I found home screen text appears blurred , feels like home screen is crashed , after playing high graphic games like real racing 3, virtual tennis challenge. Is anyone facing the same issue ? Is there any solution to fix it? Looking forward to answers. Thanks in advance

I am also facing the same issue. The home screen turns totally black after some gaming or sometimes after some apps. Don't know what to do or how to solve the problem. Also can not open the service menu by *#*#636#*#* code, it does not work. When I put the code, just nothing happens, the dial pad remains same. What about your device?
Waiting for next update, hope they fix this graphics issues ASAP.

Actually what does this service code do, sry i have no idea. But i tried this code i am not getting anything... And regarding graphic issue, i could able to fix only after restarting... Also sometimes i tried fixing by quiting the game and wait sometimes and then use homescreen menus. But the latter is not working all times...

I'm pretty sure this bug is Stock Launcher specific - I've had it using the Stock launcher, never using Apex.

Sorry that was typing mistake. I enter the code *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Actually no codes work on my device. I am really worried about that.
This is weird, I have no clue what could cause this. I am not so experienced on this phone as well.

Already tried HW overlays, build.prop mods, WiFi optimization off, nearly threw my phone on window. Still flickers on apps with BLACK background. (e.g poweramp, GTA SA, etc etc.) the flickering disappears on apps with WHITE background (e.g Opera classic, play store, etc) any help? will be appreciated
Android 4.2.2 running AOSP
EDIT: the problem doesnt appear to show at logcat, and whenever I take a screenshot, the white lines (it comes after flickering. this white lines appear at the bottom of navigation bar or should i say under the screen.) doesnt appear on the screenshot. i think this is a hardware problem. tried factory reset, change rom, etc etc.

This is known to happen on clone devices due to using sub par hardware parts. IT is even harder to fix without the kernel source for the device.

Youre right sir. Its a clone of XOLO a500l. But I just went today on my phone's customer service and they said that the LCD needs a replacement? I cant understand this problem. Is it hardware related or software related? Btw thanks for your response sir!

Most likely the hardware gave it. This not new when they use sub par hardware.
Hi all,
Since a couple of days my OPO is doing crazy things on the display. Unfortunately I cannot post here any pics or video.
BUT you can find a video of my screen issue if you search for "OPO touchscreen error, lagged response, only showing piled fragments" on forumsDOToneplusDOTnet
It started out of nowhere, sometimes it goes back to normal and works flawless for some minutes only.
Issue: Touch responses are lagged, it's hard to impossible to navigate on the screen, the display changes constantly showing random fragments of the same piled up.
Has anyone seen something like this before?
Is it rather a hardware or a software issue?
Any suggestions of how to repair it?
Thanks a lot.

Try that, then only we can confirm if that's sw or hw.
The touch recognision time on the lower part of the display (corners more likely) is really slow (up to 1 second)
I already did a screen calibration via the app "Touchscreen Repair" but it didn't fix the problem.
Anybody knows what's up with that? How do I fix this? Can this be fixed with a future update? Anybody else having this problem?

It's noticable in some instances with some apps like chrome and YouTube, but it's nothing major and it's not all the time. I use gesture navigation and it's pretty quick to respond every time.

Most likely. There has only been 1 update so far. They rely a lot on user input and when it comes to updates, they are very fast.

Sometimes tapping doesn't register the first time here. I'm using a custom ROM but before that I flashed the latest firmware components. No idea if it's the ROM or the governor or another thing.
Edit: It's the custom ROM. Stock is fine.
Those who don't know there are some people having ghost touch issues on POCO f1 and one guy able to capture it on the video. I personally didn't had the issue but after trying I was able to recreate the issue on my device. soon after I found the cause and able to fix the issue. this may or may not work on your device but absolutely worked for me. this seems to be a software bug. and no-one needs to panic. hopefully it will be fixed in next update.
how to recreate the issue?
Steps
1. download a multi touch tester app I used this
2. first do some testing yourself see if you can spot the issue
3. now do 3 finger swipe down (phone will take screenshot)
4. now randomly touch your screen with 1 or 2 fingers you'll notice 1 or 2 ghost touches.
How to fix Fix it?
Steps
1. go to settings>additional settings>button and gesture shortcuts>take a screenshot
2. and set it to none.
3. reboot
that's it!
the issue should be fixed
please let me know whether this worked for you or not
Yes.
As you mentioned issue was there.
But fixed with those steps.

