What do you guys think of the new Lumigon T2 HD?
I see it has up to 128GB INTERNAL Storage, ok it has a small(ish) screen at 4.3" but that's fine I suppose, it's 720p HD screen. It has 4.4 KitKat OTA update for it. It has 4G/LTE capabilities, 2GB RAM, Snapdragon 1.7GHz dual-core, Adreno 320 GPU. It's also IP65 Rated - Water/Dust Resistant. Looks like it also has a dedicated Camera button built onto it, 2.4MP front face, 13MP rear.
Can go to the site for more in-depth Specs on this beauty, I say beauty because it really does have a nice design to it! :good:
Have any of you seen it before on sites? what do you think about it? worth the money(It's definitely going to be expensive, I'm sure of it) ? Any other thoughts?
Sorry I can't post link to the site though, but you can just google search for it or jump to lumigon . com :highfive:

Please list which 5 upcoming android phones interest you the most. I compiled a list of possibilities below, but other new phones may be accepted. Discuss why if you want, add to the pros and cons.
Galaxy S3:
Pros – Exynos quad core 32nm processor that’s LTE capable, Ceramic casing, bezel-less design, ICS (rumoured to be stock vanilla not TW) 4.6+"large screen.
Cons – It’s all one big rumour for now. Plus will likely have TW.
HTC One X:
Pros – Tegra3 quin core, large 4.7” screen, 32GB storage plus 23GB dropbox, Bluetooth 4, 8MP 1080p recording. ICS, Available Now. Excellent Camera features.
Cons – No micro sd support, look of camera, heard dropbox only valid for 2 years. Debatable whether sense 4 falls in here.
LG 4x HD:
Pros – Tegra3 quin core, large 4.7” screen, 8MP camera w/1080p recording, good battery 2140mAh, NFC, Bluetooth 4, micro sd card ICS
Cons –MWC video demo seemed laggy
Asus Pad phone:
Pros – Versatile new phone concept that can fit in a tablet, dual core 1.5 GHz Krait a15 28nm processor, desirable 4.3 screen . Q2 release.
Cons – Possibly a pricy combo.
Droid Fighter:
Pros - Large 3300mAh battery, big 4.6 MP 720p screen, LTE, Bluetooth 4, ICS
Cons – possible rumour, nothing really known. Motoblur.
Motorola Atrix 3:
Pros – Tegra3 quin core, large 3300mAh battery, desirable 4.3” 720p screen, 10 MP camera. ICS
Cons – Almost all based on rumour with very little confirmed. Motoblur.
Fujitsu F12arc:
Pros – Tegra3 quin processor, highly water and dust resistant, Big 4.6” screen, 13 MP camera , 4GLTE (??? Thought it was incompatible with tegra 3 so far.)ICS
Cons – Unknown battery life, still ironing out ICS development glitches, maybe Q3 release or later.
Panasonic Eluga Power:
Pros - A fairly good processor 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, Big 5” screen, water and dust proof, 8 MP camera, Fast Charge, ICS
Cons –Mediocre battery 1800 mAh, global launch details still speculated.
Hauwei Ascend D Quad:
Pros – Fast quad core, lovely 4.5” screen 1080p recording, good size 2500mAh battery ICS
Cons – Quality unproven, GPU unknown, might be a bit late to the game Q3-Q4
Because I'm on att, I would have to pick Galaxy s3, atrix 3, HTC one x, LG 4x HD, and Asus padfone in that order. nice gathering of all the rumors btw!

Those are good choices. Tegra 3 is lovely and I hold a lot of respect for it, but the Exynos really intrigues me and 32nm will likely provide good power efficiency.
My list is similar Galaxy S3, Atrix 3, Fujitsu F12arc, HTC One X, Asus Padfone. Although the LG4x HD could easily be swapped for HTC One X. Optus didn't get any of the Atrix series though so I have to see what ends up here in Australia.
Im eager to see the eluga power.
Some more pros and cons for it:
Pro: Small form factor: As big as a galaxy nexus but with 5" Display, On Screen Buttons
Con: apparantly no LED Flash, no MHL or other video out, fixed battery
I have to add, that the device is ip57 certified - that means it is actually waterproof not only water resistant.

