[Q] Sync and Install Certificate with HD7 and Windows XP (mailbox configuration) - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I have HTC HD7 with new Mango o.s. and my computer has Windows XP. I need to configure my work mailbox but I have some problems.
I have these informations:
username: "name.surname"
password: 123456
server: xxxx.yyyy.zzzz
domain: aaaaaaa-bb
If I use the above information on iPhone or Android, the mailbox works successfully. If I use the same information in HD7, I receive this error message:
"There's a problem with server certificate. Please contact the support or the service provider. Error code 80072F0D"
what I have to do?
If I connect HD7 to my computer, the system doesn't recognize the HD7.
please, help me!!!
thanks a lot

could you fix your outlook issue?

hi there,
i think this is because you are accessing the web mail at the same time. log off from the account, remove all the setting and softreset your device.
then set it again.
this solved my problem.

Currently using exchange 2003 SP2. My s710 will not retrieve mail for my account or any new account created. Funny thing is it retrieves for another user he currently uses a wm5 device.
I have checked the global setting on exchange server and all necessary sychronizing options are on
Does anyone know how to fix this error: 0x85010004
Your Account does not have permissions to sync with your current settings. Contact your Microsoft Exchange administrator.
Thanks
Hi !
Your Exchange Server Use Https ¿?
I Live This Problem And The Solution Is Install The Secure Certificated On The Pda...
Sorry For My English I Live In Mexico...
Or try, when connected to your PC to open Internet Explorer (on your mobile). You'll have to give a username, password and domain (don't forget to check the remember password checkbox).
Then, it should work without problems.

A strange problem from mail2web (in wm6.0)

I just upgrade my palm 750 from wm5 to wm6.
In the past, I can sync my data and email everywhere with mail2web service.I feel happy. However it's too slow to pick up phone and hang up the call in wm5.0.
so I upgrade to wm6.0.it can solve them.but I got a big problem now.I can't use mail2web sync service.
I've according to its guide.
server: mobile.exchange.mail2web.com
user: myusername_mail2web.com
domain: ad2
(encrypted connection)
If I sync with encrypted connection(SSL),it will appear:
The security certificate on the server is not valid.Contact your Exchange Server administrator or ISP to install valid certificate on the server (Support Code:0X80072F06)
If no,it will appear:
You account in microsoft exchange server does not have permission to sync with your current setting. support code:0x85010004
And I also tried to get the certification from the server via "SslChainSaver.exe" and import all to my palm.
But it still can not work. I am so upset.please help me.
I use mail2web as well. Mine works fine.
You need different settings for WM6 than you have for WM5.
The username is not in the format: myusername_mail2web.com but is username_mailxxxx
It's explained on their site. My email settings then activesync settings I think.
Hi.I've tried to input as you said.but it can not work.
Have you import any certification on your device?

Click to collapse
And their site said username_mail2web.com. it's very strange
I've not put any certification or anything on - just typed it in as instructed on their site and it worked with no problem.
Sorry can't help more.
Try this
Try this:
change your user: myusername_mail2web.com
to
[email protected]
use @ instead of _
no need to fill up "ad2" its automatic.
the setting on mail2web website is not always universal for some devices.
mine is works that way... Good Luck!
