everything works fine, бut I have problems with bluetooth voice dialing. As I understand it, the problem is generally with Android 4.2.2
Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hi,
I have a Moto G and I would like to use it with my Audi A3 bluetooth kit (This is a kit that I rewired from another car to work with mine, nothing too complicated). It includes a single button on the dash that should answer calls, end calls, voice dial and redial last number (long press).
This worked great with my iPhone 4, not so well with my Moto G. The system answers incoming calls, redails and ends calls. But I cannot get the voice dial working very well.
I have tried using bluetooth launch to point at specific voice dialling applications, but it cannot work from the lockscreen. Also, the stock voice dialler is flaky at best, and requires google now to be open on the phone.
Any suggestions welcome please...

Same issue with my moto x and my jvc bluetooth deck.
With 4.2.2 Jellybean it worked flawlessly.
Updated to 4.4.2 last night and now I get a "not supoorted" error on the deck when I try to initiate voice dialing.
A similar problem with my XT1033 on android 4.4.2 and Toyota Prius '05. When a call sends from the car's native bluetooth kit, works fine. But when dialing on the phone or get an incoming call, the car system doesn't recognize that the call have started.
Anyone have a truly 'working' ROM that does BT dialing? I must have tried a dozen or more ROMs for my Desire S ranging from v2.3 up to v4.2 and still haven't found an 'every day' driver that has working Bluetooth Voice Dialing. Note: car kit doesn't count, has to work from headset. Have to be hands-free in CA. Oh, and I have to take job-site photos so camera has to work with no 'lock-ups'. I am very eager to DONATE to a working ROM effort.

I have a new XT1032, (unmodded KK 4.4.4) and I pair it with a Blackberry bluetooth VM-605.
I can receive calls just fine but I can´t dial out: the voice recognition says my command was not understood, also every time I tried to use the voice dialing the volume in the VM-605 gets lower and and lower until its inaudible (in about 3 attempts).
anyone has similar problems?
could this be a problem with the VM-605 or my phone.

Today after 3 days of using my new redmi note 7 pro I faced an issue I.e. bluetooth headset mic stopped working for calls on SIM2 only. Otherwise is working fine for SIM1 calls, whatsApp calls, facebook calls etc.
I tried to connect another bluetooth thinking there is some problem with my bluetooth headset but problem remained unchanged with another bluetooth headset too.
Now it is clear that issue is with some settings on phone. Does anybody know abt it. Please help

What ROM have you installed? This issue is present in MIUI 12 ROM and already have this issue raise to the EU Team for resolution about Bluetooth issue in Redmi Note 7 Pro

Hi I am experiencing 2 severe bugs I found on my Mi MIX 2S running Xiaomi.eu 9.12.12 rom.
I fresh installed (with full wipe and data format) the rom from an AOSP android 10 rom (Arrow OS 10), which was installed from a stock MIUI 11.0.4 Global stable rom base.
Issue 1) While in call, i can not hear anything from earpiece, and the person on the other end can not hear anything from me either. If I switch on Speaker mode, both sides can hear well. And bluetooth headset works fine in call too. I tested my mic and earpiece using test app,and it works fine so it's not a hardware problem for sure.
Issue 2) while in Android Auto or Bluetooth mode in a car, and place a call from car infotainment system (like in android auto screen) using Google Voice (so a phone call initiated from Phone dialer will route to Google Voice app then make the call), the call can not be made. It will pause the music for few seconds then resume playing music. I noticed i have to unlock the phone itself and then start the call from car stereo (either bluetooth phone call interface or Android Auto), then it works fine. Is this a MIUI problem or xiaomi.eu rom issue?
Anyone on any type of rom has similar problems like these? Thanks for the help!