Good to see others adding additional info.
So voting for a tougher version, water proof version of the galaxy note with what should be a greater a15 version duo core s4 snapdragon processor is a great choice. A processor that is suppose to stand toe to toe with tegra 3. Or surpass it if certain benchmarks are to be believed.
The waterproof phones (I believed the F12arc also says waterproof, I don't list until I know it is) are now getting competitive processors, unlike the defy. Phones with great build and processors should always rank high on our lists. Glad to see someone voting that way. Just hope we get to see it. Aussie land hasn't seen the Razr Maxx yet, so I can only pray for the Eluga power or F12arc.
I wanted to get a discussion going about this line of 7" ICS tablets *coming soon* from Ainol. Ainol is a budget chinese brand, but has been establishing a name for itself after becoming the manufacturer of the first ICS tablet. I have played with an older Ainol model, the Paladin, which has a pretty nice build quality to it, but the crippling factor was that it used a MIPS processor that was incompatible with a number of popular apps. This line of tablets uses ARM processors, so there shouldn't be any app compatibility issues. Here are the tablets with a list of key features. I've listed in green what the upgrades are from the previous model.
Tornado $99
Screen: 800x480
CPU: 1ghz Cortex A9
RAM 1GB
Memory: 8GB or 16GB(+$20)
Camera: 0.3MP front
Micro SD slot
Mars $129
Screen: 1024x600
CPU: 1ghz Cortex A9
RAM 1GB
Memory: 8GB or 16GB(+$20)
Camera: 0.3MP front
Micro SD slot
ELF II $149
Screen: 1024x600
CPU: 1.5ghz Dual Core Cortex A9
RAM 1GB
Memory: 8GB
Camera: 2.0MP front
Micro SD slot
Mini HDMI
Aurora II $189
Screen: IPS 1024x600
CPU: 1.5ghz Dual Core Cortex A9
RAM 1GB
Memory: 8GB
Camera: 2.0MP front
Micro SD slot
Mini HDMI
It appears that they should be getting the Tornado and Mars tablets very soon, but the Elf II and Aurora II will not be available until May according to what I've read. Spemall appears to be a fairly reliable seller of android tablets. You can see them interacting with customers on their facebook page and twitter . They have posted pictures of the tablets and spec sheets on their facebook page as well. You may want to wait to order until they have given confirmation that they have stock on hand.
I like the look of these tablets. They have a nice clean modern look with a solid piece of glass covering the front. Most cheap chinese tablets are fairly ugly and have raised borders over the screen. I would find it hard to spend $189 on the Aurora II, especially since I'm expecting to see a Google/Asus tablet with the same specs coming in July for $200. However, the first three seem reasonably priced to me.
If you want to get a better idea of what these are like, check out this set of video reviews for the original Aurora. I believe they are using the same case/build style as the original Elf/Aurora on these new tablets. Really, the only difference between the original Elf/Aurora and the Elf II/Aurora II is the dual core processor. You can get the original Aurora for $169.

I've got an Elf (original model)
Its pretty nice, build quality is a bit...cheap, there's some creaks in where the bezel connect to the back plate, and this thing is unusable when its really hot.
But it does have a nice dev community and if you're not happy with that, just use some ROMs for the Aurora, they're pretty much the same, save for the IPS display on the Aurora.
But, thy buy a tablet like his nowadays, when the Nexus7 just managed to massively outclass these Chinese tablets

I just have ordered a Tablet PC, but not pay it yet. because it is 7 Inch Capacitive Screen Android 4.0 and only $79.5 , free shipping
I do not know whether it's worth!
looking forward more ideas!
Can you say more about this tablet? What is CPU, GPU, RAM etc?
the review looks good

Mali 400 is very good GPU in this GPU you can run most games!
And CPU A13 1GHz is too very good for this price! You can in this tablet watch fullHD movies and i think web browsing in for example Opera Mobile would be nice
I've got one of these similar devices. Trust me, they might sound good, but they fall apart if you plan to use it extensively. Mine randomly doesn't install apps for some reason, I have to install apps 3 - 5 times before they will install correctly. Pathetic.
The deal-breaker would be 512Mb RAM and 4GB Storage. If there's no expendable storage, you shouldn't buy.
by the way, check this one out