Good stuff. I was skeptical at first since I knew something was off sometimes. Thanks for confirming it. Should be fixed if they took notice of this bug.
Thanks! The issue is 100% reproducible with the app. By turning off 3 finger screenshot shortcut, the issue goes away.
Guys, please file a bug, so this can be fixed and we can go back to using this feature.
1.Yes, that issue is due to the screenshot feature, but shouldn't the phone be able to distinguish between 3 finger touch and more than 3? Either take screenshot on four finger swipe or register it.
2.Can you please confirm if there is accuracy problem in PUBG aiming when you use multitouch? Like the multitouch bugs in Pixel and Zenfone Max Pro but quite subtle, the thing about the other devices are, they look and have been acknowledged by the respective companies regarding the issue but in our case, Xiaomi or Poco is making no announcement or anything.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5K2N6McC_s
The issue comes up after taking a 3 finger screenshot, but disabling may not be the only solution as this feature is quite useful also
What I have noticed is that after taking screenshot ghost touch is there till we use 1,2 or 3 fingers. Once we use 4, 5 or higher fingers the issue goes away.
Isn't it better to just touch screen with 4 fingers after taking a screenshot which somehow resets the ghost touch issue.
Have tried this solution with multi touch tester app
Mine is just fine even when 3 finger swipe screenshot is switched on
I can confirm that ghost touch issue still persist even when disabling three finger screenshot.
Mostly visible in pubg.
Great, fix worked
I didn't relize the issue but nice posting
Stop it! This is not an issue. It happens on mostly every phone that supports gestures. Test it on OnePlus 6 and you will get the same result.

Exactly! There is no need to prove this issue because Google itself confirms that they have done a mistake by releasing it in Oreo and they have also promised to give a fix in later Pie updates. And people who wants proofs can look up in the internet about the "Multi touch Oreo Bug" problem and how it effects user experience rather than spamming here to make a point.

Dude, google fixed the issue in the May or June patch and all other OEM's had to merge their builds to fix it. The problem is not there in MiA1 or MiA2.
Here is the bug:

Thanks
Maybe the original solution for 8.1 and P devices will work for this? It will either cause a bootloop, do nothing, or fix it... worth trying! Obviously an unlocked bootloader is needed for this (Magisk).

Okay, this is weird. Which version is it? And did you have already tried to reset your device? If it's still there it's probably a hardware defect.

Right, so no fix really... disappointing as the cameras are impressive
My device came shipped with Android Pie Based Miui 11, no screen weirdness. Just after the Android 10 updates that ghost touches appear. So I guess it's just software bug.
me too, sure software problem.
Thanks for the feedback, if software-related were you able to roll back to fix this?
Happy to try a workaround as I'm very reluctant to send it back..
worth a try though, but unfortunately Xiaomi didn't provide stock ROM specifically for my region so I left with no choice
Completely puzzled as I did a Factory Reset via Recovery and haven't seen the issue for past 2 days, I've left the screen touch tracing on and no 'ghost touch' was recorded..
so I don't know what to believe anymore, got an open return ticket but would hate to send it back without needing to..
how can I make sure issue is gone?
Hi, i had this problem 3 weeks ago, temporary solved with hard reset, worked perfectly until yesterday night when this problem went back.
Hard reset again, problem still there.
Someone solved it permanently?
It is really weird because, if i turn off/on the display, sometime works sometime not :S
The phone came with Android 9 and I started to face this after updating to Android 10. The issue is not extreme as shown in the video, it just the touch becomes slow to respond and hard to type fast with the keyboard. Turning off the screen and turning back on solves it temporarily sometimes.
I tried disabling on screen fingerprint and the problem seems to be reduced now. Definitely a software bug
I'm using Mi note 10 lite it also has same problem. Sometime touch freezing and after press power button automatically fix. Some time need to restart. And also one person told me he is fixed by this issue by turned off fingerprint sensor.

I have the exact same problem as you, slow to respond and hard to type. Need to apply more force on the screen for it to respond. This happened randomly throughout the day but are more common during night time for me.
I think it has something to do with the screen lock pin or fingerprint, by changing the screen lock from ie pin to pattern or turning off fingerprint print seems to temporary fix the issue. Another solution is to reboot the phone. I'm using Note 10 Lite btw.

Try switching off MIUI optimization under Developer Options and restart your device. Then switch it On and restart again. This workaround solved my issue.

This fixed the issue for a few days and it started to reappear again. When the issue appears, if I turn on Game Turbo for any app (eg: WhatsApp) that particular app doesn't have this touch issue. Looks like a software optimization or battery optimization of MIUI is causing this issue

This is definitely a software ISSUE with MIUI.
