developers plzzzz help - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

stuck with the error plzz help flashed stock with odin but remains at setup connection

screenshot

It happened with me sometime back; I tried download mode & it worked. However, recovery mode Home & Power buttons is not accesible.
Take out battery. Re-insert it & "cafefully" press & hold Volume down & Home & Power buttons together & u will enter download mode(yellow triangle). Flash the firmware as usual & see if it works.

not working with one package file it remain at setup connection

1st goto download mode & flash via Odin. U still HAVE download mode. Download mode doesn't vanish in such a case.
This screen in the pic appears when u access download mode & without proper flashing, trying to switch on the phone again. So it shows that symbol.
Do as what I said in the post above.

while using odin
after some process
it get stuck on setup connection

Have u made it to download mode or not yet?

done

Which firmware r u flashing? Use Odin v4.42 & filename of ops file should be exactly as BENI_v1.0.ops
I guess u need a froyo(4pkg) firmware.
I tried searching for nearly an hour but couldn't find.

Found the package file
Plz tell me the procedure to flash

Strictly follow the steps mentioned below:
Remember: Don't ever use firmwares made for GT-S5670i/GT-S5670L...etc. on devices like GT-S5670 (no appended alphabet here), coz it will brick ur phone.
First of all,
* Install samsung mobile driver on pc.
* Uninstall Kies(if installed); In some cases, it's also required to disable antivirus/firewall,...etc.(I don't know why).
* Preferably use laptop(for power backup & also it has good usb ports) with XP/Windows7(not Windows8)
* Goto "download mode" in the phone. Then connect it to pc.
* Open Odin v4.42.exe as administrator & you'll see "COM PORT MAPPING" box turned yellow(indicating that you've connected the phone to pc).
Please note that as soon as u select OPS file in the OPS field of Odin, the Odin straightaway displays the device model number in its title bar, regardless of whether ur phone is physically connected to pc or not.
Now set the files(according to which firmware u have) as follows:
For firmware containing 4 files(Note the beginning filenames)
OPS: BENI_v1.0.ops
BOOT: APBOOT_S5670.....
PHONE: MODEM_S5670.....
PDA: CODE_S5670.....
CSC: CSC_5670.....
Click "Start" & wait till Odin says "PASS". Don't touch ur phone during the process. Ur phone will reboot during the process & that's perfectly normal.
OR for firmware containing one file(Note the beginning filename)
Tick "One Package" field(below com port).
Now set the files as follows:
OPS: BENI_v1.0.ops
One Package: S5670...._HOME.tar.md5
Click "Start" & wait till Odin says "PASS". Don't touch ur phone during the process. Ur phone will reboot during the process & that's perfectly normal.
* Now ur firmware would have been flashed successfully. If ur phone bootloops(showing bootanimation again'n'again) then goto RECOVERY MODE(Press & hold Home+Power keys) & select "wipe data/factory reset" & "wipe cache partition"(Use "Volume up/down" to navigate up/down & "Home button" to select & "Power button" to go back to previous menu). Then select "reboot system now".
*DONE!!
Ur phone would be 100% alright now.
Please follow the sequence exactly as mentioned. U will not find any other way than this one. Although Screenshots are messy...I'm on mobile rite now
Hope this helps...!!

Using window xp but while running through administrater it ask for password but I have never done something like that
Sent from my A13-MID using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Enter ur login password :- The password that u use when the pc is turned/powered ON.
& if u don't know of such thing then ask it from the system administrator.

Can u plzzz tell me the procedure
Sent from my A13-MID using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I guess u don't know. So, only thing u can do(if u use others' pc/laptop) is kindly request them to allow u admin rights. Tell them ur phone's life is hanging in the balance & only they can save it.
Btw procedure is simple...U just need to enter admin username(if asked) & password in the "Open As Admin" dialog box of Odin.
And if u have ur own pc then u shouldn't have faced this problem.

my big bro have an laptop and when it boot it doesnot need password but while using run as adminstrator it is asking for a password

the only need is to make this phone a portable router i am having 2 pices of fit

The flashing process just sits at downloading MIBIB and doesn't go anywhere, I have tried waiting for as long as 30mins, now the mobile doesn't even start with the previous firmware. When started it shows an icon like connection problem between a computer and mobile right after the initial samsung logo and sits there. Please help