Hmmmmm..the other specs seems too good for the price..but..the resolution seems tooooo low for a tablet. 480x800 looks good on only smartphones. It will look ugly on a 7 inch tablet
Sent from my GT-i9100 equipped with Grenade Launcher and Remote Explosives
Tablet would be a good for development to test your apps. Not sure about daily usage though, might be a little janky......
That tablet sucks.
Cheapest tablet for the money is the Ainol Aurora. Anything cheaper will disappoint.

thanks, everyone!
this is one of the many models of the Chinese market. a 2-fold lower price it's a gimmick. Look on the characteristics of the tablet is mnogo.protsessor A13 is the cheapest right now.
There are a bunch of different models of the ICOO D50.
You have to read the specifications very carefully.
The one with 1024 x 600, HDMI out and 8 GB doesn't look bad.
Ainol Novo 7 Aurora II
Cortex A9 1.5 Ghz CPU, dual core Mali400 GPU, 7 inch LG IPS screen with 1024x600 resolution.

I can't post links yet
it depends on how you use it,don't expect it can work like ipad.
however the price is not good for this chinese tablet, maybe you can add a little to get a refurb. nook
good luck
here is a video of the tablet.... looks pretty good to me. main thing i worry about is the battery life.... 2600 ma.

I'm looking to buy a new device for me mum, which would you say is better?
both 5 inch HD screens. I would of easily gone with the moto g if it had 2gb ram. but the 1gb ram really puts me off. is there a similar phone as the moto g but with 2gb ram?
I can get the p6000 for £101 delivered.
Well, does your mum care software updates? If he cares, get Moto g. If not, i would pick p6000

Snapdragon usually means more battery efficient. Even with half the RAM, I think the Moto G (2nd Gen) is overall a more reliable and better quality product.
elephone p6000 screen glitches...
the elephone might seem a great steal for the first sight, i mean 4g lte, 2gb ram, 64-bit quad core and a 13mp camera.... but i would suggest a quick visit to their forums to know whats up as it has some unsmooth scrolling issues and no otg support plus e-compass glitches makes it an overall unreliable package, moto provides quality other chinese oems cant provide my friend.

yep, i've read on that, but the p6000 is one of the only chinese devices that have the stock google look. and i've read on how to fix the smooth scrolling issues. otg is not required, and the compass likewise. me mam just mainly uses phone to call, a lot of whatsapp with her friends (hence extra storage is needed) and watching videos. she doesn't browse much. and uses viber/skype/hangouts (those types of apps) nothing much else.
cubot x9!

ok i get ur point, btw check out a phone called cubot x9... it's an iphone 6 clone coming in at 6.9 mm a 8mp camera (interpolated to 13mp) and an 5mp front camera (8mp interpolated). If u wouldn't mind giving up on 4g then thats a good solid phone. i wanted to get it hence my moto g got hard bricked but i decided to just wait for the fix.

nope don't like the cpu, not good enough in my opinion. I've decided to scrap those two, and go for either a used galaxy s4 then flash the google play edition or get the zte blade s6 brand new from amazon for 170. the zte has snapdragon 615 and lollipop. would it be better to go for that?

ZTE Blade S6 is £160 here. There is no Gorilla Glass, but it looks like you need a case for this phone anyway since the actual house is fairly shoddy.

decided to go for the s4, got it for £140 in good condition. will convert to google play edition. and then all good to go.
TCL, also known as Alcatel, has released their new phone, the TCL 3S M3G for $160. Check out the specs below and click on the link for more info and to purchase it.
5" Sharp Display, 1920x1080
Snapdragon 615 Processor
2GB RAM, 16GB Storage
8MP Front camera, 13MP Back Camera
Android 5.0 Lollipop
3000mAh battery
Dual SIM, MicroSD
Fingerprint Sensor
I'm expecting decent battery life, a great screen since Sharp's Triluminos displays look amazing. I'm a little worried about the Snapdragon 615 though, knowing it's issues with performance and overheating, hopefully TCL can deal with that. Has anyone got this phone? Let me know what you think about it!

Coming soon!
Feedback on it so far - came loaded with popup adware of some sort, plus a couple apps that reported being malware by SmartClean. Killed those, but performance is still pretty weak. Microstutters everywhere, to the point where I'm sometimes unsure if it even detected the screen press or not. Trying to find out how to flash the stock rom on it at the moment.
