Accidentally installed OTA update of ViperRom - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Basically the HTC blinkfeed won't work so I can't access anything. I turn off the phone but when I go to perform a factory reset it just turns the phone back on. I also can't do it with USB either.
Is there anything I can do at this point?

I have fixed this for myself, Thanks close or delete this thread.
All I did was pull battery out, restarted to stock recovery, wiped data./ factory reset and, rebooted into rom, wiped sd and internal sd.
Now I'm off to flash a new rom, thanks!
I had the same problem. I took the same steps you did and recovered mine.

My phone wont even connect to Keis Air, i tried connecting my phone while its in download mode and when its stuck in the rethink possible screen. Still wont connect to Keis Air.
They way I was able to fix mine was to first open Kies then select initialize firmware and connect phone to USB port in back of PC. Follow the prompts they will ask for model number and serial number it is located under battery. Select OK. Once firmware is finished Downloading it will prompt you to accept, disconnect phone from PC and then place phone in DL mode by removing battery reinsert battery press volume +- and then volume + to continue once you do that then connect phone to PC via USB and follow screen prompt on PC. It took me about one hour for mine to finally return to stock. I'm going from memory because I'm not sitting in front of computer at this time. Maybe someone with more knowledge than I can help. Good luck.

[Q] HTC One s wont boot

Hi, I am new to the forum as a member, although i have been on here before browsing. Think its excellent and helped me alot with my old htc.
My phone went completely dead today, for some reason it wouldnt take charge from my car charger. I got home and charged the phone, it switched itself on, but wont get past the HTC ONE splash screen. I have rebooted it several times.... any ideas?

You going to need to charge it for half hour or more before you want to start messing with stuff.

Its not rooted, just tried the recorvery option in bootloader, but that just came up with a phone picture with an exclamation mark.
When it stalls, if you hit the power button the bottom keys continually flash. :s
I hope i can get back into this phone as i have alot saved on it!

Think you going have to reset it but not sure if doing it in bootloader will wipe the SD.

Try the factory reset option. Your data will still be there afterwards you will just have to setup the phone again.
If you haven't rooted the phone or unlocked the bootloader it's best you stop trying to fix it yourself before you blow your warranty. Try the factory reset and if it doesn't work start calling and trying to get a replacement.
Also, all questions go into the Q & A forum.
Hold the power and volume down buttons until the phone turns off and reboots itself into the bootloader. Then factory reset from here.

Factory reset in recovery? Might be worth a try putting one file on the storage and doing a reset through recovery. I doubt it though, since it removes locking and if it didn't wipe out would give access to all your photos and documents.

Same happened about a week ago here. Got stuck whilst trying to connect to a wireless network. Went into a boot loop. Managed to wipe it but I lost all of my data. Only happened once though.

phone stuck on home screen

A friend of mine gave me this phone (stock fw) yesterday asking me to fix it, or at least to recover files on it. When it turns on, the screen is stuck on the home: touchscreen and physical buttons don't work, but everything else apparently works fine (it automatically connects to a open wifi hotspot and receives notifications). When I plug the phone on the pc, the screen turns on and recognizes the usb, but i can't access to it through the pc.
I tried to wipe cache but nothing changed, so I think I have to factory reset it. The problem is that it will lose all data and my friend hopes to recover them. Is there another way to recover the phone without the data loss?

Help!!! error while upgrading

please help, in was trying to upgrade my infinix hot note now through OTA, after i fininshed the download of the software and i clicked upgrade my phone showed error while installing the upgrade systems, and the phone now cant be on it keeps showing me no command and take me back to recovery mode, what can i do now please?
Can you power it down and let charge a bit? Try that first. If that fails and you have a removable battery, I'd try a battery pull.

Are you able to access the recovery mode? You may end up having to factory reset/wipe data.

When you say it can't be switched on, do you mean it doesn't boot up?

Phone won't boot, can I still access the storage?

My wife's stock, un-modded one s sat for a few months (she got a new phone) and now it won't boot-up past the "ONE" logo. I've NOT tried a hard reset because I don't want to wipe the data. I'm unable to see the device connected to any computer when I plug it in via USB (through the OS or adb).
I don't really care about the phone but there is some data on it that we'd like to retrieve, mainly calendar events that were saved to the built-in storage. Does anyone know if it's possible via some type of hardware hack to get this data pulled off?
Yes you can get data by unlocking bootloader and flashing recovery on it

Appreciate the reply but I'm not sure this is possible. It's a bone stock phone which means USB Debugging isn't enabled so I don't think I can use any of the tools out there to unlock it. Maybe I'm wrong on that?
You can check I think its working without debugging
