Sideload or push a custom rom to flash in recovery or flash the stock rom in fastboot and you`ll be fine.

OK, but i stuck in that moment of loading a system when you see google's logo and i cant' go out from that.

Press power for about 10 seconds and it should shut down, after that press volume down and power and you`ll get into the bootloader.

OK! Thanks all works. I haven't know that i should press off button that long in that case, but now i would . Thanks again.

Ok it's me again. I thought that everything is ok when i flash system but now it's stuck again but this time in that screen with four color and that animation.

I take it you flashed the whole rom in fastboot and not only the system.img like described in the link i posted above.

Ok funny thing i try to flash again from diffrent usb port and it's work. Now i'm setting everything like langue so i think it will be ok now.

Bricked?

Hi guys.
Just after downloading and installing the new update for my Desire S, it now seems to be bricked...
It installed succesfully, rebooted, and it was stuck at the bootscreen.
Then I pulled out the battery, booted again and still stuck at the bootscreen.
I can get into "hboot" (holding volume down+power) but when I select "recovery" in that menu, it shows a red explanation mark.
How can I fix my phone?!
Thanks!
try to reinstall recovery image then go to recovery and flash any backup.
until u can go to bootloader thats good

1. Download this http://www.4shared.com/get/JeuI2H2s/...YIMG-3200.html
2. Rename to PG88IMG.zip and put on sd-card
3. boot with vol-down pressed
4. wait.. press vol-down (yes) to install
5. reboot with vol-down pressed
6. select recovery and press enter.
7. wait
8. use recovery
does that help?
@Adidas108: thanks again! yeah I think for the next months I stay with stock need to relax a bit after this

Although I don't know how people having this problem can get the PG88IMG.zip on the sd-card, just a tip; I used a sd-card reader.
UPDATE: Yeah, it worked! thank you man!
good for u man
never pull out battery.better use volume up+down+power button to restart phone.
cheers
Glad to hear you sorted it. An I'm glad I stumbled across this because I am guilty of doing numerous battery pulls x x glad I know about this reset technique now. Thanks again guys. Also I would recommend Endymion Rom sense 3.5. No problems as of yeaterday and really smooth. I even have around 250mb free ram most of the time. Happy flashing.

TWRP asking for password

After unboxing my Nexus 5, here's what I did:
1. Booted into bootloader
2. fastboot oem unlock
3. Flashed TWRP v2.6.3.0
4. Booted to recovery
The screen that greeted me says "Please Enter Your Password".
I can hit the cancel button below this which takes me to the normal TWRP screen. I then pushed SuperSU to /sdcard, but when I flash it it fails because it's unable to mount /cache or storage.
When I reboot to the system, it takes an awfully long time (approximately 30s) to progress past the "Google" screen, and then it just seems to sit on the booting animation forever.
Any help?
EDIT: Solved my own problem.
Hit cancel at the password screen, then go into Wipe and then do a factory reset by swiping. Then go back into Wipe and press the 'Format data' button. You have to type 'Yes', and it will take a few seconds. After that everything should work normally.
You forgot to reboot after OEM unlock

Ah, that might explain it. So after you do an OEM unlock, you need to reboot back into the bootloader? Or reboot into the system? And then you flash recovery?

Thanks so so much for your informative edit. I had the exact same issue, solved it perfectly for me. Cheers
Haha at least i wasn't the only one to do this! I guess you need to boot up the device after a oem unlock before you try to flash the recovery... who knew haha
Thanks for the solution!
Now, i have a issue, i did this also and i didn't reboot. My phone seems to be stuck in a boot loop. Should i go threw the motions of flashing a ruu to it?

If you don't have anything on the phone. Just flash the factory image, and everything will be good as new.

You should discuss your issue in the Xperia Z sections.
This happened to me, and caused me a real rough time flashing anything. I bought the phone used, and since I've never used the function, I didn't know what was happening. The previous owner encrypted it. Really messed me up. After I realized it, I managed to wipe everything and restore stock 4.4.2.

