Mega is S*** - Sony Xperia L

Mega is the most st***d website to upload/download files from. It always stucks! But I don't understand why many developers in xda upload their files to this site. Mediafire is far better.

Really Xperia L related
MEGA offers unlimited upload/download speeds
Install the plugin if you get stuck (Firefox | Chrome)

I think... MediaFire has a lot of ads... Mediafire doesn't have nothing of that, you can pause the downloads, etc...
But that's not related to XL...

[App]Mediafire App for Android

You can use this app to search and download All Mediafire files which are indexed and are available publicly through the web.
In simple terms u can search and download anything hosted on Mediafire.
market://details?id=com.arv.mediafyre
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.arv.mediafyre
If u like it please rate and share it with your friends.
Any problems? suggestions, u can post it here or contact me via pm or through market.
EDIT: Sorry guys mediafire practically has no files left to search, So no point in re-uploading another version.
Edit: Mediafire has deleted most of the files, so this app is no more.
Well I thought it was great.....
Regards
Well thx.. Its easier for me to search now. And its almost the same as 4shared

This actually makes things easier. Thanks for that one
Worked fine for me, did just what it's supposed to. 5/5
I'll give it a shot. I choose mediafire over most file sharing site anyway.

Works great dude! Just downloaded it and I think I'll be using it a lot here in the next week.....THANKS again!!
Thanks guys that's all i needed to hear although i have a question
Should i add 4shared results to the search too or just leave the app the way it is.
Its good as it is but if you did add 4shared results try to limit it to 1 or the other. I wouldn't want to get 4shared results in my mediafire search
I can't download properly from mediafire from the start, with my phone. Always download a few kb and "download complete". Anyone had this problem?
Anyway the app works snappy, saves time in the searching. Good app.

I think you are right I'll probably do another app for 4shared, the one they have right now is pretty much their site in browser but again mine is not too different either.

well the only thing i can say from your comment is maybe your browser is not handling the request properly, u didn't say which phone u have either so I cant really make out anything off it but its guaranteed that if u try another rom or if u reinstall your existing Rom the problem sud go away. If u don't want to do that u sud probably post Ur logcat here. maybe something in there will give me or u a clue about whats going on or what's the problem.
And don't forget to rate the app
This app will ocme in handy. Thankls!
@consegregate Hey i just experienced this problem where i wasn't able to download a big file, turns out it was a just due to lack of memory, it was a common mistake a lot of other people were making too, So u should check that just in case.
@Rigy73 -- could you update the link in your OP, it no longer goes to your app. This one should work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arv.mediafyre

hey great app.. thanks for that.. but i found a big problem.. it doesnt show file size before starting download in search results.. then when the download starts.. it doesnt give option to cancel it.. also it would be nice to be able to resume download.. as mediafire allows it..

Best Free File Sharing Website?

I know this is a bit off topic but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a site to share my .EXE file (or .ZIP) with others? I don't mind creating an account to upload my file(s), what I DON'T want is for others to have to do anything to download it. I don't want them to have to sign up, or be added to my friends list, because I have no idea who will be downloading the file.
Thank you!

Probably one of the quickest websites for uploading and a VERY accessible site for those downloading what you are uploading is dev-host.org!!
AGAIN...MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!
Dropbox, Sugarsynch, and most painless of all is Google Docs. Upload, set to share and give friends share url. (1GB file size limit).

It is possible to upload every filetype or is google checking for docs?
+1 dropbox
I like mediafire, cause there's no waiting for people who are downloading the file.
Depending on how many people download your file from your public dropbox folder, they will block it if you get over a certain quota of traffic.

[APP] Nzb Leecher - First free nzb downloader on android

Hi all,

Its called nzb leech, search for it on android market
Cheers!

+1.. almost everything is in rar...
you guys are talking about reparing using the par2 files not unrar right? Anyways that feature is not currently there. Actually neither is unrar
But I agree it would be handy.
Very nice and easy. I would, however, like to see an option to pause, to have a collapsable display of the downloadlist so we don't see every single file being downloaded (handy if you have several things queued). Also, an option to delete the downloaded files after unraring. Would save space and time for the user.
I still use this App. Thanks god przemeknzb still working on it. There is still no competitor.
After a App reboot (3 years ago?) i bought/donate it again.

Firefox Alpha armv6

Firefox Alpha armv6
Disclaimer:
I do not take credit for this browser i did not develop it credits should go straight to mozilla for delivering there browser to armv6 devices.
Description:
The firefox alpha browser is not compatible with all of the current plugins available for the stable firefox browser that is already available on the market. Compatibility checking is based on the version number. After playing around with this browser while its still in alpha i find it to be quite stable and good for daily use.
Here's the OFFICIAL Mozilla file at Bugzilla for getting official support for ARMv6 devices.

1) open the browser and press menu
2) press more
3) press settings
4) press about nightly
5) check for updates
Nice, it works quite fast. So far I was using Dolphin Browser as a replacement for the default one, but now I will be using this.
They know how to use the default mobile view?

[WANTED] * Perfect Downloader *

Challenge: THE BEST downloader app you know!
Reason: Downloading stuff on a crappy data plan.
Fed up with: Broken, unresumable downloads.
Want to avoid: Spending more money on data plan.
I'm particularly looking for an app that is able to run over night on a crappy data plan and make unresumable downloads resumable. Furthermore, it should be able to handle links from multiple websites.
All awesome suggestions will be rewarded!
Re: [WANTED] Perfect Downloader

Honestly guys, has anybody used all these and found out the result of the face-off from ADM, TDM, Loader Droid and Download Blazer? Where's their comparison?
If jDownloader would be available as an app, I'd INSTANTLY buy it. I LOVE it on my linux monster.
Loader Droid. I'm using it. Never lets me down. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.zloy.android.downloader&hl=en
Pros:
1. Divided up to 12 connections.
2. Support resumable links.
3. Autodetect if the link is not resumable (i.e. 4shared and Zippyshare).
4. Integrated browser.
5. Interceptor (works only with stick browser).
Cons:
1.
