Hi
I just unrooted my Asus Eee pad Transformer, but I have a problem with Ubuntu installation, I download the followings:
Ubuntu.img
&
linux-flash-kit.tar.gz
The second folder in tar.gz is necessary to choose how to install, I prefer to use file for a dual boot and for this there is "flash-linux-android.sh" file but I think that I must use to run under ubuntu desktop and not Windows, anyway I don't understand how because in Ubuntu I don't know where and if there is APX mode.
The problem is that I don't Understand how to start and where I have to put files and if I can use Ubuntu Desktop or Windows.
I saw a lot of video on Youtube and all use Windows desktop but now I ask your help.
Could you tell me step by step how and where to put all files for a right setup?
PS: I want to tell you that I have a problemi to find and download the following file necessary ( form Lilsteffy) to start installation: rootfs.ext2
If you could suggest a link where I can download, I will appreciate your one.
Thanks a lot.

Hello sir,
please can anyone help me to install DSL (which stands for DAMN SMALL LINUX)/XP/win98/win95)'s .iso file into a .img file (which is a virtual hard disk flat .img file). I just wanted to run DSL/XP on my android ICS tablet using 'bochs'.
Here i am following the foot print of tutorial about install windows xp and run into android http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1465365.html
firstly I am using DSL's .iso intead of windows xp's iso,
I created .img file of 1gb using bximage.exe succesfully,
in qemu manager- created new virtual machine,
into cdrom I put dsl.iso, and into hard disk0 I putted c.img which I created with bximages.exe.
click green run button and DSL insttaled/running fine, but when I check back c.img file to copy into my android, crap... it is unused/untouch by qemu maneger as befor it was. what is the problem with qemu manage that it is not installing the os into c.img file ???
why c.img file is untouched yarrr even when I selected the c.img as hd0 why it's not writting OS into the virtual hard disk image file.
please give me answer as fast as it can be give. I am just crazy about to run other os's on my android tablet
well firstly I'll use DSL and after that XP etc.
hope someone will help me. :'( please explain
I have a Samsung Galaxy S flashed with CM10. As part of my exploration I am trying to create an image of this ROM and run it on the Android AVD. I have done a Nandroid backup of my phone and copied the files to my PC, which has all complete Android SDK with AVD.I have gone through all the posts related to this subject on xda. Have not been able to do this . Any help is most welcome, if it can be a step by step guide it would be great because I have no development exposure in Android.
I have attached the file list of Nandroid Backup in my PC folder.
Thanks in Advance.
