My Google wallet works wonderfully on CM11
Dunno about TW. A long while back someone said you could edit your build prop file and trick it into think you're on a different network since Verizon blocked Google wallet

I extracted the Google wallet apk from the 2.3.7 update the nexus s got but keeps fc I tried fixing permissions through cwm and fixing it through root explorer just wondering if someone knew how to get it working

There's a chip that belongs in the nexus chipset that we don't have..that's why we can't get google wallet can't remember what it's called though.

Got it working on mine on multiple TW roms. Maybe you downloaded a bad zip. Try downloading another one and flash away.

I believe he means why isn't it included with the standard 4.2 gapps package and I too am wondering this. I read somewhere it had something to do with it not being open sourced yet but I could be wrong.

I have sgs3 Verizon with cm 10.1. I want to edit certain apps to not use gps (facebook). I like how miui has the function but is there an app for other roms? O know ive heard of an app that does it but cant remember it.

I have version 2.0 with stock build prop and have made a successful purchase. Some people are having problems though, but it's worth a shot.

If you don't have the old version already installed, follow the instructions in the OP, then update it using my method.

Other required reading: Install the xposed framework installer (must be rooted, natch), and the Google Wallet module for it.
Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 on android 4.3 cant get it to work with AT&T Straight Talk
I've tried everything putting it in global and putting it in gsm modes restarting hard resetting refreshing 4.3 stock and its just not working any ideas?

You must Google the appropriate APNs and use those. Then reboot

Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work I tried the one from stbyop and a few I found on here and on android central that didn't help me. . And I dint want to flash the phone to straight talk
