So I'm on a Verizon non dev edition moto X running stock 4.4.2. The network got released yesterday and I am unable to stream anything from it. The app crashes every time I try.
I've dealt with the customer support and they transfer me, and I get disconnected.
Anyone have any ideas? Anyone get it working on 4.4.0?
I'm having the same issue with my 2013 Nexus 7. Early yesterday the app was causing my device to reboot, now the app just force closes, so I guess progress is being made.

I'd say early release jitters. I didn't even see videos on the site. I'd say give it a week to iron out the kinks.

Thanks to reddit, this is fixed. Turns out it doesn't work with ART. switched back to Dalvik and it's all good.

Anyone else having a problem getting the XDA app working? It loads up ok and I can log in but as soon as I try to open a post it crashes.
I have tried in in Prime 1.7 and stock and I have the same result with both.
I was yesterday. 1 in 6(give or take) posts would cause it to crash.
Yep, regular crashes for me, requiring me to log back in each time - gone back to website.
I'm having this issue too. I wonder if the app has an issue with 3.2 honeycomb.
Me to! Have to use Tapatalk to read XDA! I wonder if the premium version works ok? I've had the problem on 3.1 stock and Prime 1.6r2...
Same problem here.
The free version is known to not work properly on the TF, and has been for ages, no matter which version of Honeycomb you are on. Until it gets an update (not been updated since march), you'll either have to buy the premium version (which was updated and works fine), or use another app like Tapatalk.

If I'm logged in on another device I seem to have FC until I log out on the other device.

logging out from another device will still cause xda to FC. tapatalk for the win!!!

Has anyone else tried using google hangouts video chat with their phone? Mind you I am running the sense 5 rom. Every time I start a video chat with my girl on the phone, over wifi or data, it automatically freezes and resets my phone. Any ideas?
I'm also on Sense 5, I'll test when my lady gets home in a couple of hours.

I can confirm video call is not working for me either on Sense 5.

Thank you. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. I'm not sure if it is the Rom or the app itself. I've read other forums talking about video problems with the app and I know ATT restricted video chat over their network but I am on wifi and it still does not work. If I don't get any other help here, I'll post the problem in the rom thread itself see if I can get a bigger audience.
I'm on the Telstra network here in Australia, so you can rule out the ATT problem, especially seeing as you're using Wi-Fi. Try recording a logcat and posting it for Imagio to look at.

I have been following this thread. I'd test on viper but I have nobody to test with
Haha alright I'll try a go at it again this weekend if I have time and get a logcat of it.
Video calling in hangouts isn't working for me either. Not sure when it will be fixed but we are working on it. Got a lot to do at the on this rom right now.
Same issue on my galaxy nexus
Was gonna say i know a few of you were on sense 5 but when that guy posted about his gnex with the problem i ruled the ROM out. I'll test later when on WiFi.
I could have sworn mine worked but maybe not. Is it force closing on you guys? If so when?

Is there a thread for these two apps? Ever since they released the new UI for these 2 apps I've had nothing but force close issues on startup. It never fails. It will open and look fine but as soon as I open a thread or start to scroll down it force closes. But the strange part is I can reopen the app immediately and it works fine. It does not matter which device I use. For awhile I thought it was because I was rooted but now I have an HTC one still haven't rooted or modified it in any way and still having the exact same issue. I have been reporting this crash since the day the update came out. I'm losing more and more respect with tapatalk with each update.
If this will not be fixed any time soon what are your opinions on a good alternative app?

Hey guys,
I recently purchased my Droid ultra and I'm loving it. The only thing is that every time I hit software update it tells me that there's no software update available.
As you can see I'm probably on the version of the software that came out of the box.
I know that on Nexus phones you could force the update by going to setting and clearing cache of Google services framework. Is there a similar way to force an update on this device?
Stock / not rooted
Thanks for your help guys.
Ps. I'm on straight talk... Dunno if this makes a difference or not.

Hi everyone,
I have been reading this forum for well over a year and took the plunge into trying the Android L preview on my Nexus 5 32 GB. I am loving the way the software functions on my nexus 5 except i am having one issue. The phone i installed it on is a secoundary phone i have connected with sprint. When i am using the phone for a phone call and i get an incoming call I do not see who is calling and the phone doesn't show who is calling. Any ideas?

Go back to stable releases. It's a preview release, not a daily driver (though quite stable)

I am fully aware that it is developer preview, I was just wanting to see if anyone had an idea about that bug
