Hi guys got the Excelvan ET704 tablet (phablet) it's a 3g phone tablet dual sim unlocked.
I had made a backup with MTK droid tools, and upon restore i got nothing just a black screen now,so i tried a hundred times to get something from the backups to run i flashed it 1st time with the recent backup made, and it then failed to register the usb saying unrecognized, eventually i did manage to flash only one of the earlier backups by holding volume down and pressing the reset hole at the back whilst holding volume down button.
Then i inserted the cable the flash succeeded and it said done, but on the bottom it says 29gb+4096mb unknown emmc? I know it's a 4gb rom what is going on and does anyone know where to get a rom please the model number is known to be a K7206 it's build is K7206_QSVGA_V10 an it's 1200x600 resolution a 7" tablet phone dual sim and 3g,.
Looking in mobile uncle tools said bird72_a_wet_jb3 ,other than this i am completely stuck,i have emailed excelvan but obviously it being tonight there's not going to be a reply any time soon if at all.I really could do with the firmware for the device,i tried to fromat before but it fails every time there is also no preloader file in the backup?
Here is a screenprint of a flash with the firmware i backed up and it ends with a green box after a yellow bar at the end. It's a screenshot of a flash in progress showing what i get happening as i flash it.
Excelvan ET704 recovery
I don't answer you questions but maybe I will able to help you if you or someone help me unlock my Excelvan then I can dump ROM for you.
My Excelvan ET704 is blocked by some kind of police virus.
I have no access to any settings, apps and etc..
I need to restore it to factory default but don't know how to get in recovery mode. Combinations of hardware buttons PWR +VOL UP or VOL DOWN don't work.
Someone know how to restore it or unlock?

I went to clockworkmod's website and downloaded a cyanogen mod rom that they claimed was compatible with my device... Now the thing is bricked and I can't seem to recover the original rom... Anyone have any suggestions?
What do you see when you try to boot? Please explain little bit more. I have E739 too and CM7 works good for me.
go to the telephone service
When I turn the phone on the android on the skateboard shows up and that is all you see. It stays at that screen for about give minutes and then the system crashes.
I've tried every key combo I can think of to get it to go into recovery mode and or into clockwork mode, and nothing...
I've had that problem before. You didn't wipe data, cache and dalvik cache before installing CM7..you need to get into CWM recovery.. *From T-mobile website* To perform a master reset using hardware keys, follow these steps:
Turn off the phone.
Press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys.
Wait 3 seconds and press the Back and Menu keys.
Note: If you see the LG logo before pressing the Back and Menu keys, the reset hasnt been completed and you will need to restart.
Release the Power/Lock key after you see the LG logo.
Release the remaining keys after the LG logo flashes (blinks once).
The Android Unpacking screen appears.
The phone will restart and complete the factory reset.
Note: If you unintentionally press the Volume Down, Volume Up and Power keys simultaneously, the phone will display a circle icon with two arrows and 'S/W Upgrade, Please wait while upgrading...' message. You will need to pull the battery and restart
Click to collapse
Hopefully you backed up your ROM before installing CM7..in CWM recovery use volume keys and power button to go to Backup/restore and then restore to most recent backup.

@DarkLP: Already tried that, and it doesn't work on this model phone. I did wipe all the caches before restarting too. Not quite sure what to do next...
Timing is precise in getting into recovery, keep trying eventually you will get there, I have the same phone.
I bricked my phone too yesterday, I am really sad now. I was panicking and trying to save my phone but all it does is go into the LG logo, blinks once, and shows a half cut-off LG logo.. I tried doing that master reset thing.. are you sure it works? I'd dedicate all my time just to unbrick my phone
I was able to unbrick my phone the other day using Android SDK and the command prompt. What you need to do is have a backup of your ROM saved on your sd card. Use the command prompt to put the phone into CWM recovery mode and then choose the backup/restore option on your phone.
If the backup is stirred in the correct file on your sd card then the recovery program will automatically detect it. From there choose the file you want to install and then activate the restore process.
You should be good to go after that.
That is what i was going to say.
Ahaha I couldn't be any more happy, I went into recovery using that button combo trick, flashed C7 and a Kernel and Google Apps (you have to flash google apps if you want them) go to cyanogen mod wiki and find g-apps there. To get your cyanogen rom just google "lg mytouch roms" and you should click the android central link and then scroll down and someone posted the files for it. Only thing that went wrong is the Camera doesn't work..
It should be same as Dream G1, download a .pnh and Fastboot
Low end cheap bro.....
Tmobile Customer Service
TMO's customer service is pretty good. Call them and tell them you were installing a non market piece of software (true enough) and that your phone won't power on. They will walk you through some steps that might get you going and if not they will offer to replace your phone if it is still under warranty. I sent my defy back several times whaen I was learning to flash ROM's. Then, remember to wipe everything before you flash anything.
OK that doesn't make sense. once you root your phone, warranty gets voided.
yes i'm sure, I've had the same problem as you did. you need to keep trying.
so did you fix it?
If you are talking to me, yes I did manage to fix it and flash C7. But I want stock ROM back, anyone have the files and directions?
Now the phone wont boot into S/W mode and wont power unless powered on after my pc froze during the update
I accidentally installed the wrong version of cwm on a softwinerEvb A13 model android 4.1.1 tablet. (I know dumb mistake - I have a few different versions I downloaded for different devices and I accidentally grabbed and flashed the wrong one with flashify app. Now I'm bricked as far as I know. I rebooted and it booted normally fine. Then I tried to boot into recovery (at this point I hadn't realized it was the wrong cwm version). The tablet just went to the boot screen and sits there. I held the power button to power down. devices turns off. then I tried booting back to normal and it gives me the same boot screen and sits there. I've tried every button combination and it just sits on the boot screen.
Any help or advice is much appreciated. Thank you very much.
ADB won't recognize device. It just says "error: device not found".
Of any mobilr bricks there are two ways to repair, one is from adb and other is from recovery, but in ur case these two are not working.
Somehow try buttons combo and enter the mobile, such that ur pc recognizes the device, thats it problems solved...

