hi
i just got Samsung Galaxy Win Pro G3812 , and i got it from china , it has english language but its quite disturbing most of the apps and setting and keyboards are based in chinese language. im not from china or asia so was wondering can i root and update this phone to 4.3.0 or other version of android from other countries which has english language. like a S4 android or S3 which we get from samsung store. ( newbie)
thank you
I can get you a odin flashable ROM without the added chinese apps and also pre rooted, if you want to just Root i can post a root tool that works on the Samsung galaxy win pro

hello,
First I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place is that I'm new to the forum and am very layman in English "sorry for that too" because I'm from Brazil, and I have some friends who would like to have a cyanogenmod rom, AOKP, paranoid , slim, or any other that is not the stock samsung, if possible with a later version of android for sm-g3812 how do I get one?
Sorry for bringing up an old post but did anyone ever get a non Chinese ROM for this phone? I have a friend with this phone and am trying to see if I can flash a ROM.
Cheers, Mick

Hi All,
Essentially, I had bought the Moto X T-Mobile & Unlocked sim-cards as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately, I found that the Moto X T-mobile comes with only 4 languages installed. So, Arabic is not one of them for system display language. My wife doesn't speak English and she only speaks Arabic. I would really appreciate if you can help us to add more languages to the phone without rooting the phone?
The UK Android version has Arabic, How can we get UK version install to the phone.
Thanks
Hi there!
I'm afraid the only way to add languages to the system would be by unlocking bootloader (which voids your warranty) then rooting and installing a custom ROM that has support for Arabic....if any do.
You can browse the dev section found in the moto x section, here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x?nocache=1&z=9703952672425658
See if any ROMs in the dev section list Arabic as a language. Or you can post your question in the Q&A section.
But unless you root.....there's no way to do it. And the custom ROM would need to support the language as well.
Good luck! ?
You should have no issue flashing the UK firmware....so long as the firmware is for the same model.... As in xt10xx model number.
If you do encounter issues....you can always flash the same firmware you are on now again. So be sure what you have now.
Here is a thread to help with that...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446515
Also note: very important.....if you ate on 4.4.2 or 4.4.3, DO NOT downgrade lower than 4.4.2....you could brick your device. Just keep that in mind now and in the future.
Hello. I'm new here. I just updated my Samsung Note 2 SGH-I317M with Bell Canada. I now have Android 4.4.2
I don't need instructions on how to root/unlock. I've done it in the past using a program called Odin.
All i need to know is where do i download the correct rom for my phone?
I've looked on this website but i can't seem to find the rom section. Is there a different website that everyone gets their roms?
Please help me.

Samsung-updates, Sammobile...
Most good brand phone roms are here on xda-developers. but if you have chinese phone look them on needrom.com. also there are plenty of roms on 4pda.ru forum (if you know russian).
I don't understand russian or chinese and sam's mobile only has stock roms.
I ended up finding one made by someone called chainfire
Good thing we have smart people who do this, I really hate how cellphone companies install so many junk apps.
It works good. Anyways, Thanks for the replies.
Hi guys, i have a bit of a problem, i recently installed cyanogen mod without recovery on my fathers s2 and i saved all contacts, logs and messages via kies, after that i didnt knew that kies does not support custom roms and he couldnt get into original android so i have to fix it, so can you plese give me link to download original ROM because firmwares dont work. Sorry for bad english
Hi,
We need to know your exact S2 model to point you towards help. There's different sections for each model.
You will need to use Odin to install stock firmware, especially if you intend to use Kies.
Thanks!
Hi
I have just Rooted a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N9150, android version 4.4.4, baseband version N9150ZCU1ANL3) with CWR.
since the device's ROM is Chinese I need to install an English/international rooted custom/stock ROM.
I can't find anything fitting for the device on the internet and these forums. Could you please direct me to some roms installable through CWR for SM-N9150?

i'm in the same situation and still looking for custom rom.
I am too!
Anyone have a solution here? Mine came with a ton of adware preinstalled and many backdoors to add more, so even after I delete what I can, more are continually added. It's been frustrating -- I'd like to start fresh.
I was given a legit Samsung J320A by a friend. I unlocked it from AT&T no problem using their site, but wanted to upgrade it - and since I'm outside of the US, that meant a new rom (and there were other reasons, but anyway...).
Looking for a stock Samsung rom, I found https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j3-2016/development/odin-j320a-j320az-links-t3631914 and downloaded J320AUCS3BQL2 - the latest for the J320A. I flashed the rom, and all went well. I tested it and all seemed fine.
But I wanted to give it to a friend who speaks Indonesian, with no English. Turns out that, whether because AT&T thought no one would want that language in the US, or because of the rom I chose, the Indonesian translations are bad, and often it just gives English.
I can and will (if forced to) try the different roms in that post until I find one that works or until I run out. (Side question: is there a risk of bricking it if I do that?)
But I was wondering: the J320A seems to be the same as the J320AZ and J3 (2016) except maybe for the network hardware? I can't get a definitive answer on that. Does anyone know?
If it is the same or very nearly the same, can I flash using the stock roms from one of the others - preferably the J3 (2016) so it doesn't have any provider apps on it and is presumably more network/connectivity neutral? Has anyone tried it? Can anyone point me to a good rom for that?
[added: 'The only difference is between the connectivity modules since these devices belong to two different network carriers.' - https://techbeasts.com/root-galaxy-amp-prime-galaxy-express-prime-gophone/ ]
