Do you have screenshots about your battery?
There might be a battery drain.

How heavy do you use it?
Gaming? Browsing? Music?

You sure deep idle is enabled?

Try to wipe battery stats at 100% and get through at least two charge cycles, it helped in my case
personally , stock ROM has longest battery life
I´m running MV Nexus Rom with matrix 10.5... Using 1320/440... Deep idle enabled and max freq when screen off enabled and it´s giving an awesome battery life... I´m using a TMo Nexus S

Honestly I'm not sure what deep idle is.. I'm working on a friends phone.. I have a charge. I didn't know smartass was an option.. But I'll def hit that up.. So how do I enable deep idle? And how would raising min clock speed save battery life? jw?

[Battery-issue] is my battery life normal ?

hey guys! so i have an htc sensation one year 4 months old and the battery life is kinda " crappy " .
i charge it when i'm asleep and it goes from 100 to 85 in almost 5 min .. and if i continue to use it (heavy use) it can live up to 3 hours max !!
is that normal ??
or should i buy a new stock htc sensation battery or maybe u could recommend me a good battery that last longer ?
waiting for ur answers ^_^
P.S: i live in sweden ..
no it is not normal
you should definitely get a new battery
try to buy Anker or Mugen batteries
they last quite longer
Like the guy said above; buy an Anker 1900mah battery from amazon.com. Will give you roughly 20% extra mileage on stock. Also from my experience with this phone the ROM and kernel also impacts battery life. For the best battery life use the badass governor on battery saving setting and set the cpu between 192-1086mhz. As I don't game heavily and just heavily text, call, browse it lasts me a full day with brightness on lowest.

thank you for the reply , i use bruce's cm 10 with his kernel. and i don't game at all i can say .. but it's just the battery that sucks .. one question does amazon ship to sweden ?
Edit: just bought one from uk amazon thank you guys really
You're welcome Have you tried changing badass governor to battery saving in his init.d script? And turn off the capacitative button lights using kernel tuner. I'm using this set up and I get 4 hours onscreen time on the latest CM10 version

yes i've tried that before but no difference :| so i bought a new battery :good:
I would reset the phone and buy a new an OEM battery. You can use the 1730mAh battery from a Sensation XE(check eBay). I wouldn't recommend an aftermarket battery, since they are of lower quality that HTC made batteries.
I just bought the 1900mah anker battery from amazon . I'll try it and see

Smartass2/deadline 1000/100 mhz (only about an hour on 3g)
I was out today, and had screen at max brightness using gps for directions, playing solitaire and using 3g for FB, email ect... I only got 6 hrs battery with 3.5 hrs screen time.. I really didn't think that lowering the brightness helped that much, as I usually don't have it at full, but there is a huge difference.. Over 50% drop in battery life..
A simple rom with rich dark kernel
If u want the best battery from your phone consider trying Rasbeanjelly ROM with matr1x kernel. This ROM and kernel has always given me the best battery life though this ROM is not as highly customizable as aokp, paranoid android etc.

RC2 isn't that old (eaven if they pussed RC4 now), SO I'm guessing you dont have it installed for a long time, stay with it a couple of days and let the sistem calibrate the battery properly, after a fiew charging cicles it will be fine...if that doesent work try bb6 with marmite or helly 4.1.2 with Devil kernel updated
I've been frustrated with the battery, as I use this phone as my daily.. I recently bought a 3800 mah battery and get about 7 hours of screen time with moderate to heavy use.. I'm a bit more reassured now

Is that the extended battery?
The one that makes the phone fat?
Yea! Exactly that one.. But I don't notice it too much to be honest.. My thumb does most of my phone work.. And sometimes I used to be stuck phone-less, so for me the weight is a small price to pay

I too play Ingress, if you're getting about 5 hours of play time you're doing very good. Most people that I play with get 2 hours max as Ingress is a client heavy app. Remember that playing Ingress is like streaming a movie to your phone and running GPS. The data/Wi-Fi and GPS use a lot of power as they are always on with your screen. I have found that if I tether my phone to another device and just use Wi-Fi for data I get about another 30 min of play time, or if I just use the phone as a hot-spot I will get about 4 hours of play on my N7 with out recharging.

Battery saver rom?

Is there anything battery saver ROM? I have 1650 mha akkumlator, and its running out of energy in about 6 hours. Even if I do not really use it. Any suggestion to make that battery life a bit longer? (New akkumlator ....)

I think you could first check which apps are consuming the power.

Actually not apps are draining my battery. Its the android os and the screen. Can I anyhow make the screen brightness even darker? When i put it to the minimum its like apple stuffs on full bright... 40% screen light on battery 14% os ...

I dont know about 50 hrs but you can significantly increase battery life by making sure you dont have background tasks running while its in standby. Ergo a task manager or auto task killer. But be careful if its rooted and you use a root app task killer it can kill tasks that you NEED running. Also if you can find an app that will trickle charge it when its at 100% battery and your not using it that will prolong your usage as well. Not sure what else you could do besides that or see if you can find a way to undervolt it with a power managing app *for rooted devices*
Hello, there are many ways to "slightly" improve battery usage but you can't significantly improve it. If you want to get 50+ hours, try a app called Easy Battery Saver. It generally gives me another few hours of battery usage.