Many thanks from me too!
I've got the described problem by attempting to install a KK ROM on my Xoom. After the TWRP update I also got this "Enter password" dialogue.
Your solution helped very much.
I had the same problem. all you need to do is to set your screen lock to none.(go to settings, security, screen lock, and then select none)

[Q] Attempted CM11 Upgrade Gone Wrong

So I've installed/changed ROMs numerous times but must have slipped up this time.
Attempted to use TWRP to install CM ROM; got an error (can't recall exactly). Used TWRP option to reboot and now I'm stuck in an endless Asus logo loop.
I can get to the 3 icon screen (RCK - Android - Wipe Data).
What are my options at this point?

Did you upgrade your recovery to a cm11 compatible one first like it says to in the cm11 thread? Either flash your old Rom back or upgrade your recovery to CWM 6.0.4.6+ or TWRP 2.6.3.2.

Is there a way to get back into TWRP? Only thing I can seem to get to is the 3 icon menu.

The tablet drained down to 0% overnight (due to the boot loop). I downloaded your file and transferred it to the microSD card and then plugged in the tablet to charge.
Now when I try to start it up I can't get back to the 3 icon screen just the Asus logo and "The device is unlocked" in the upper corner.

I rooted/unlocked the device more than a year ago; didn't right any of that down so no idea.
Last ROM I was using was a CM build.
Never used fastboot or adb (AFAIK) so no idea if I can; never pulled a logcat - is there a process for that somewhere to follow?
UPDATE - it appears I can get into APX mode - PC doesn't find the drivers so that's my next step. Once done what are my options?
No luck on TF700 APX drivers. Windows sees it as "Unknown Device". Found 1 thread on Google that referenced TF700 APX drivers but the file it links to is gone.

HELP Restoring phone after bricked

Yesterday my phone died for no reason, and i've been trying everything i can to restore it...
What heleped me a little was the QFIL software, and downloading with it the Color OS.... the problem is that i can't access the fastboot, and the recovery boot only lets me wipe cache and data...
anyone knows how to acces the fast boot??? or is there a way to install CM12 and TWRP with QFIL??
I really need to preserve some data already in the phone, so i havent risked the chance to wipe everything...

question about particular stock firmware ?

so i went to this website:
https://romfirmware.com/2017/07/28/huawei-honor-6x-bln-l24/
and it has some different firmware things for the honor 6x BLN L24 model.. and one of them is a point version variant that says can be flashed through twrp?
will this work should i trust this?
edit// on the site it says the version for it is BLN-L24C567B360 however mine is BLN-L24C567B366 (5.0.1 EMUI..i think B360 is EMUI 5.0?)

okay so i read on a thread for the honor 7 having two recovery images... one being the stupid erecovery crap and the other being normal recovery menu? and i guess im able to get both regular and twrp running together on two different partitions somehow?

i still use adb reboot recovery to boot into the regular recovery menu ? (not erecov)
alright.. im stuck again.. i rebooted to recovery and it gave me 3 options. reboot, wipe data/factory reset, and wipe cache partition... what do i do to install the firmware??
see its almsot 4 am for me right now.. if you could just talk me through this i would be okay..
never mindd i looked at your previous reply

nothings working still . camera, sound videos, etc.. still broken.. phone still rooted.. i followed this other ugie i saw on here where you wipe all partitions and things and then do the file from dload and things, and it still stuck at 5%?
heres another question.. when i went through the firmware finder i got 3 files.. update.zip, update_data_full_public.zip, and update_full_BLN-L24_hw_usa.zip they all contain a update.app file... am i using the right one? im using the one from update.zip
now it appears to be stuck at the boot animation screen.. fml
//edt: standby... i actually havent finished the guide..
yup.. i dun ****ed up.... i cant use adb to reboot to recovery.. say null device not found..
i can go into fastboot by doing power and vol down... if i do vol up and power to try to get into recovery/twrp/whatever, it does nothing and does the normal booting process.. holding all three down just does the automatic sd card install thing that doesnt work... what do i do? i think i ****ed it up
well as far as i can tell my phone is bricked cant boot into recovery via key presses or adb.. i get device not found on adb..
fastboot works and i can flash still but i cant get into twrp or anythin i dont know why..
if i let it boot it just stays at the bootloading animation..
am i able to do factory reset from fastboot?
//edit: i did fastboot erase userdata accoring to some websites online.. no success in booting... is there anything i can do at this point?

Disconnect the phone from the usb and switch off. Turn on and hold the power button + vol up when you see the Honor logo release power button but still hold the vol. Now you should be in recovery, perform factory reset
