Hi all, I'm a newbie so I'm really unfamiliar with this stuff
I have a Galaxy S3 i9305 that used to be rooted and installed with Cyanogenmod 10.1, but recently I decided to start anew and formatted everything in cwm recovery. Then, I flashed samsung stock rom android 4.3 (I9305XXUEML8) and gapps for 4.3, but the rebooting suddenly seems longer and the phone cannot detect a sim card, hence, no network. Moreover, there is no notification whatsoever when I plug the device into the com, except showing the charging notification light. It can also hang randomly after I turn the screen on. The phone is not rooted anymore and has stock recovery. I have a feeling this is because I formatted /modem or /tombstone. The phone is not very old so I believe it isn't a problem with the card slot or anything. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks a lot if anyone can help!
Try reflashing stock rom, it might work
And if didn't, try to flash pit file for your device

I am not a noob to rooting and flashing, but I am a noob to this forum. I recently bought a phone very cheap, a galaxy s t959v t-mobile. It had already been rooted and flashed with Cyanogenmod on JB 4.1.2. There were several problems with this phone including the keyboard would not pop up and it does not connect to a pc, whatsoever. So I loaded Slim Bean to an sd card and flashed it over to the phone. Now the WiFi toggle switch is grayed out, I can not turn it on at all. I have tried flashing a new rom, and so far from my research, there are only three for 4.1.2 jb on the Galaxy S T959v. None of these helped, and I have tried to flash the kernel but I can not get the kernel for the rom in a individual download. But the kernel that comes with cyanogenmod 10 titled JB Poop, which I believe is from the Proton kernel hasnt reverted it back either when I flash CM10. I have tried everything I know to do, have reformatted the system cleared all dalvik and caches to no avail. Can someone please help me with this situation!?! I have put countless hours into this and I can't seem to do it. And since it can't connect to a PC, I can't flash the stock firmware to it. And I know it wont connect, I have all the correct drivers, even have another Galaxy S I flash all the time also an S3 and S2 Tablet. I have even made a jig cable to bring it into download mode since the button combo to bring it into DL mode is disabled. But the pc nor any application on the pc never recognizes it, Odin, ADT, nothing recognizes it. But if someone can please just help with getting the correct kernel/module or technique that may fix this WiFi issue it would be greatly appreciated. Specs are Samsung Galaxy S T959V 4.1.2. I have a Samsung GT 10.1 P7500, and I have rooted my tablet, and flashed rooms before.
And I flashed a JB rom, This one. The rom was great and all, but then when I wanted to flash back to ICS, something happened and my tab got "lost" it's internal storage. So when I tried to access the root folders on my tablet (Using file manager) it says "no internal storage found" and when i tried to access using computer, the GT icon shows up (Like a USB), but when i click inside, there is nothing there. No internal storage.
SO after a while, I thought I had to install a rom using Odin. Which I did. I went to Sammobile.com and downloaded their ICS rom and flashed it using Odin. And it WORKED! Everything was back to normal... EXCEPT for one thing... my 3G connection...
And I have flashed different roms thinking that I may have flashed a P7510 rom... SO I flashed: This ICS rom and also This Jelly Bean Rom
I made SURE I downloaded the P7500 ROM.
***And for those that may ask, my sim card is active. I tried it on 2 phones, and they both reads the sim card. And if questions about the unlocking and all, the tablet was bought in the same country as the sim. Plus I have used the sims (And many other sims from the same country and they all worked.) so it shouldn't be the unblocking... [But I may stand under correction]***
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with the tablet? Was it something I did or is the sim reader in the tablet broken (Which i hope not...)

Okay so I've been all over this site and linked to many other articles to proceed and hope to fix my issue but nothing seems to be working for me. To get you guys up to speed it's a SGH-T959V and I started out with having jelly bean 4.0 on it then upgraded to 4.2.2 which I occurred an issue with that and had to revert to getting gingerbread flashed back on. It's been a little while since I've done so and kinda forgot how I did it. I've read about using odin and heimdall but no luck getting my phone to connect with either of those programs.
Recently upgraded to 4.4.2 slimkat which was working good (still some bugs, since it's weekly) and had TWRP recovery on it. Problem started as I was starting the process to flash the new update of 4.4.2 and I created a back up and recovery for it prior to flash but now its gone. During the flash of the new update it had occurred some error and now went to Semaphore CWM Recovery v6.0.4.5 and has a bunch of errors to it and I cant even format or mount an sd card. I've tried using a couple different sd cards same issues. I can boot into download mode no issues.
Anyone be able to help me out? I am pretty stumped on this one and have tried many things to get it to work. Also are there any programs I could use besides odin and heimdall to flash a different version of CWM or TWRP via usb?

Hey guys never mind, I already figured out what I was doing wrong. All I needed to do what open a file I downloaded in this thread to get it back to stock gingerbread. Now I am going to do some more flashing to get it back to 4.4.2 slimkat. Thanks
So i was using elixir for a while and it was getting buggy and slow and i haven't seen that much support from the developer so i decided to switch to xTraSmooth
Upon loading the rom up i decided i wanted a fresh slate and none off the apps or app data from previous roms
So i (Dont put the rom.zip back onto the phone) and wipe everything. After that i had no usb access. So i fiddled around with uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers until sideload would work
i sideloaded the rom and booted into it. First red flag was that i had no sim card. After i went through the welcome screen i noticed i had no soft keys, no top bar, no simcard, no wifi, no nothing.
I looked into the settings>about phone and noticed i have no baseband version so i think there is no radio?
EDIT: I had usb access after so i loaded the rom normally and flashed the zip. Same result.
If anyone could tell me whats wrong and help me get a clean xTraSmooth version on my phone that would be very much appreciated

Try to flash again and also flash the radio. ZIP is with the folders of the developer of this rom.. That might help.

Did u ever get it fixed I just got the same problem
