It seems everyone who has flashes Windows Mobile Professional 6 has the battery problem.........I Flashed almost all ROM's of different developers I am getting my Xda down on 82% only...while working on it or talking to somebody it switches off suddenly...........
I just request all ROM developers please find an solution for this problem........
Whenever I am flashing the original windows 5 ROM it works upto the 5% of
the remaining battery...........I HOPE THERE CAN BE A PROMINANT SOLUTION.
this issue has been raised many times .. its a hardware battery problem//buy new
It sounds like a problem I had, but after I replaced my battery, its gone.

Battery
Hi,
Last night I've put my battery in freezer.
This morning I took out and let it come to room temperature before charging again. It took 2.5 hours charging
Can't tell you if it worked yet but it looks good
Tell you later how long it last

i had this problem with my old battery (+3yrs old) so i got a new one just over a month ago ... the problem with WM6 is different .. the device takes about 1.5 day to drain the battery to 50% with normal usage (including wifi and bt) .. but the remaining 50% can be consumed in less than 2 hrs! .. same in charging too .. 1st 50% can be reached in less than 15 min and the remaining 50% can take around 2 hrs! .. i tend to think it's readings problem in WM6 but im not that expert.
Hi guys.. i want to share my story with my xiaomi mi3 please listen i need some help.
I had my mi3 for more than 5 months, until suddenly closed and never opened again(i tried EVERYTHING) i send it back to service they fix it by changing the mainboard, BUT when i received my mi3 back it has extremely fast battery drain, my mi3 cant handle more than 2hour screen on time(with cleared installed rom without any program/ also i tried many roms clearly installed) i have tried many times calibration apks i have tried full discharge/charge battery cycle, every time the battery life was the same...some times the battery falls from 14% to 10% immediately..so anyway i said is the battery and I CHANGED the battery with a new one..
GUESS WHAT..again screen on time maximum 2-3hours WITHOUT using it a lot only some sms/phone calls..
WTF i have to do now? what can cause the problem whaaaaat? when i bought my mi3 the battery life with heavy using it was 5-6hours screen on time, and now faiiiill..
what can i do? please tell me what i have to CHANGE again..
Maybe it is the antena that draining battery? because some times i have bad signal so is trying to find signal..(before many months when the phone was brand new i didnt have never problems with my signal)
what more can i do?

Hi guys
Just got a Galaxy S7 today, and when I first turned it on it had 61%, I started doing the setup and everything (I was out and on 4G), noticed that the phone's battery drains so fast (like 1% down every 2 minutes or less), by the time I finished the setup it was down to 40% and it was so damn hot.. I let it cool a little bit then I continued installing all my apps and doing all the updates when everything finished it was down to 20%, I said ok maybe I need to update the system software for it to be good, so I charged the device a bit while the software update gets downloaded, updated the phone and left it there for a while charging. Now it's 60% but even then when I use it just for a little bit organizing apps and getting everything ready, it drains fast and gets hot.. I have location disabled, NFC disabled, apps battery optimized, disabled all bloatware using package disabler pro..
Any solution guys? Should I just keep charging it and discharging it for a couple of days and it will get better? I don't understand since from the reviews everyone is saying that the battery life is fantastic.
thank you
Test it out for 2-3 days. If the Problem still exists try a factory reset. Good Luck

Okay I will be patient for 2 or 3 days and see of it becomes better, otherwise I'll try a factory reset.
Thank you mate
Bro i have the same problem as u you have
Did you find amy solutions its been 2nd day thanks !
Hello all, so as the titles states, i have a G930W8, bought it like 5 day ago, and it has a battery bug I think, ever since the XAC update, my phone shows up 10 hours or remaining battery, even at 100% and it drains a lot, I made a factory reset but it didn't work, before the update it showed 20+ hours, and it didn't drain that fast, now 3 hours and it's like 55%, so i wanted to know if really there is a bug or it's just me thaank you all
Do a factory reset, and the battery bug is a myth, its probably some app that is draining the battery. Download cpu spy and see if the phone is going into deep sleep, probably it isn't.
@peachpuff okay i'll do that asap, I've already done a factory reset yesterday, but is it normal 10 hours at 100% ? Where as other poeple (and even I before the update and all) get more and faar more?
No its not normal, my phone lasts 2 days before i charge it, some app must be keeping your phone up.
@peachpuff so here are the states of last 2 hours, and i charged before installing the app, and also before this bug i was in a trip, my phone wasn't charged t was like 30% or 40% and i used it all along the trip and it turned off then i charged it without turning it on, when it was 100% i turned it on and tjen i saw the 10 hours, so that's all that happened after the update. And thanks for your help
Pls update the settings to put all ur apps in power save mode.

Well, okay i've done that, will see how it will perform... hope it's not a hardware related problem

Its a known bug after the last update I think. Just restart your phone after every time you charge it.

Well that did nothing, I restarted two times and nothing, I am far from my computer right now I can't do a downgrade with odin, so I guess I have no choice than wait now

What apps did you install after doing a factory reset? Where you using maps? Try disabling gps.

Facebook messenger? Uninstall everything and start from scratch, don't install any apps for a day or two and see how it goes, there's no way the update is draining your battery, its an app that's trying to sync, or possibly one of your accounts can't sync.

Alright i will do that and we'll see what would happen, and ultimatly if the problem remains what shall I do next? (Well except a complete reinstall of the firmware with odin or a previous one, cause I can't now)

If u still have this problem which again is usually 99% an app then yes use often and either flash the U bllatfree firmware or try your firmware again.
But I do agree it's probably something syncing that either can't, or is taking forever to do or, an app misbehaving. Let us know.

Hey guys
I bought Galaxy A7 2016 one month ago .. I heard that I should charge it when it's 15% and not to charge it more than 90% .. I have read alot of articles from Google engineers speaking about that so I don't charge it until 100% more than once or twice a week .. but now my battery goes down normally until it gets 4% .. the phone shut down immediately
Please help me what to do .. it's still a new phone

Greetings and welcome to assist. I can see you have already asked this question in your rom thread here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3509237
so it may be a bug in the rom. Things you can do are
1. Install better battery stats and monitor it for 24 hours then upload your results in the thread to see what is draining the battery
2. Install a battery saving apk like Servicely or if you have xposed amplify or greenify and this will help put rogue apps to sleep
Regards
Sawdoctor
I'm on stock rom bro and I don't have root any more
I'm not talking about bad battery .. I am just saying that my last 4 percent of battery goes in 2 minutes
