a few hours and came back once the battery had died.
After charging the battery for a while on a wall plug I tried to boot into download mode. This caused the same problem as before.
I thought I'd check to see if the USB was even visible within Linux on a PC so attached the USB cable and powered on. Magically, after a few iterations, it booted to the OS.

[Q] New ROM boot loop

So I grabbed my old S3 to give to the wife to help entertain the new baby (ie making vacuum noises to he'll go the F to sleep). If I start to trail off or don't make sense, it's likely because I've got a 1 week old and I sleep in 45 minute intervals. Apologies in advance.
I was trying to move off my old CarbonROM to something a little more user friendly for the wife, and in doing so I've run into a snag. I downloaded the CM 12.1 nightly (already stupid, should have grabbed a stable 10.2), and probably the wrong GApps package (tk_gapps-modular-micro-5.1.1-20150620-signed) instead of the CM GApps. Upon booting, everything looks normal, gets to "Android is starting - optimizing app x of 97," counts up to all the apps, says "starting apps," then "finishing boot," then gives me a few colored lines at the top, reboots and starts the process all over again.
I tried booting to recovery (Volume Up + Home + Power), but no matter when I release the buttons (immediately when the quick Samsung logo comes up, when the CM "Galaxy SIII" logo comes up, or not at all), I can't get it to work. I've downloaded ODIN and tried booting to Download (Volume Down + Home + Power), and I get to the Continue/Cancel screen, but when I hit Volume Up to continue, it just vibrates and shuts off.
I've got a nandroid backup of the CarbonROM state that if I could get into recovery, I could restore. I've got the latest TWRP installed as well that the backup was made with. Just having a hell of a time trying to get back to it.
Thanks for any help and apologies if this is a very obvious fix