BRICKED 7inch Irola Tablet...PLEASE HELP
I am in DIRE need of some help with my tablet. I received this irola dx752 tablet bricked and cannot fix it for the life of me. I am able to hold power and volume up and get into recovery system version 4.2.01. I Have tried a factory reset and a wipe system cache and the tablet just reboots to the green robot with and exclamation mark. If I press volume up, it brings me back to the system recovery. Now i am not very versed in ADB but I tried to sideload just about every firmware I could find for an a13 allwinner a8 cortex 7inch tablet, since the irola website has taken down its firmware. Also, fastboot will not work on this tablet whatsoever (it just says waiting for device) when i enter any command. I have never seen this tablet boot into a rom of any kind and therefore cannot tell if USB Debugging was ever enabled. I also Have tried different drivers but the one that seem to hold is the Android ADB Interface. CAN ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS OR SOME HELP? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Greetings,
I have a jiayu G3S QUAD CORE MTK6589. I have been using it for over 6 months with no problem. The phone came rooted and i was happy with the ROM it had, so i didn't try to change it.Suddenly today the phone could not wake up.I removed the battery and put it back but no changes. The only way for the phone to wake up is to plug it to my pc.When i do that, i get the jiayu logo and after a while the battery charging image.I have tried to enter recovery mode, but i get the dead android with the red triangle sign.If i press the "volume down" button i get the factory mode, which is in chinese and doesn't do anything(i can move up and down but select nothing).
Here is the translation of that:
工厂模式(Gōng chǎng mó shì)=factory model
完整测试(Wán zhěng cè shì)=complete testing
单项测试(Dān xiàng cè shì)=single testing
测试报告(Cè shì bào gào)=test report
清除e MMC(Qīng chú e MMC)=Clear/Remove/reset e MMC
版本信息(Bǎn běn xìn xī)=Version Information
重启手机(Chóng qǐ shǒu jī)= restarting the phone
I have tried flashing this ROM
needrom.com/mobile/jiayu-g3s-2
and everything seems to be completed correctly but there is no change to my phone's condition.
Can anyone please help me with that?Is there maybe a way to install the OS from the scratch?
Thanks in advance
I have to answer my own question:
It is kinda stupid but the problem is somewhat solved. This is what had happened:
The power button was damaged!!! so when my phone turned off from battery i couldn't turn it on.Trying to put it to recovery mode and seeing the dead droid made me think that the os had crashed, so i tried to flash a new rom.The phone though wouldn't turn on (at that time i didn't know the button was not working) so i thought that sth was wrong. After flashing new rom for more that 20 times with all versions of sp tool and all roms i could find in needrom, the phone turned on!!!!But i had forgotten to put back my sd card.So i tried to turn it off and found that sth is wrong with the power button.I teard the phone apart and found that there in not good contact at the button film-cables.So i will have to do some soldering on that or order a new button...The good news is that through this I got familiar with all? the methods that i need to know for android.
So to sum up
IF THE PHONE DOESN'T TURN ON, CHECK THE POWER BUTTON FIRST!!!
Hi guys I hope you can help me.
I got my new THL W200S and all worked very fast and good.
During I used Whatsapp I got a black screen. I took the battery off and after a few seconds I did the battery in.
I have pressed the power button and the phone started until the THL sign. After a few seconds I´ve got a black screen again.
I can´t go into the recovery or download mode.
I need help pls.
I tryed to flash a stock rom with SP Flash Tools v5, but nothing happened.
Do a factory reset
Today I had the same problem after trying to install XPrivacy
Fastboot or ADB sideload were not working, but I managed with a factory reset: With OCR and Google translate I managed to read the Chinese characters
- Power up the phone while pressing the volume down button
- you get into the factory menu (see photo)
- select 清除eMMC with the volume down and press the power button
- the phone will erase completely (all apps, settings are lost)
- I my case the W200s octacore started up normally with a clean install
Hope you will be able to recover this great phone! I had my phone rooted, I do not know whether this is a prerequisite.

