[Q] Galaxy S5 Battery with NFC / no NFC - Galaxy S 5 Accessories

NFC built in this battery. Is it little expensive for 3rd party? Anyone tried it?
NO NFC with 2x batteries and charger cost $24.98.

Of cause it would be more expensive. I bought a 2800mAh Onite Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery with NFC from Amazon,it cost me $14.98.And it worked better than a regular battery and would charge very quick.

Thank you. Maybe I need a OEM.
Btw, how to find it?

You can search for both OEM one and replacement on Amazon,Ebay or Verizon.Actually, the OEM one would be much more expensive. For me,I always buy those from Amazon. Now I am using a 2800mAh battery(NFC) from Onite. So far,it works well.

Is it possible....?

To get just the battery charger without the battery?
Uh?? Well yeah, just buy the battery charger and not the battery.

I think Soup is referring to the samsung spare battery charger that comes with the spare battery.
If so, you are not able to.... Not the one from samsung at least.
If you don't want the extra battery you can get the battery chargers by themselves for cheap on ebay...

This is close, a desk stand and second charger combined... but it doesn't charge your phone, you'd need to use a separate cable for that:

the only thing i don't like about these third party docks is they don't typically always charge the battery to full capacity and recharge at a slower rate.
the description say:
"The battery charging slot is design to charge Samsung Galaxy S4 battery up to 85-90% full only. This it to prevent the battery from over charging and damaging the Samsung Galaxy S3 battery"
maybe they should put a chip that stops charging when full (like the OEM samsung docks do)..

I'm in the UK, are there any spare battery chargers?

I'm going to get a 2600mAh Anker extra battery, but I don't know what charger I should buy for it, keep in mind I'm in the UK.
Will just any 'Spare Battery Charger' work or does it have to be somewhat specific to the S4?
Thanks,
Does anyone have an idea? How to load these batteries again? (If you do not want to use the S4)

It'll need to be specific to the S4, like this:

Battery Power Bank for Tab S 8.4

Hi anyone know of a Powerbank that has enough juice to charge Tab S 8.4 while at the same time using it?
I have tried some power banks and the Tab drains faster than charging
Look for the anker astro E3 10000mAh at amazon.com, it's about 26 bucks
I want to recommend the RAVPower® 14000mAh!
Using romoss power bank, 10k mah. Cost around$ 20
I would recommend one of the Ruinovos power banks that use standard 18650 batteries, see this one, for example, http://www.fasttech.com/product/1340304-ruinovo-401-1a-2-1a-4-18650-dual-usb-mobile-power
Try get the Xiaomi powerbank, 10400 Mah and costs quite cheap. i think it's around $10-12

I recommend LimeFuel battery packs if you want something with at least 80% usable MAH. The electronics in a battery pack take power to run. From what ive read, LimeFuel battery packs have at least 80% "efficiency."
24000MAH
15600 MAH
There may be other offerings with that 80%+ efficiency, but LimeFuel was the only brand i could find 6 months ago.
I had and tested a lot of batteries, and I can tell that the Xiaomi Powerbank is a cheap but working product. However, if you want to have a high quality battery that charges every USB device at fullspeed, look at the 2nd Gen Anker Astro3.
I got this one and it is great! Charges fast, and enough to give you a full charge
http://www.amazon.com/13000mAh-External-Portable-Compatibility-Charging/dp/B00BQ5KHJW
Been using Xiaomi for 3 days now, its 10400mah but it cant fully charge your Tab S when in use. The most I got was just an additional 30% of battery usage. This is surfing, youtube, facebook and gmail. Still happy since its cheap but was surprise it couldn't fully fill the battery despite it being 2x the battery capacity.
I do have this dilemma now about the powerbanks with the tab S. I'm using a 10.5 and now after searching thoroughly I can't find any that's legitimately compatible with the tab S and of course the 8.4 and the 10.5 should be the same when it comes to powerbanks. Even checked the Samsung 9000mah and it's compatibility, the tab s isn't on the list whereas the notes are and older tablets, so I'm stuck in this problem and very paranoid as I love this tablet and I don't wanna get just any brand that will work, I don't want it to mess up my tablet and affect any of its function. I'm not so good with the technical details about the volts and inputs and outputs, maybe someone out there could enlighten me with this cause I need help. I'm currently eyeing a romoss 10000mah powerbank but it doesn't state it's full compatibility and I'm skeptical about getting it. Any help and findings would be deeply appreciated. I need to get a powerbank for my tab S 10.5 and don't know what to get as all this compatibility seems so vague and there seems to be no legitimate answer. Why couldn't Samsung include the tab S or even make powerbanks for specific models that would work and the tab S is left out because it didn't sell good due to wrong timing but a great device. If anyone could help because I need a powerbank asap.

Hi I would suggest this one as it has the same output as official samsung charger: Amazon
and currently its 70% off and has 14,000 mah capacity BUT it does say not compatible with samsung Tab series but I really don't believe that...
- Output1 : DC 5.3V / 2100mA and DC5.3v / 1000mA

I think I will buy one of them myself for my HTC One M8 and will test it on Tab S and let you know :good:
Would appreciate that thank you. For the moment I'm looking at Samsung power banks and still sketchy as it doesn't say it's compatible with the tab S on the website, it's just stressful that there's no straight answer about the compatibility with the tab S, and even others say Universal, what does that really mean if you place that In a spectrum? Nothing specific about it.

Definitely will when I get the chance.

Chatted with Samsung and no luck but anyway I've finally got one, the Samsung 9000mah seems to be the most reliable one and on Android central it's listed for the tab S so I'll just stick with that, just ordered it and now my mind is at ease. I'll let you guys know how it works once I get it.

Which Charger is good? (replacement for stock one)

I need a new charger + cable but which one is safe to use / good?
Should be the same as the Stock one from the N6P.
Cable atleast 6ft. / 1.8m and with European wall plug.
Thanks.

I'd just get another stock charger. They are more likely to be better for your phone as many 3rd party ones aren't great. However if you have to get another one that isn't stock then I'd recommend one from anker.

Thank you, 3rd party ones are generally universal so they aren't built to supply the exact amount that particular device needs which can cause damage to battery and can even lead to explosions because of the lithium battery but that's rare.
I bought those one. Works fantastic!
