[Q] Is possible to undervolt in CM11 devilkin or flinny? - HTC Desire S

Hello, I have been reading this forum during last year, but i'm new writing post's (my english is poor)
I remember that kylon CM11 04/01/2014 supports undervolt, but flinny and devilkin not.
Actually the roms are pretty stable, and would be excellent having undervolting control via vdd_tables or any other method.
I don't have enough privileges to post in development forum, so, can somebody ask flinny or devilkin if is possible to add support for undervolting in their CM11 Kernel?

[Q] Overclocking CM 10.1

Now that CM 10.1 is the only ROM being actively worked on for the A700, I've moved over to it.
Does anyone know of a kernel that allows overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU and is compatible with CM 10.1?
Here's hoping someone takes over now that Iconian isn't being supported anymore. I wish I could but I have no clue what I'm doing
Gavin
Hey dude,
In this topic (post #103, #104) they're talking about a kernel which has the OC and the UV for CM 10.1.
It's not Vorbeth's original stuff (but a lot of his work has been applied), so I think it's al right to give it a try.
Good luck!

[Q] [Kernel][CM9 - CM10.2] Default Kernels Collection

Hi guys
I've just signed up to this brilliant site and have been following the above thread and wanted to post this question there but wasn't able to, so here goes......
I have flashed my Samsung Galaxy Wi8150 with [ROM][JB][4.3.1][JLS36I] CyanogenMod 10.2 Alpha (Build 1) which installed Kernel v3.4.65 as standard. There is a new Kernel v3.4.66 which I am thinking of using but my question is.........
Does this new Kernel give a better Battery Life than the previous one since this seems to be one of the slightly problematic issues with this build?
Thanks in advance. :good:

[Q] CM11 OC Kernel development in progress???

Hi all. I know the CM11 ROM is relatively new and all, but according to what I could find and my knowledge of over clock kernals on the HTC ONE X (AT&T-Evita), there is only two recent ones....? I tried both, seems one is for Sense based ROM's only and the other is JB (4.3). I loved the ElementalX, but recently stepped up to this KitKat build (which isn't supported by ElementalX Kernal) and am spoiled now. Not wanting to back up in version ROM's to achieve CPU/GPU OC, but the reason I even began getting into customizing these Androids was for overclocking purposes to see the max potential of these!! Just wanting to know if there are any OC Kernels in progress. Please and thank you!
I think you're a bit confused. If you're looking in our Android Development section for 4.4 kernels you're looking in the wrong place, you'll only find Sense kernels (like Elemental) there. Have you searched our Original Android Development section? That's where you'll find aosp ROMs, and of course the kernels that are compatible with them. There are already 4.4 kernels available.
Sent from my Evita
All I've found is basic custom kernels for options and different software configurations. I've done so much searching my hairs turning gray!! Lol. I do have Root, S-Off, SuperCID, and now TWRP SeLinux for these 4.4 ROMs all thanks to you guys!
Anyway you could possibly send a link to a specific thread where I can find these kernels you speak of? Preferably the most popular and stable one...
BTW...awesome site! 5.4 million members for a reason!
Just read your signature and seen the "Torched KK Kernel" Trying it now. Thank you!!

Question - Wich LineageOS based ROM is Overclockable ?

Hi everybody.
I have testing some LineageOS based ROMs lately in my P5110 and P3110 and found no overclock option so far ?
Considering the low hardware profile in our tabs and the actual real overlclock, better user experience and battery tunning / real gain we get with some CyanogenMods 6.0.1, I see no point using, until now, the new LineageOS based ROMs!?
So I ask: Is there any known LineageOS ROM or compatible kernel with overclock potential that allows to improve the user experience as the "old" CM 6.0.1 does ?
Thanks

no
No luck here as well mate, I've been forced to stick with CM13 since OC and themes are a must for me
Best user experience, for me, is with CM 6.0.1 from "[ROM][P31xx][P51xx][MM][6.0.1][Linaro][SaberMod] CyanogenMod 13" (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2686613) and "[ KERNEL - AOSP] Dhollmen Espresso" from (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176563&page=138).
Can run everything I need with good speed and make tweaks to allow battery savings even possible!
Hello everybody.
I have read previous answers, thanks.
Considering the time since the original question, I would ask again:
1- if there is no option so far to add an overclocked kernel to our tabs ?
2- I am not a developer, but maybe I could get the info needed to build my own overclocked kernel and share it with the forum, where to start from ? I think these would really be faster for those already with the proper skills to do it! I mean: do you developers really use your tabs without overclock nowadays ?
Thanks again.

1-There is still no overclock available.
2-I am not a developer (yet) but I think the tab is fast enough as it is (running Slim7 if you want to know) and I don't think overclock is necessary. The place to start for building a kernel is google. I think I saw a guide in the past.
Also, keep in mind that devs make things because they want to and get no reward for that. So don't ask or press them to make anything. If you create your own kernel it will be greatly appreciated, but I think you wouldn't like people constantly asking you for something (and yes, overclock has been asked for a lot of times in the past).
