Hi I have had my Samsung GT-S5830i for a few months now but have never managed to access the internet other then through Wi-Fi at home. Furthermore I have never been able to connect to any free Wi-Fi away from home say in a pub. Is there something in settings that is preventing this?
I am with Giff Gaff that uses the 02 network.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, I am a noob and have some questions about the new Shadow II I got last week from T-mobile.
I was at a hotel and was able to get onto the internet using its free wifi through my laptop. I tried to connect to the internet through the hotel's wifi using the Shadow II, but it kept saying I am not subscribed to web2go. I checked the wifi and it said wifi is available and connected. I was told by T-mobile salesman that the Shadow II will access the internet if it can access wifi, even without the data plan subscription. I was able to access gmail, but unable to get onto the net. Even then, one of the email the Shadow II said was too big to access.
Is there any settings I need to do to access the internet through the Sahow II? Any help and suggestion would be appreciated. TIA!

Go to bestvpnservice i hope this web helps you
I hope the above methods will work. I was using a vpn beforehand and I was not satisfied with the services. Finally I got a vpn client i.e. Hotspot Shield for mobile which offers me complete system security and keeps my online activities safe from online snipers. I am using it on my iPhone 5 and it works seamlessly on my device.
Hey there,
I have a nexus 5 for about an month now. Just got the OTA to 4.4.3.
Everything seemed to be working perfect. But now i have a mobile network problem.
I can connect to 3G network. It says i'm connected but when i try to load a webpage for ex. google.com.
Nothing happens. It trys to load it but after 1 minute it says no internet connection. I can even send whatsapp messages when connected to 3G.
This all changes when i change to 2G everything works then but is really slow, but thats normal with 2G.
I cant try to connect to 4G because it is not available in my region.
Could someone please help me?
EDIT: There was a problem with the celluar tower nearby. I got it fixed now!
I recently upgraded to the S6 and am unable to get on the internet while I am on a phone call unless I am connected to Wi-Fi, I did not have this issue with the S5 so am wondering if there is some sort of setting I need to change? Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
Turn on WCDMA only.
HI
I work in a university which uses the Eduroam wifi network. My phone has a strong signal and connects to it fine but my watch doesn't recognize it as even being there. Does anyone know why this might be? Are there certain networks the watch won't work with? It picks up all kinds of other random networks just not the one I need to connect to.
I tried phoning the Samsung helpline and they didn't know, and the guy in the support center didn't even realize that these watches worked on wifi lol.
Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received!
Hi,
Thats because those hotspots need a 'login ID' (username / password), and thats not supported on the watch i think.
Kind regards.
Thanks. That's a real pain as the main reason I bought it was so that I could wander the entire university campus without my phone. Can't believe the people at Samsung helpline didn't know this
