I,m using Galaxy Y S5360. previous i flashed the custom rom, hyperion without backing up my IMEI number. i know it was very stupid of me, and for that i cant make calls. its a huge problem. So i thought of going back to the stock rom, flashing with odin. but then i realise that usb port of my phone is damaged. Its not reading the data cable connection as one instead it starts charging. its not because of any driver problem, coz ive tried all. its a hardware problem. So please can anyone help me to give an alternative way to flash stock rom via reccovery mode. PLEASE help needed. the thought of bricking my scares the hell out of me.
Installing through recovery mode just need to transfer stock rom to your xtrnl sd card thats why you have to use data cable

Update: I did a factor reset and that still didn't work. This really sucks...PLEASE HELP ME!!!
I recently installed Android 2.3.4 manually to my Nexus S (I9020T). Now I can no longer get USB connection to my computer. It charges fine, just no USB. I've manually installed multiple times and this is the first time I've had a problem. I searched through the forums and no one else seems to be having this issue. Without USB connection I can't even reinstart the ROM and all my files and pics are trapped on the phone...PLEASE HELP!!!

I see now that it stands for ClockworkMod. Not really familiar with these kinds of things. I do manual updates but that's about as adventurous as I usually get. I can't stand the thought of bricking my phone.
I rooted my phone with superoneclick. Now I have several apps that ran before but now will start but then get stuck. I unrooted which didn't help, then reset to factory defaults and that didn't help either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps as well. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
Could try going back to stock with any of these treads, they are pre-rooted so you wont have to soc root them.. even when soc rooting has never made me any trouble...

Remember to flash via BACK usb ports or you can probably fail at flashing from a front port if the usb overpowers(or something like that)
Relax is practically impossible to brick the Infuse just need to reflash using a back usb port for safety.
Hope it gets solved.
Thank you very much, Odin didn't work but Heimdall did.
Ladies and Gents, please kindly assist. I am using samsung galaxy ace gt s5830, and rooted it and not long ago juz flash a custom rom, now that if i move my apps to sd card, unless games, which so far no prob, those opera, whatsapp and other things i put in sd will either freeze or the phone will just restart if i run them. If i put them in the phone memory then there would be no problem. Can anyone please advise how should this be solved? The internal memory is too few to put most apps in the internal, before i flash the custom rom, there are no such problem. May anyone please help me? Is flashing back it to stock rom will help, if yes, then how may i do it? i saw some thread about using odin, but then are there any ways or things i can install which i just have to put in my sd card then reboot to recovery mode and flash it? just like how i flash the custom rom? all helps are appreciated. Thanks and regards, Have a nice day.

The problems you have, IMO, are from your custom ROM. You can try another ROM, don't forget to read others' comments.
If you still want to go back to Stock ROM, you can use Odin:
1. You turn off the phone. Enter download mode (Volume down + Home + Power). When a cell in Odin turns yellow, it's ready.
2. Stock ROMs often come with 1 or 3 files, if 1, put it in PDA, if 3, put them in PDA, CSC and Phone.
3. Press start and wait...
It's easy after you do it several times.
Good luck.

I flash droid ace version2 that time. at first still OK, but then there are some problems and so I reflash the rom, then it starts to be like this, I even try the droidace version 2.1 but problem still exists. as before won't like that, so I thought it may be my setting prob or something like that. are you using ace too? anyone can suggest some nice custom rom for galaxy ace?
phone freezing after installing custom rom
i have installed foxhound and the codec rom, after rebooting when the phone starts it freezes after some time,i have tried re flashing the rom but its stil the same, how do i fix it?
I just took my sister's tablet to get a new charging cable, and they refuse to fix it with CyanogenMod. For some reason, ODIN won't work, and I don't want to go through the flashing/rooting proccess again. Does anyone have a rooted ROM backup, Nandroid, or flashable stock rom I could use? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Take a look at MicroDelta: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225784
For P3113 you need to flash P3110-Rom and after that flash P3113 Update

What problem do you get with Odin?
Sent from my BlackBerry 9320 using Tapatalk
Well, the tablet has a charging/data port issue, which is why I'm taking it in for repair. I tried bringing it in with CM10 though and was told that the warranty wasn't valid with custom firmware. I lost the backup I made, so I resorted to a flashable .zip.
Sorry, wrong thread. I was testing CM11 for Bionic.
Hi all, I'm a newbie so I'm really unfamiliar with this stuff
I have a Galaxy S3 i9305 that used to be rooted and installed with Cyanogenmod 10.1, but recently I decided to start anew and formatted everything in cwm recovery. Then, I flashed samsung stock rom android 4.3 (I9305XXUEML8) and gapps for 4.3, but the rebooting suddenly seems longer and the phone cannot detect a sim card, hence, no network. Moreover, there is no notification whatsoever when I plug the device into the com, except showing the charging notification light. It can also hang randomly after I turn the screen on. The phone is not rooted anymore and has stock recovery. I have a feeling this is because I formatted /modem or /tombstone. The phone is not very old so I believe it isn't a problem with the card slot or anything. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks a lot if anyone can help!
Try reflashing stock rom, it might work
And if didn't, try to flash pit file for your device
Hit Thanks if I helped sent from my SM-T211
try to flash your baseband probably could work
