I tried flashin to stock firmware through Odin, and it said it passed/ flashed successfully yet my phone just stays on the at&t Logo, any advice?
I NEED my phone for work tomorrow and it's already getting late. I've reflashed twice now. I'm starting to panic.

I have fixed this for myself, Thanks close or delete this thread.
All I did was pull battery out, restarted to stock recovery, wiped data./ factory reset and, rebooted into rom, wiped sd and internal sd.
Now I'm off to flash a new rom, thanks!
I had the same problem. I took the same steps you did and recovered mine.

My phone wont even connect to Keis Air, i tried connecting my phone while its in download mode and when its stuck in the rethink possible screen. Still wont connect to Keis Air.
They way I was able to fix mine was to first open Kies then select initialize firmware and connect phone to USB port in back of PC. Follow the prompts they will ask for model number and serial number it is located under battery. Select OK. Once firmware is finished Downloading it will prompt you to accept, disconnect phone from PC and then place phone in DL mode by removing battery reinsert battery press volume +- and then volume + to continue once you do that then connect phone to PC via USB and follow screen prompt on PC. It took me about one hour for mine to finally return to stock. I'm going from memory because I'm not sitting in front of computer at this time. Maybe someone with more knowledge than I can help. Good luck.

I recently upgraded my P920 to 4.0.4 using xbsall's port, then installed BadSoul's mod. Today I downgraded to GB again, following the guide because my phone had become so slow as to be unuseable. When I reached the android setup screen, my phone displayed the message "Not enough free space. Clean up your data and try again." Attempting to connect to a wifi network causes the same message to appear. There are 5.57GB free.
Because of this, I can't install apps from the market, and the same method of rooting that I've used before (megatron_windows) isn't working either.
I tried using CWM to restore my backup earlier, but after doing so I was unable to boot - the LG logo would appear for a couple of seconds, then the phone powered off again.
So...my question is, how can I get my phone restored to a useable state again, if that's even possible at this point?
Silly question bit... did you try factory reset?

can you guide me how to do it.
i am not familiar with that.
please
It's a cache overload.
You don't need to factory reset , just clear the cache it'll solve your problem.
Should you encounter this problem again , factory reset would erase your data and leave you with a lot of work to be done , erasing the cache is rather painless.
Cheers.
I was on Cromi-x 4.7 and everything was smooth.i decided to move on and test the new beta 5.
when i flashed everything was normal and i was on haunds kernel 3.2
it suddenly restartet and got stuck on the asus logo.

Then you are not hard bricked
Which recovery are you using?
Easiest method is probably go into wipes and do a factory wipe, then reinstall the rom but choose that's or my stock kernel and see if that boots first.

If you format your internal SD, it will solve a lot of unknown problems that I don't know how to fix or a root cause of it.. However, you will loose all your personal data and files. By any chance do you use 64G external SD?

It is why that you can not boot into your system because your system was not mounted.. You can try wipe both caches and power off your device completely for about 15 second. You can power it back on with your power button to see if it works..

No. The recovery is independent from Android, and Android mounts the system partition itself.

This is XDA Developers. "XDA Developers was founded by developers, for developers."
I don't expect everyone to be a developer, but I expect people here to have some knowledge about using computers that exceeds clicking icons in Windows and being able to open a browser.
As super mod zelendel wrote, "XDA is a place to come to learn and share your knowledge. If you are not here for those reasons then you are here for the wrong ones.". I know you are here for the right reasons.
If something in my postings is too technical, just ask - I am happy to explain anything.

Usually a data format and reflash of system will fix this type of bootloop. You didn't by any chance flash a new bootloader did you when you were trying to fix it? Have you tried restoring a nandroid at all?
I'm all out of ideas. I've fixed many bootloops now so we should be able to get you up and running but something doesn't quite compute.....
Hello guys,
so recently my Nexus 5 crashed while streaming some videos and got into a bootloop. I could access fastboot, so I tried flashing stock 4.4.2, wiping data, wiping cache. The phone tried to boot a few times and eventually managed to do so, only to start rebooting while logging with my Google account. After a few loops it managed to boot again, and for a while it seemed as everything was okay, until I tried to restart it. Now the phone is just looping and even after 10 minutes isn't able to boot successfully.
At first, most of the time the phone rebooted on the Google logo, but a few times it got to the animation, froze and then rebooted again. Now it's just the Google logo.
Do you have any suggestions what to do? The phone right now is on factory 4.4.2, unlocked, so I'm starting to be afraid it won't be fixable.
Thanks for any ideas or help.

Boot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset. Problem solved
Wiping data/doing a factory reset is actually one of the steps in the tutorial, I already did that, it still doesn't work. Hell, I even tried it again now, still nothing.

How long are you Leung it boot? The first boot will take awhile, give it 5 minutes
I left it for about 10 minutes before, but to no success. It's not like it's actually doing anything, it just gets to the Google screen, turns off and tries again, over and over. I'll leave it running again, maybe it needs some really long time.

It's not boot looping if it turns off and back on again. You have something else going on. I'd re-flash the factory image again. I think something went wrong there.
Oh, sorry. I originally searched for rebooting related problems but only found bootloop, so I kinda assumed that's what it meant. Whoops.
I'll try the reflashing, then.

A boot loop is when it gets to the boot screen, the four Google colors and just hangs there without going any further.
Flashed again. The whole process goes smoothly, no problems at all. Did another factory reset as well. Phone is still rebooting.

So it tries to boot, shuts down probably vibrates and then restarts all over again? Have you tried to re-download the factory image? It could be a bad download. Also use 7-zip to extract it.
Are some phones maybe over heating, I wonder if you cooled phone off, if it could finish booting then?
I might try that, shut off phone, let it cool or help it cool with fridge in sandwich bag or something then retrying in 20 minutes or so?
That is, if you haven't had success yet.
I'm not sure how to read last sentence if successful or not?

Yes, it gets to the Google logo, turns off, vibrates and starts again. The weird thing is I actually managed to make it work before making this thread (it restarted a few times, froze and restarted on the colors and like the 10th try was successful), but after turning it off I'm not able to turn it on again. So the image should be ok. I can try it, of course.

The phone is still not working, but the temperature isn't high - it gets more heated when I'm charging it, right now it has room temperature, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Is it safe to go simply fastboot erase partition, then fastboot flash partition? Or are there some I should not be erasing?

You can erase then all. System, cache, boot, userdata, recovery. You'll flash then all too. The order doesn't matter.
