Hello Guys,Am new In Xda And This Is my First Post. I am Going To Explain The Procedure To root Qmobile A65 Or any other MT6572 Device And Installing Cwm Recovery To instal custom Rom.I am Working On Windows 7.
First of all Download All the attached files.
~MtkDroidTools v2.5.3
~SP Flash Tool 3.1352.01 (5.1352.01)
~MT65xx Preloader Vcom Drivers
~Qmobile A65 Or your Device USB Drivers
=} First Of all Connect Your Device With Pc And Install The Device Drivers Downloaded And Extracted Earlier.
=} Turn Of Your Cell And Now Pull Battery Out Of the Cell Phone And Connect it With Pc Via Usb Cable/
=} Go To Device Manager,Now Put Battery Back In cell Phone,You will See MT65xx Preloader In Device List.
=} Right Click On it And Click Update Driver And Select The Mt65xx Preloader Vcom Drivers And Click Install.
=} Now Power On the Device And Open MtkDroid Tools And Create Scatter File.
=} Open Flash Tool And Load Scatter File Now Select Readback Tab And click Add.
=} Download Notpad++ And Open Scatter File In it.
=} Copy the linear_start_addr of Preloader And Paste It In Readback Block Start Add That Appear After Double Clicking The Line And Then
Saving The ROM_0.
=} Now Scroll Down And Find the Fat Partition In Notepad++ Copy Its linear_start_addr And Paste It In Length Click OK.
=} Click ReadBack Button And Connect The Phone Without Battery,Insert Battery Flash Tool Will Start Dumping Your Room.
=} It Will Take 40-50Minutes And Will Generate A file Of 2-3Gb.
=} Now Open Mtkdroid tools And Power on Phone,Go to root,backup,recovery tab and Click "to Process the Rom_from Flash tool.
=} Select the file ROM_0,It will Unpack The System Files And Ask you To Either you want to make cwm recovery or not,Select Yes.
=} Open Spflash tool And Load same scatter file And Go to Download Tab Double Click On recovery And Select The Recovery Img,
Do not Select factory_NON modified_recovery img.
=} Double Click on Bootimg And Select The _boot_patched_140614-084012.img file In the Same Folder As for recovery.
=} Check Both Recovery And Bootimg Boxes.Click Download.
=} Power Off Your Phone And Connect It with Pc.Download Will Start,And Install Custom Recovery.
=} Download Superuser.zip And Place it In root Of Sdcard,On the phone in Recovery Mood And Select Install Zip From Sd card.
=} Select superuser.zip And Follow The Directions To install it.
=} Now You Should Be Rooted And CWM Recovery Should Be Installed And You Can Install Custom Rooms.

Hi, I am trying to flash a cwm recovery for blu dash 5.0 ( a mediatek based device MT6572). There is no official cwm recovery for my device however I found a recovery on XDA developers that may work with MT6572 devices. Here is my phone info:
Model No.: BLU DASH 5.0
Android version: 4.2.2
Baseband ver: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V1
Kernel ver: 3.4.5
Build No.: BLU-D410a-V08-Generic 17-10-2013.
I downloaded recoverycwm-evos7.IMG to my sdcard. When I went to my sdcard and clicked on it, I was automatically transferred into ROM installer app by jrummy with the option to to flash it. But before I did anything, the flash script read:

After this I need to find a custom ROM that can be installed or flashed on my phone because there is no official custom ROM yet.
This is one of the most useful topics I have seen for my mobile. I have tried everything to install CWM for my phone model (Champion Mobile NM850A), an unsupported device for Rom Manager's CWM downloader. searching for MT6572 Clockworkmod lead me to this topic and really helped me aswell as it can also help to people with different MT6572 devices. thank you!