[Q] S3 working with tmobile but need help changing baseband

Hey everyone,
I recently was given a Verizon galaxy s3 I want to use it with tmobile. I used these steps
a) Download Samsung Drivers if you do not already have them. It is an Exe file: DOWNLOAD
b) Run what you just downloaded, to install the drivers.
c) Download the ODIN3 Software, this software lets you flash (which means write to the hardware of your computer which is normally not possible) your phone. The file you are downloading is compressed, which means you need to first uncompress it. DOWNLOAD
d) Extract (Uncompress) the folder you just downloaded, and run ODIN3 which will be one of the files inside the folder you just extracted.
NOTE ODIN3 is an Executable File, which means you do not install it, you just click on it to run it.
e) Now we need to download the file VRALEC Bootchain. This file will be used by to allow us to flash (using the ODIN3 software) a customized recovery image on to your phone. DOWNLOAD
NOTE: What an image is, is simply a snap shot of a harddrive, sort to speak. Someone who has advanced knowledge of the Android OS, created a snap shot of their Phone "Harddrive" (firmware) so that others could simply replace their current Android OS, with the customized one.
f) Turn off your phone. HOLD DOWN the Volume Down Key, Home Key, and the POWER down key. As soon as the phone Vibrates release the POWER button only. Once the ODIN Screen comes up, release the other two buttons and hit the Volume UP key.
g) Now connect your phone to your computer using your USB Cable.
h) Now on your computer, bring up ODIN3 and click on PDA, this will bring up a file selector. You want to select the VRALEC Bootchain you just downloaded (VRALEC.bootchain.tar.md5 for example).
WARNING: DO NOT CLICK ANY CHECK-BOXES, YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR PHONE.
NOTE: After you select the file, the box next to the PDA button should now be populated with the location of the file: C:\Users\yourname\Downloads\VRALEC.bootchain.tar.md5.
i) Now locate the Start button, located below the PDA button.
WARNING: DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE OR TURN IT OFF DURING THIS PROCESS.
NOTE: Once it is complete, your phone will restart.
j) After your phone restarts, go back to ODIN3 and click the Reset button, it is located right next to the Start button.
k) Unplug your phone and then turn it off, and finally take the back cover off.
l) We need to get back to the ODIN mode. Turn off your phone (if its not off already). Push and hold down the Volume Down Button, Home Button, and the POWER Button. As soon as the phone Vibrates release the Power Button only. Once the ODIN Screen comes up, release the other two buttons and hit the Volume UP Button.
m) Once you are in ODIN Mode connect your phone again to your computer
n) Now you need to download ClockworkMod Touch Recovery 6.0.2.3 (a recover image that you will use to replace your current Android OS with a Unlocked one). DOWNLOAD
o) After you download it, bring up the ODIN3 software again, and this time you want to UNCHECK Auto-Reboot. This is very important, after you uncheck it, the only option that should be CHECKED is the F.Rest Time option.
p) Now click on the Bootloader button and select the Clockwork recovery image we downloaded at step n. (CWM6023TouchVZW.tar.md5 for example)
NOTE: After you select the recovery image, the box next to the should display the location of the; C:\Users\yourname\Downloads\CWM6023TouchVZW.tar.md5
q) Now locate and click the Start button again, located at the bottom of the ODIN3 Panel
WARNING: DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE OR TURN IT OFF DURING THIS PROCESS.
r) After it has finished running, disconnect your phone, turn it off, and take out the battery. Leave the battery out for at least 20 seconds.
s) We need to now turn on the Phone into Recovery. To get into Recovery mode follow these steps; Turn off your phone (if its not off already). Push and hold down the Volume UP Button, Home Button, and the POWER Key. As soon as the phone Vibrates release the Power Button only.
NOTE Once you see "Recovery Mode..." at the top left of the screen you can let go of the buttons.
t) Once in recover mode, select reboot system now, after you click it, it will ask you if you want to disable recovery flash. YOU MUST SELECT "Yes - Disable recovery flash"
ATTENTION : The following step is very important, you must select Yes - Disable recovery flash
u) We need to now download the Super User Package to grant us Root. DOWNLOAD
NOTE: This package is a compressed zip file. DO NOT UNCOMPRESS THIS FILE, YOU NEED IT TO BE COMPRESSED.
v) Connect your phone back to your computer, and copy the zip file you just downloaded in step u, to your phone's External SD card. (SuperSU_Bootloader_FIXED.zip for example, will be the name of the file that you will copy over)
w) We now need to get into Recovery mode again. To get into Recovery mode follow these steps; Turn off your phone. Push and hold down the Volume UP Button, Home Button, and the POWER Key. As soon as the phone Vibrates release the Power Button only.
NOTE Once you see "Recovery Mode..." at the top left of the screen you can let go of the buttons.
x) Once you are in recovery mode, select "- install zip from sdcard"
y) Then click on "- choose zip from external sdcard"
z) Now find the file you downloaded and copied over. (SuperSU_Bootloader_FIXED.zip for example) and select it.
NOTE: if you can't see the file, you may need to scroll down, to find it.
Sigh... this is a long process.... I am past step z!
z1) Click on "- Yes - Install SuperSU_Bootloader_FIXED.zip"
z2) After its finished, a you will see the menu again. Click on "++++++ Go Back+++++++"
z3) Click on "- reboot system now" your system should now be restarting.
We are not done yet, we now need to add the Tmobile APNs to our phone, however, the phone is set up to prevent you to do this, because of greed, corruption and a broken system.
Here are the original instructions to allow APNs unlocking in its entirety : Full Guide
z4) go to the Play Store, then search for and install BuildProp Editor
z5) Once it is installed, open it up and it will as you to grant the application superuser access, click on "GRANT"
z6) click the phone Menu Button, and when the menu comes up, click on Edit
z7) Scroll all the way to the botton, and add these two lines to it:
ril.sales_code=LOL
ro.csc.sales_code=LOL
z8) After entering the new in the two new lines, click on Save Icon located top right. It will pop up a message near the bottom center that will let you know it was saved.
z9) After you save it, restart your phone.go to
•Settings
•More Settings
•Mobile Networks
•Access Point Names
Here are the original instructions to set up Tmobile APN in its entirety : Full Guide
z10) Click on the phones Menu Button and click on "+ New APN"
z11) Click on Name, set it "T-Mobile" then click OK
z12) Click on APN, and set it to "epc.tmobile.com" then click OK
z13) Click on MMSC and set it to "mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" then Click OK
z14) Click on the phones Menu Button and click on "Save"
z15) Click on "T-Mobile" and then restart your phone.
THATS IT! We are done... man
to root and unlock the bootloader and shows my phone is rooted but in step t I did not get the "Yes - Disable recovery flash" message. I did continue to the rest of the steps and it shows that my phone is rooted but I still can not stick to tmobiles towers and I keep getting a pop up asking if I want to switch to global. Does not clicking "Yes - Disable recovery flash" make the difference to making it work with tmobile? If so how can I fix this. Also, I still can not send or receive picture messages. I have the Samsung galaxy s3 i535 4.1.2. baseband version i535vrbmf1. I hope someone can help me

