To get just the battery charger without the battery?
Uh?? Well yeah, just buy the battery charger and not the battery.

I think Soup is referring to the samsung spare battery charger that comes with the spare battery.
If so, you are not able to.... Not the one from samsung at least.
If you don't want the extra battery you can get the battery chargers by themselves for cheap on ebay...

alright thanks neon, perhaps that is what i'll do
I've purchased two 3500mah batteries off ebay and would like to have some sort of dock charger so I can just charge one of the batteries while my phone is using the other one. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Did u try wirelessground.com?

Yea, but I'm only seeing a dock charger for the phone itself. I need one for a 3500mah battery.
check this out
http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=224072509&sellerid=16060654
and it has a slot for a 2nd battery...sooo cool
I bought a 3500mAH battery and external battery charger from Amazon. The external charger plugs into 120VAC, has a 5V USB output and a charge indicator which indicates when the battery is fully charged.
Here's Amazon.com pages for just the charger:
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Battery-Ch...B8/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1324233294&sr=8-16
http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Deskt...QF2G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1324233626&sr=8-2
I never charge my phone anymore, just switch out batteries using external charger

Have to make sure you get a charger that takes the battery right0side up (same way it goes into the phone)... On my Vibrant, I had the official Samsung spare battery charger, and it took the battery upside down. Which meant that the contacts on any extended battery wouldn't match up as the battery is too thick.
EDIT: Oh yeah, this might should be in the accessories forum....

Anyone know of anyone currently or soon to be making an extended battery? Thanks. (Also, what is the current battery capacity?)

Not now.
Would have to be like a Power Sleeve there it plugs in to the microUSB port and covers the phone. I don't see a internal replacement. Then that would put warranties at risk. It would be a 0 liability thing.
Should be 1650 mAh.
I bought a 16000mah solar and electric charger it is good

Any links to the solar charger?
First off I would like to give a big thanks to James for allowing me to be a beta tester for his batteries, and accessories. Received this stock replacement with Nfc, about 5-6 days ago and have been using it since,.. great battery! And if your looking for something to replace your factory battery or just a spare, you can't beat it,..especially for what they sell for! I consider myself a pretty heavy phone user, of course don't go crazy and put the brightness all the way up or anything, but texting, phone calls, YouTube, Netflix, web browsing, I do a very good bit of it. I'll get right down to it and post my battery screen shots with the Onite,.. More reviews coming soon including an Onite extended with Nfc. Thanks again James,..this is a great battery guys! Btw phone is unrooted, completely stock

i would totally agree with the OP on this. i recieved one too for my s4 and must say if not more i am getting the same amount of time from this battery that i would get from the stock battery. would recommend anyone in the market who carries spare batteries like me.
Awesome. Have 2 coming in tomorrow. We're talking 2600s, right?

So I just got my NFC version batteries today. Upon close inspection is looks like the battery has the NFC charging coils built in. Has anyone tried putting this battery in and laying it on a charging back?

I may be confusing wireless charging with NFC.
NFC? Really?

Oh,I use NFC with S3 usually.
But I don't think it is related with the wireless charging.
Maybe you need a Wireless Charger Receiver Pad if you lay it on a charging back.
Hope is helps. Please Clike me.
NFC is not wireless charger pad

The upstair is right.
You can get the wireless charger pad on ebay or amazon.
NFC is not wireless charger pad.
OP, do you need a separate charger for the nfc onite battery or can I charge it while its in my phone? I've had past experiences with aftermarket batteries only being able to be charged with that company's charger and was disappointed when that battery was drained.

sweet, buying through amazon now...:good::good::good:
Yep charges exactly like the stock battery ..they are making there separate charger (the one that you can just charge the battery itself) better for faster charging,..the older ones take longer to charge,.. comes in handy when you have another way to charge your extra battery

How long does it take to full charge?
I wish a quick charger no more than 5 hours.
2600mAh/5h=520mA at least.

The one they are making now,..should be just about finished, it's 600ma so it will be significantly better than the other one, I'll make a post as soon as I have one in hand. I should be receiving one soon, not sure what the older charger takes for a full charge I think it's 6.5 hours or longer,..which is why they've been working hard to get this new 600ma charger out.

STOKED!!!
Excited to get my 2x Onite batteries w/NFC today...Tracking them through Amazon and my local post office has it out for delivery!!!Also for the charger is it just a plug in battery charger or is it a dock/battery charger. I saw the dual dock/battery chargers on amazon but no reviews...
NFC built in this battery. Is it little expensive for 3rd party? Anyone tried it?
NO NFC with 2x batteries and charger cost $24.98.

Of cause it would be more expensive. I bought a 2800mAh Onite Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery with NFC from Amazon,it cost me $14.98.And it worked better than a regular battery and would charge very quick.
Thank you. Maybe I need a OEM.
Btw, how to find it?

You can search for both OEM one and replacement on Amazon,Ebay or Verizon.Actually, the OEM one would be much more expensive. For me,I always buy those from Amazon. Now I am using a 2800mAh battery(NFC) from Onite. So far,it works well.
