[Q] xt926 Unknown Baseband Help - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Something went wrong when flashed a beta 4.3 ROM and my phone soft-bricked. Was finally able to get it back up and running using the Droid Razr HD Utility 1.21. Flashed the stock ROM but it would hang in set up with the "This could take several minutes" message. However, I was able to load my TWRP backup files and have been able to restore both stock and the 4.2.2 ROM I was using when all this began. However, my baseband has NOT been restored with any restore or stock ROM I've tried. So I have no service and no data connectivity at all.
Here is my phone info:

[Q]Error while searching for networks with "baseband V21E" [SOLVED]

HI there,
Was wondering If there is a fix to my little problem here.
I had been really keen to try out xbsall's XBSA V21E P920 ROM, so once it was uploaded I was right onto it, installed the zip from CWM and I'm very impressed. Baseband now v21e from v21a. However I have no mobile network and when I try to search it flashes with a quick Error message: "Error while searching for networks."
So I tried to flash v21e basband using smart tools and the v21e bin / fls.
So this time without the ROM and just having a stock baseband of v21e I have no mobile network and the same problem occurs.
Baseband Version:

GPRS service: Disconnected

Data attempts: 0
GSM dissconnects: ========DATA========
Went into phone info via *#*#4636#*#* to see if I could change "Set Preferred network type: from Unknown to WCDMA" continues to stay unknown upon clicking WCDMA.
Any ideas? or should I go back to an earlier baseband and a different ROM for the time being?
Kind Regards
EDIT: Solved by installing TitanKernel V0.4.2 V21D 09-04-2012
Now the kernel version is 2.6.35.7 instead of 2.6.35.7+
and I am running XBSA V21E Gingerbread with ICS Theme Perfectly now, Love it so far!

You can flash the Prometheus project kernel v1.3 might be plus can't remember but samno used the kernel source from 21e when he wrote it I have it working on my thrill
sent from my acidhazard thrill
nice to hear it works for you mate
did you follow the PREinstallation guide step by step and it didnt work?
cause you should use v21e kernel
how to change kernel?
i am having the same problem
I flash v21e, and my kernel changed from version 2.6.35.7 to 2.6.35.7+
I think that because of that i have no network connection (sometimes i have it, sometimes no)
I tried different kernels, like promethius rom 1.5, promethius kernel v1.4.5.1+, xbsa_V21e_gb_ics, NovAndroid2.1
All of them show kernel 2.6.35.7+
I found titankernel_v0.4.2_v21d_09-04-2012 in a german site, tried to flash but it locked my phone
Now i am back to promethius, and i have network connection only at the street, never in buildings.
What should i do?
Flash 21e baaseband.

i flashed V21E_00.kdz using
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23474089&postcount=1
Is the baseband included in the kdz? if not, can you point me how to do that?
Thanks
Yes it is included in kdz. You can now flash any custom rom that is 21e based.

I stick with V20C, flashed bluekernel, and no GC for 2 days

Need Modem.bin -- or some way to fix my Baseband

I wrote in a few days ago regarding my phone not being able to detect the SIM card.
From further studies, I found that the issue is likely my baseband. Here's my Tablet's info:
Model Number: GT-P6200
Android versoin: 4.0.4
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-P6200XXLQ1-CL776352
[email protected] # 3
SMP PREEMPT Mon Jun 25 14:42:23
KST 2012
Build Number: IMM76D.XXLQ1
I am not sure if that's normal but I gather baseband unknown is not good. I'm trying to go for a fix and maybe reflash my modem file.
However I have two other complications:
* My broadband is down, I'm typing from a USB Dongle
* My tablet can't be detected by Windows. The issue started sametime the Sim coulnd't be found, I tried connecting the tablet to 3 different PCs and it couldn't be detected at all -- I can't even install USB drivers as the PC doesnt even recognize the phone. So I can't update via USB.
I can still connect via WiFi, might go to a place with WiFi and try "Software Update" to see if I can get a software update via the air.
But it seems my only other option is to flash via MicroSD in recovery mode.
Can I fix the baseband by flashing from MicroSD in recovery mode?
I think I screwed up, I flashed using Mobile Odin the 4.0.4 firmware found in one of the threads here for Hong Kong (can't find it anymore). The ICS here flashed my device to a P6200L --> And now Mobile Odin won't work with it! The baseband is still broken. So looks like I lost the ability to flash my device altogether now. I'll try KIES and hope I can do something in KIES, because the new firmware didn't fix the problem.

[Completed] [Q] Galaxy S3 i9305t Still NO SIM Detected after firmware upgrade

I have tried everything I can to fix this 'NO SIM' problem with No Luck whatso. I have gone back to stock firmware update 4.3 via Kies. done full reset, tried different working sim cards, its getting signal but no network carrier.
This was after flashing 2 ROMs & Gapps - Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.4.8-20150619-i9305 & AOSP-5.1.1-20150622-i9305-rodman01.
The ROMs both worked fine so does the stock ROM, but still NO SIM. I have also flashed the following modems
Modem-I9305T-DVUENC1, Modem-I9305T-DVUEML1, Modem-I9305T-DVUEMK2, and even some older ones.
Model Number: GT-I9305T (Telstra Australia)

Hi there,
I believe you'd need a stock firmware flashed in order to boot.
Please post in Australian Galaxy S3 Thread so that one of the experts may be of help.
Good luck
Ahh I see the light... flash stock firmware, not a firmware upgrade and installation from kies,
I wasn't aware of the Aussie thread either so double kudos to you R_a_z_v_a_n
Cheers :good:

I tried hard reseting / apn change / mobile network automatic and manuall search but nothing shows. Changed from GSM to all i had in radio settings ( like GSM only / GSM auto PRL / etc etc) and nothing happened. I dont know what is wrong with this phone. IMEI is the same as the back cover.
Any suggestion please is highly appriciated
Try to reinstall stock firmware using KIES.
There is no fear for wrong firmware download since download perform by KIES.
However in my case, KIES2 asking S/N, not IMEI. On video he is using KIES3. Of course, you need active internet connection.
You can find imei & S/N under battery.
