the problem im having is that the phone works grand when there is no sim card inserted or when the sim card is locked. however when i unlock the sim card the phone just goes black and knocks off just blank screen and needs to be switched on again. this happens over and over again. i dont understand why it works fine without sim and switches off when sim is unlocked. can anyone help me ? thanks
You will be hard pressed to find a solution here. We dont deal with clone knock offs at this developers site.

Something went wrong when flashed a beta 4.3 ROM and my phone soft-bricked. Was finally able to get it back up and running using the Droid Razr HD Utility 1.21. Flashed the stock ROM but it would hang in set up with the "This could take several minutes" message. However, I was able to load my TWRP backup files and have been able to restore both stock and the 4.2.2 ROM I was using when all this began. However, my baseband has NOT been restored with any restore or stock ROM I've tried. So I have no service and no data connectivity at all.

Tried a custom now I can't get a signal on my previous rom. no baseband no imei
I'm facing same issues on my xt926 pls help.
I have tried everything I can to fix this 'NO SIM' problem with No Luck whatso. I have gone back to stock firmware update 4.3 via Kies. done full reset, tried different working sim cards, its getting signal but no network carrier.
This was after flashing 2 ROMs & Gapps - Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.4.8-20150619-i9305 & AOSP-5.1.1-20150622-i9305-rodman01.
The ROMs both worked fine so does the stock ROM, but still NO SIM. I have also flashed the following modems
Modem-I9305T-DVUENC1, Modem-I9305T-DVUEML1, Modem-I9305T-DVUEMK2, and even some older ones.

I have tried flashing a half dozen to a dozen different ROMs using the latest version of ODIN and following the given procedures. None of them have led me to getting the SIM lock removed. They either brick my phone, or just leave it still SIM locked to Bell Canada. Fortunately the download function continues to work and I have been able to get the phone unbricked by applying I9000UGKG3_I9000BMCKG3_BMC, or I9000UGKG3_I9000BMCKG3_VMC. One doubt that I have is whether I am identifying the correct ROM files from this XDA web site.
Could someone direct me to the right files and procedures for getting this phone SIM unlocked so that I can use my SIM from Public Mobile?

Just wanted to mention that instrumentaly was able to unlock my SM-G930P. We ran into a couple of issues along the way, but it worked out in the end. He didn't ask for anything up front or otherwise. Thanks again!

but instrumentaly managed to do it