I have and still nothing. I have also tried to network unlock Via secret menu umts, debug screen, phone control, network lock but after that their is no options. Anyway to manually change the bandbase?
The baseband can be changed by flashing a different modem, I believe. What do you want to change it to?
The messages issue sounds like an APN issue to me.

Flashing tip for android 5.0 and up

Well i flashed android too many times now and always got lags/bugs/forceclosures/etc. But i started to wonder why, so i watched closely when i needed to flash my device again after firmware froze/broke.
And got really dumbstruck to see that the latest android mods just seemed to flash some kind of script instead of full firmware(at least for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3110?). So i did a full cleanup of device and with help of PC using ODIN flashed the latest known LEGAL firmware and redone evry step from beginning to end. So here is steps i used.
1. Download to PC all necesary files for flashing/modding device.
2. CHARGE UR DEVICE FULL POWER AND THEN SET IT TO DOWNLOAD MODE.
3. First flashed the LEGAL Firmware and after reboot let it run so u can set the settings of device (DO NOT STARTUP ANY SERVICES LIKE WIFI/ACCOUNT/USE NAME/ETC BUT SKIP THOSE PARTS) and set date/time correctly.
Then set ur DEVELOPER MODE to active but DONT give it root access.
Now u should have basic core install. Now go back into DOWNLOAD MODE.
4. Using Pc Odin now flash the AUTO-ROOT from chainfire? and let reboot fully till device starts up, check if ROOT app is shown in settings menu and install backup script, then copy/paste ur previously downloaded files/apk's/etc to ur device's EXT-SDCARD. When done set device into DOWNLOAD MODE again.
5. Using PC ODIN flash the FIRST RECOVERY FILE and let device reboot.
6. Well thats the PC PART of this tutorial?, now u can unplug ur data/power cord. Now set ur device to RECOVERY SETTINGS.
7. Now this might sound weird to u but just follow lead?
Select the wipe options and wipe ONLY the DALVIC/ART option, then use settings install from external sd-card to flash the SECOND RECOVERY FILE and restart device into RECOVERY again.
8. Now u should have working RECOVERY?. Now use the additional wipe settings to wipe the first four options called DALVIC, SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE, DO NOT WIPE ANYTHING ELSE. Now RESTART device into RECOVERY mode again, dont worry about popup saying NO OS installed but continue, next popup u REALLY MUST set or u will LOOSE root access. Wait till device has restarted RECOVERY MODE.
9. Now u install ONLY the ROM FILE and then reboot device normally.
After restart let device start-up to set settings and as mentioned in line 3 skip wifi/account/set name/etc and set time/date. check device settings and reset DEVELOPER MODE, hmm lol almost forgot this ? but set device into DOWNLOAD MODE and connect to PC again and using ODIN flash the RECOVERY FILE again so its properly installed. Now reboot into RECOVERY MODE again.
10. Install the GAPPS FILE now then install the supersu update file and reboot device normally again.
11. Wait till device starts up fully and DONT start anything else then the device settings ADD ACCOUNT, u will set the wifi/account/etc in the progress. ALMOST DONE NOW?
12. LAST STEP IS THIS..... RESTART UR DEVICE 1X INTO RECOVERY MODE BF DOING ANYTHING THAT ADDS DATA AND MAKE AN BACKUP OF DEVICE THAT IS SMALL IN SIZE AND CLEAN AS AIR?
After u backed up ur device u reboot into normal mode. After device fully started do an RESTART DEVICE 2x so all data/info/etc is stored properly. Seems device needs 2x restart for any action done that gives a lot of data, like after installing apps/games/apk's it seems to run smoother after done those 2x reboot somehow??? Hope someone can confirm if thats true?. Well now u should have an smooth running device i hope???
