~Download the Exploit package for Lava Iris458Q from here
~Extract the package to the root of your sdcard with ES File Explorer
ROOTING
~Install Framaroot.apk and MobileUncleTools.apk
~Goto System Settings>About Device and tap on the Build number for 7 times to enable the Developer options
~Goto Developer options in Settings and tick the USB debugging
~Open framaroot and Select an action to execute after root to install SuperSU
~Next tap on Boromir....again open framaroot and tap on Boromir
~Restart the Device to enable superuser access
~Now your mobile is ROOTED
INSTALLING RECOVERY
~Open Mobile Uncle Tools app and give Su access
~Tap on Recovery Update
~select the recovery.img from your sdcard and tap OK
~Now tap on goto recovery mod, you can see new recovery installed
-->Entering into Recovery Mode
~Switch off the device
~Press Power+Volume Up buttons at atime
~Release them after seeing the LAVA logo
~Now you are in recovery mode

Micromax A117 Magnus All things root & Development!

The Recently Launched A117 is a good and direct replacement to the A116..
Anyway Here it is

By using Root with Restore by Bin4ry v15.7z(download from attachments)
1.Enable USB debugging on your device. To do that, go to Settings > Development > USB debugging.
2.Connect your device to any PC/laptop and install the drivers .
3.Unzip the root tool you downloaded above.
4.Change the mode of your device from USB Storage to Media Device and proceed further. This change can be done only when you have
connected your device to the PC, so don't go mad searching for this option before you have even connected your device.
6.Run the runme.bat file.
7.A command prompt with weird green letters will pop-up on your screen.
Follow the onscreen instructions carefully. To start off, you willl need to type in a "1" and press enter.
Note: If you ever want to Unroot your Micromax A88, follow the above steps till you reach this one and then, instead of typing "1", type "x" and hit enter. Follow the instructions that appear on the command prompt after that.
8Your device will reboot during the process after which Bin4ry will copy some files to your device.
9.Else just reboot your phone
10.When the green letters in the command prompt says Have Fun!
That means, your device is rooted now and you can enjoy Superuser permissions!

Especially for the CWM Recovery that the OP has not been tested. If the recovery was not compiled using all correct fstabs, the result will be a corrupted/damaged partition, and possibly a perma-bricked device.

[Completed] [Q] Need help with Micromax Canvas HUE rooting

Hi,
I just purchased the Micromax Canvas HUE ( AQ5000 )
So far i have tried the following programs to root, all were unsuccessful.
1. Framaroot 1.9.3 and 1.9.1
2. Kingroot app
3. iroot ( just freezes at waiting for phone )
4. 1 click root ( root not found )
5. Towelroot
Can anyone please help me Root my device?

No cwm recovery found for this device

Solution found.
here it is .
1. download and install Root Genius : http://goo.gl/Razjs1
2. download and install all drivers from this zip ( don't install a110 thats not for this phone ) : http://goo.gl/psDVwB (mediafire link!)
3. put phone in debugging.
4. start app.
5. connect phone.
6. select root it once the option appears.
7. wait. be patient.
8. done! now disconnect.
9. connect to the net and kinguser should auto update.
10. install root checker and see.

Micromax Canvass Hue Successful Root Guide

I finally managed to find a successful root method for micromax canvass hue.Before this method i tried rooting with iroot,root genius and many phone apps that turn wheels on phone screen and finally a tick appears which means your phone has been rooted.But that tick never appeared on my phone.I kept searching and found an pc app like iroot that worked for me.STEPS
1: Download Kingo Root Here (download.cnet.com/Kingo-Android-Root/3000-2094_4-75996768.) html {copy link and remove ( and ),i.e,brackets add www before download. cnet and remove spaces in url}
2: Download canvass hue drivers from here www .(goo.gl/9rH8)if {copy link and remove ( and ),i.e,brackets and remove spaces in url}
3: Install Kingo root on your pc .connect ur phone via usb cable.Enable USB Debugging and make sure u have a working internet connection on your pc
4: Open Kingo root and it will automatically install required software to root ur phone and in five minutes it will root ur phone.
5: Use root checker app from play store to verify root access.
6: Download superuser (cmw one) from play sore and install and open it.follow simple instructions there .Your phone will reboot and ur done.
Note: Try this method without downloading micromax canvass hue drivers first as kingo root automatically downloads required drivers. If u face any problem tell me.And dont forget to hit thanks button

Step 1 : First install the vcom & usb drivers
Step 2: Copy "SuperSU.zip" in your phone memory.
Step 2 : Now open sp flash tools & select scatter file "MT6580_Android_scatter.txt" with recovery.img.
Step 3 : Remove battery From Phone, Click "Download" on sp flash tool & Connect USB With Cable with PC,
Wait till Successfull.
Step 4 : Now connect battery & press on Vollum Up key and power key at same time.
Step 5 : Press on install button and Select "SuperSU.zip"
Step 6: Now Swipe on install Button.
Step 7 : After successfully instaling supersu, reboot the system.
