I saw in you other post that you are running : 8.1.122...strange version ...
Exchange 2007 SP1 is : 8.1.240.0
And Exchnage 2007 is : 8.0.685.0
What's your exchange ?
SP1 beta 2
rollup package 3 for exchange 2007 is needed

Certificate?
I also BELIEVE that you need a CA Security Certificate. Self Signed doesn't work. Don't have direct proof of this statement only from reading documentation and the fact that in other arenas (including Sharepoint integration) you have to use a CA Cert.
anyone tried this with getztek ?
0x85010015 - 1
Also have you tried the disable TASKS in Activesynch, soft reset, enable TASKS in sync trick?
0x85010015 - 2
For testing just yourself with a qualititively different phone in terms of either hardware or ROM on the phone - this is a long shot because you don't have others at the Enterprise to test this idea before deciding it is only happening to you or everyone
It is a long PIA to do but actually worked for me the other day. Remember in this case - the clue was that it was only one person in the Enterprise having the problem. All others (with identical phones) were not.
Somewhere DEEP in Google Groups is a discussion (sorry I lost the link) of this error code which saved me the other day when it was only happening to ONE person in the Enterprise.
In essence there is a corrupt entry in their Exchange Storage somewhere. The fix is to:
Back their mailbox up to a PST by ExMerge or Export tool in Outlook
Run the PST repair tool on the PST file
Delete their Mailbox in Exchange.
Run Exchange Cleanup
Create a new empty mailbox
Import their data from the PST file.
Like I say - long shot but worked for me.
I was able to test on a SP1 Exchange 2K7 a real one and it works
Cheers

I use a hosted exchange mailbox, syncing & push email work perfect for me, even with WM6.1, never tried it with the original roms but my cooked one has no issue with exchange for sure!
Hi, I just upgraded to the official Dutch WM 6.1 ROM. Everything is working great... except Exchange sync! I get the error 0x85010015 too. The system administrator says he is already running Exchange 2007 SP1 which would contain the mensioned update.
Does anyone have an idea on what I can try to get Exchange sync working?
Exchange 2007 SP1 here, and works fine with every WM6.1 ROM i have tested (including official ones by HTC)...
Cheers.
I this a production E2K7 environment? Why not install RTM bits???
I'm on HTC's "official" WinMo 6.1 Rom on my Tilt and have no issues with email sync ... as for certs to the listener in the ISA server, you can use self signed (not recommender), but unified certs with multiple alternate names are problematic on ISA Server 2006.

[Q] Info on how Active sync on android works

We just upgraded our outlook web from 2007 to 2010 the upgrade ended up breaking all Entourage and Crackberries and Android phone Active sync connection. We were able to get the Entourage and Crackberries fixed minus about 10%. The android has been limited to 2.2 and 2.1 phones using the default exchange client. It gets to the point of creating the account and fails after polling and setting up active sync for 5 minutes. It will authenticate the users but states can't create the account at this time.
I don't have full access to the active sync (AD settings or IIS) we use godaddy ssl certs.
the original link was piratemail.ecu.edu and the workaround is legacypiratemail.ecu.edu
More than anything resource material for how the android side is wanting to authenticate and build the account on the phone from the exchange server settings would be great.

[Q] LG Optimus7 (?) Outlook (?) Bug

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to configure Outlook client with my company account, running Exchange 2007 SP2.
However, due to server configuration and presumably either a wp7 bug and specifically Optimus7 bug, I can not set the correct login data.
In fact my server requires this kind of login:
Code:
DOMAIN\Surname[space]Name
while Optimus7 does not allow to type [space] in the login form!!!
I'm not the domain administrator and I have no chance to manage server-side Exchange settings.
I tried to login both with email and surname.name <- this is the real cn value), with no success: maybe ISA blocks all different login attempts not matching DOMAIN\Surname[space]Name values.
I will appreciate who can help me.

Simulate ActiveSync Client of iPhone 4 in Nexus One

Hi,
The problem is following:
The policy in our company is to allow to use ActiveSync client only on devies like
iPhone
BlackBerry
When i opened request to get access to my mails using my phone. i configured on my Nexus One everything and i got access to my mails. The system administrator very fast found out that i access to my mails using Android device and closed to me activesync on exchange server.
Is there a way to simulate device and OS of iPhone or blackberry that sysadmin will not know that anyway i use Android device to read my mails...? Workarounds?
I use this activesync client:
Exchange for Android 2.x
NitroDesk, Inc.

[Q] Sync and Install Certificate with HD7 and Windows XP (mailbox configuration)

Hi guys,
I have HTC HD7 with new Mango o.s. and my computer has Windows XP. I need to configure my work mailbox but I have some problems.
I have these informations:

"There's a problem with server certificate. Please contact the support or the service provider. Error code 80072F0D"
what I have to do?
If I connect HD7 to my computer, the system doesn't recognize the HD7.
please, help me!!!