Have exactly this problem on same phone, but it won't even let me get into the factory menu. SP tools does nothing (think it's having difficulties recognising the phone) and mtk droid gives me multiple error messages. Tried looking at block map, tells me I have just 'bmtpool', size of 0 bytes.
Any ideas? Really really really don't want to have lost this..

Hi,
I unfortunately made my THL to brick it
After I had created a backup on the SD card in the Factory menu,
I came up with the not so glorious idea still perform a wipe.
Now your smartphone can not even boot into the factory menu.
Is there ne way to bring the device back up and running?
svdoldie
sorry for the bad english
someone realized?
Just a quick ask, when you flashed your via ROM flash tool, did you remove the battery? when using flash tool remember only connect the phone to the computer via USB when you select download(and un tick/check preloader ) . Only put the battery back into the phone when when you see the green circle and the tick. then power on the phone. Then use MTK droid tools to back up your ROM,then root the phone and then use MTK droid tools to install cwm recovery. hope this helps you. also look at the w200s thread for root, recovery, roms etc for more advice. Link to w200s thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646774 and some info how to use flash tool http://www.theandroidhow.com/2014/06/how-to-flash-stock-custom-recovery-sp-flash-tool.html?m=0

Hello
I have a Mate 7 L-09 and I am in the same situation of Sassan_Payehdar described in the his thread
Hi everyone,
I have a Huawei Mate 7 LT-09 16 gig, and I recently did these works:
1. The installed rom was android 6 B513.
2. I read a post in this forum (that is closed now) and updated it to B553 KingVIP Chinese through restoring nandroid TWRP backup.
3. After install I saw lots of bugs, so I wipe all partitions through advanced wipe in TWRP.
4. Then install marshmallow stock recovery using mobopx tool.
after that nothing works.
The USB drive just show hisuite CD-Rom and device not recognize for ADB Options in windows 7,8,8.1 and 10.
There is no recovery,
There is no option using combinations of the buttons vol+,Vol- and power.
I tried installing stock ROM through .app file and dload folder and still nothing works.
I tried Jtag and after lots of work, fastboot screen appears and reinstalling all versions of different recoveries and looks like the software is installing nowhere in neverland!, there is nothing!
I take my device to a technician and he said there is maybe no way to re-run the device. I really need help.
Apologize for poor English and thanks in advance help.

What happens when you enable your phone (after shutdown) with pressing power + volume up?
Also, what happens when you do the same but with power + volume down?
I would say that if it loads the logo you should be able to enter fastboot/recovery.
Focus on this first and what is your experience with using custom roms to give us an idea of what could be overlooked etc.
If you can load to fastboot and/or recovery let us know and we start from there.

Thank you very much for the answer......
Ok...
I can' t swich off the phone. When I press power off button it reboot and after a few seconds appears huawei logo and then nothing more happens.
When I try to press VOL- and power or VOL+ and power or any other combination of buttons it happens the same think written above: the phone reboot and after a few seconds appears huawei logo and stop.
I brought the phone to the huawei customer center and they told me it need to change motherboard to fix it but it is out of production. I brought it to two famous Chinese stores to fix phones here in Milano, but they couldn't do anything (so they said).
I would just like to retrieve the use of the phone. I saved all the data.
Thanks again for the help.

Not being able to to overcome the logo boot is unknown to me. Maybe the phone should still be able to be flashed!
I lack the knowledge, but to help out I share a link to someone having a similar issue. I will share the link at the end of this post.
If you are unable to connect to your phone and/or make it enter fastboot or recovery I have no idea if that means your phone is bricked.
For now, make sure you understand how to flash, boot, reset etc your phone, only to be sure you have tried all approaches.
Let us know if you did not succeed also so others can learn from this thread in the future

Good
now I am in this situation: I was able to install TWRP recovery for Marshmallow 3.0.2-0 Mate 7 by Mobopx v.2.1.
I chose this recovery beecause my last firmware was EMUI 4.0 (Marshmallow).
After I tried to apply this method: http://ministryofsolutions.com/2016...09tl10-bootloop-after-marshmallow-update.html, but it didn't work. After flashing I power on the phone and it try to boot (some times the animation start too for a bit) but then nothing. The phone reboot in recovery mode (this is a change compared to before).
Somebody has some ideas??
Thanks