Rooting & recovery mmx a80
first off all you need to download txt file in attachments download file form link where i provided in txt file
1.connect phone USB DEBUG mode
2.search for device manager
3.find you'r device right click on it after that click on driver tab
4.update driver choose browse my computer
5.let me pick bla bla after that click on have disk
6.browse to drivers/vcom drivers/
7.after that switch off you'r phone and start sp flash tool load scatter file in sp flash tool/android
8.tick recovery and bowse to CWM.img connect phone without battery click on download in flash tool and insert battery
9.after finish download disconnect phone hold pwr+ vol up and install zip from sd card and select superuser zip

firstly dissable ur antivirus...
1)download drivers available at micromax's site
2)Connect your device on your PC and be sure that USB Debugging is enabled.
Your PC will ask on how will you install the driver, choose “Install from a specific location” then navigate to where you had downloaded earlier.
3)After drivers has been already installed, open super one click.
4)Click the “Root” button.
Then rooting will start automatically....

Here's how to get Clockworkmod recovery
with SP Flash Tool:
1. Download SP Flash Tool.
2. Download MT6573_Android_scatter.txt.
3. Download a45recovery-cwm.zip and extract it.
4. Extract SPF Tool.zip and Run
Flash_tool.exe from there.
5. Click File->Open Scatter-loading file and
select the MT6573_Android_scatter.txt you
downloaded.
6. Now uncheck everything except
RECOVERY . Click on recovery and select
a45recovery-cwm.img you downloaded.
7. Now turn off your Micromax A45,
remove battery and put it back( DONT
switch it back on).
8. Press Download in the SP Flash Tool
window, then When the countdown starts,
connect your phone to PC.
9. After it's done, disconnect the phone,
remove battery and put it back. Boot the

Method 1 : Root required Very easy
1. Download CWM recovery.img and recovery manager from HEREhttp://d-h.st/6AP now Copy CWM recovery.img in SD card keep in root of sd card not in any folder, now install the recovery manager.apk normally
3. Now open the recovery manager app
4. Click on recovery in app menu.
5. There click on install recoveryD
D COM
6. Then click on the recovery image name of ‘recovery.img’
7. Let the app install the recovery. after it done a message will show.
current recovery : unrecognized…. just ignore it.
That’s all now you have installed your CWM recovery

Note: If you get any error in SP Flash Tool, then recheck your MTK drivers installation or manually install them through device manager.

INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL USB DRIVERS

5.Connect phone to your pc(with battery not inserted)
6.Now quickly under Port (com&lpt) there'll be a Preloader USB VCOM poping up and suddenly goes off before it goes away right click on it click update driver software.
7.Select browse my computer for driver software.
8.Select let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
9.Select mobile device and select MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM.

INSTALLING CWM RECOVERY
1.Extract the sp flastool and open flash_tool.exe
2.click on scatter loading and select the mtk6577 scatter file.
3.click on recovery and select the recovery.img which you downloaded.
4.now click download and click yes and now connect your phone to pc by usb cable.
5.flashing process starts and a green circle pops up indicating the success.
6.disconnect your phone go to cwm recovery by holding vol+and power button at the same time.
7.Select Install zip from sdcard and install Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
8.Donot reboot your phone now and install su-bin-3.1.1-arm-signed.zip
9.reboot your phone.

First we need to flash CWM Recovery using the SPFlash Tool.
0. Install driver on pc before doing any thing.
1. Extract recovery and scatter file in the same folder on desktop.
2. Start SPFlash Tool and select scatter file from the extracted folder.
[Note in SPFlash Tool only recovery option should be selected.]
3. Shutdown the phone and remove battery.
4. In SPFlash Tool click on Download button and then connect you phone, wait for a few sec and then you'll see the green which means CWM recovery has been flashed.
Second Rooting Micromax Viva A72
1. Download Supersu flashable zip to the sdcard of you phone.
2. Download Mtkdroid tool and extract it on pc.
3. Connect you phone to pc. (Note - debugging option should be selected before connecting phone to pc)
4. Open extracted folder and navigate to adb folder, here press Shift+Ctrt+right click of mouse now select "Open command Prompt here".
3. In the command prompt enter following command without quote "adb device" and then "adb reboot recovery", wait for a few secs. you phone will reboot to recovery.
4. flash supersu zip through CWM Recovery and reboot.
You have successfully Rooted your Micromax Viva A72 and installed CWM Recovery.:good:
