[Q] Nexus 5 wont get 3g internet but will 2g internet - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there,
I have a nexus 5 for about an month now. Just got the OTA to 4.4.3.
Everything seemed to be working perfect. But now i have a mobile network problem.
I can connect to 3G network. It says i'm connected but when i try to load a webpage for ex. google.com.
Nothing happens. It trys to load it but after 1 minute it says no internet connection. I can even send whatsapp messages when connected to 3G.
This all changes when i change to 2G everything works then but is really slow, but thats normal with 2G.
I cant try to connect to 4G because it is not available in my region.
Could someone please help me?
EDIT: There was a problem with the celluar tower nearby. I got it fixed now!

Live Messenger and HSDPA

I am running Windows Live Messenger 10.6.34.0800 and have problems connecting when using HSDPA. The first time I try to sign in I get the error message "There's a connectivity problem. Make sure you're in an area with good reception and try again".
I have to click on retry to successfully sign in. Also, I need to click on retry straight away. If I wait a few seconds it still wont work. Does anyone have an idea why it takes two tries to sign in to Messenger? No problems with WiFi or Bluetooth connection, just HSDPA. Im running the HTC Polaris and I have a PAYG 3 UK sim card.
Thanks!

Not getting SMS or calls on Wifi

Unrooted 4.4.2. I switch to wifi when I get home. The past week I haven't been getting texts or calls when on wifi. No problems on LTE. I'm on Tmobile. I haven't installed any new apps in that time frame. I just got the 4.4.2 update last night, didn't fix the problem.
do you even get cell signal in your house?

Yes I get a good 3 to 4 bars always at home. No problem with the signal. Just problem with text and calls coming through over WiFi. All other push programs like gmail and exchange come through no problem over WiFi.
I'm having this issue, too. Driving me crazy.
I have Comcast internet. Could something have changed there? I haven't done any fireware updates on the router. I did just remember I had to restart the router because it went down. Maybe I need to disconnect and delete all WiFi settings and reconnect?
Google says this is a common problem but can't find anything on here. I'm on Sprint, btw.

Delayed data connection (of sort) on AT&T LTE

So for the past week, I've been experiencing this oddball issue with LTE connectivity on my Nexus 5 on AT&T. For some reason, my data connection isn't immediate, but delay of sorts. IE when I do a google search or open up a website on chrome, there's about a 10 seconds delay after you start the search or entering in the url before you get your results/webpage. I don't think its due to a slow connection because this occurs when I have full bars for signal strength. Normally search or chrome is immediate when the LTE wasn't acting up or on wi-fi. Plus once it connects, its full speed as normal. It's as if the phone is waiting for something, times out after 10 seconds or so, than starts pulling in the data from the network. Also, the LTE signal never drops. According to the status bar, the LTE and network connection is always there the entire time.
Has this happen to anyone else? Let me know if any clarification is needed? It's a little confusing and I'm not sure what's actually going on. Not sure if its the phone or the network?
Exact same problem here

[Q] Cyanogenmod 11 Mobile Data Connecting

I recently bought a Moto G US GSM Unlocked and a Straight Talk Unlimited plan. I put Cyanogenmod 11 on the phone before installing the sim card, then installed the sim card and set everything up. I had to use the AT&T card for my area.
The problem I'm having is connecting to mobile data (HSDPA and HSDPA Plus). When I turn the phone on it takes several minutes for it to get a data connection. I have full bars (or some bars, depending on where I am) but no H or H+ icon, no internet connection. The same thing happens after turning off WiFi, it takes some time to get the data connection. Then after it does get the connection it cycles between H and H+ randomly.
I have researched the APN settings I should be using, and found a great thread on androidcentral with a bunch of people trying different settings. The settings I am using now let me send and receive texts and mms, and use internet. But it still takes a long time to connect when the phone first starts or I turn off WiFi.
Is this normal? If not, what could be causing this? It's frustrating because I plan on using WiFI almost exclusively while at home and turning if off when I leave. I don't really want to wait several minutes after leaving for the phone to get it's internet connection back.
Thanks

P905 International Version, GSM works only, not registered network issue on LTE

Hi all,
I was using my P905 international version with LTE before my EU trip.
In EU, I lost the 4G connection in roaming. When i came back to home country, i found out LTE is not working, when i attempt to make a call, i get not registered network message and lose connection.
But I have phone function and EDGE internet in GSM only mode.
IMEI number is correct, and it is same as original.
Try to solve problem, I made factory reset more than 10 times. I installed Hong Kong, Taiwan region roms Kitkat and Lollipop, even Lineage os from here. But no luck, no LTE anymore.
When i play around with *0011# and Q > 0000>UE Settings & info > setting>Protocol>
I receive 4G connection for a while then I lose it again.
I tried Auto/Manual Network Choose too, nothing works but GSM only.
I checked EFS files, everything seems correct, no corrupted file there as I understand.
Do you guys have any idea how to solve LTE connection problem?
I think i found a solution. Not sure.
I download the CP / MODEM file from following link.
https://zfirmware.com/samsung-galaxy-note-pro-12-2-p905-repair-firmware/
I made hard reset from the system. I delete user files and reinstall it.
4G and 3G came back. Now it is connecting to 4G and can make phone calls. But the connection drops after 10 mins. I need to turn off mobile connection and reconnect it. It connects for few minutes or never.
I need to restart the device and getting 4G or 3G connection for a while again.
When it connects to 4G or 3G, if it is stable connection, I can make phone call too and does not receive not registered on network error.
Should I install Stock Rom again? or try to play with some config files?
Do you have any idea?
no idea?
is there anyone has nv_data files in EFS folder? I think mine is missing.

no help?
do you have any idea to have stable 4G? Only LTE mode is not stable. I tried. Now GSM/WCDMA/LTE mode is running but, LTE is dropping very often. I get stable connection with other Samsung Device.
as i see, there is no help. I am changing to T835 256gb LTE version.
