Hi,
Having this strange issue that when I receive a phonecall, the number which is displayed misses the first digit.
In my case the incoming phonenumbers should have a leading zero, but this is missing.
So, if someone calls me with telephonenumber 0123456789, only 123456789 is being displayed.
This makes it impossible to return a call easily.
I checked several settings but have no idea what causes this.
Does somebody have a clue what this can be?
With no replies I assume that nobody has seens this problem or knows a solution for it.
I will try to figure what might be the problem and report this.

hi dudez,
Sometimes when i got call i dont see name of call just show me number, There is a fix for this problem?
Thanx anyway,
ZPDY
that means the person calling you is not in your address book
I don't think zdpy means a person not in his address book!
I have noticed the same thing - intermittently.
The individual ringtones of CallerID aren't working at all on my Magician (I ALWAYS get the default ringtone), and sometimes even the name is not displayed.
I suspect this happens because I seem to have too many contacts (>600, overall >1500 phone numbers)...
I have been removed CallerID and still sometime show me only number with no name even the number store in my addressbook.
Hi there,
I'm sure you've probably overheard someone before say "I've got someone calling me that I don't recognise, anyone know what country starts +33?". I have too and would like to resolve it.
Does anyone know of a piece of software or hack which, when the number is not recognised on an incoming call, display the name of the calling country instead of the contact name?
Thanks!
Yeah that would be really helpful. I've been looking for something like this for ages now.
its not what your looking for but may help.

When i receive an incoming call, the number isnt there or either it is white which would blend in with the background. also the contact photo is blank. Does anyone have a solution to this???
I think that if you would specyfi what device you are talking about, what OS do you have and did you modify your theme, that would be helpful to diagnose the problem.
Besides, tell us what did you do BEFORE it happened. Does it happens with ALL incoming calls or just one number? Did you try to back up your contacts and re-format the device? etc... etc...

NVM it was the 28205 SYS. Thanks.
All incoming calls from people not in the contact list show caller ID name as "Restricted", despite the phone number being available. Sometimes the incoming number is displayed, sometimes it's not, depending on where the incoming call is shown. The number is always available in call history, and the caller's location is displayed. This is a huge headache, since some of us don't care for answering blocked callers.
This is not a carrier issue, but a glitch in the way the phone interprets the caller ID information.
Has anyone come up with a workaround or fix yet?
Same issue here. Quite frustrating.

I thought it was related to me having the google dialer framework installed.
Now I know I'm not alone. Yeah, pain in the butt.

Hi, I received and start using my galaxy watch 4 couple of days ago. However, I noticed there are no called ID shown on the watch when receiving incoming call. Missed call will show the caller name. I have checked all the permission are allowed for the wearable apps and phone app, contact app and etc. Didn't found much info around.
I tried many methods including factory reset the watch but still not fix it.
I tried remove the country code of the contact number on my phone. Finally it works, showing the caller ID on the watch when receiving call. But I have thousand of contacts with the country codes add infront of the phone number. It's massive work to remove all the country code one by one. Any one have any idea on what happening. I'm lost and could figure out what's the problem.
Anybody have a same issue and able to fix it?
I have this, somewhere else someone said that it's a known issue

I see. Any way can fix it?
And I have a similar one but with SMS Samsung. Only the sender's number, but no name (all people from the phone book). At the same time, SMS Google displays the name correctly ...
