Hey everyone, I just bought the nexus 5 and I'm loving it.
I have one problem with the keyboard, on some apps it won't show the correction bar or auto correct my mistake.
Does anyone else have this problem?
And can I fix it cus I don't want to change keyboard.
Wanna know this too …

Hi guys I recently got my nexus s and started fooling around with it and I've noticed the very bottom of my screen doesnt respond to touch and while its a relatively minor problem it means I often miss type words. I am on rooted stock but have tried apex with matrix.

Restore your stock back up and see what happens. If it still happens, return your phone.

Just Flash It !!!
There is a touchscreen tester built into ICS Developer options. If there is no response at all after a quick test, try going back to gingerbread or something along those lines, with a full wipe in between. If there is still no response it's most likely a hardware issue. You'll have to either live with it or give samsung a ring (or possibly replace the entire screen and try your luck).
Same issue with gb and I've read about these problems before so I'm not the only one

any follow-up to this? what did it turn out to be?
this happened to me intermittently, recently. however, it seems to be a permanent thing now...
It can happen if you are not using original charger. Or touch dies. It could be kernel related too, but if you are on stock one and got this.. I would say it needs repair.

Hi guys,
Anyone else facing this issue? While charging my Nexus become slower and its kinda annoying. Main reason why its annoying is because its slower it often disable/enable some command from quick toggles while I am pulling down notification bar.
Try different cable is the solution given in all the other threads

Hello everyone, is there a dock that works with the Nexus 5 but sits in landscape? I see a couple third party docks that hold it up in portrait, and of coarse the magnetic wireless charging docks, but no landscape.

Well nope. I seriously believe there is no such thing at this point. Pretty sad.
Its really hitting me now that I have really been looking, that there is literally no accessories beyond simple basics made for the Nexus 5. What is the deal with that? Nothing. It's pretty crazy. I see all these other devices with insane accessories for every imaginable situation and am in shock. And then go to look for the same for the Nexus 5 and sure enough. Nothing.
Seems like a popular enough phone, i don't understand.

The orb that was released with the Nexus 4 works just fine in landscape. I use it every night with my Nexus 5.
Hey guys
First of all I want to me clear that my Nexus is stock, never been modded.
The issue is that youtube seems to be running in the background, even when I close it. Every night before bedtime I watch some youtube and i noticed that in the morning the app is still running. And if I don't reboot my Nexus i'll just keep running all day leaving me with a dead battery in 6houres..
I was wondering if anyone else had this issue? And so, what did you do with it?
Don't feel like wiping my entire Nexus so some advice could be usefull, if nothing helps i'll just keep rebooting every morning.
Actually in 'running' or in 'cached'?

Running, my Phone also gets warm after just sitting for 6 hours on my desk.
Wierd thing is that it doens't add up with the info i see in the battery info screen. There it says it ran for 2h, while my Phone was off the charger for 6-7h. That's why I don't understand my issue. I tried googeling my problem but all I seem to find nothing usefull.

Only one of the "speakers" on the bottom of the Nexus 5 is actually a speaker and the other is a microphone. If the device is held correctly then it shouldn't be a problem no matter which hand it is held in..
I know but i found this problem last night no idea what should i do or try btw phone is fully stock rom

Well, there is absolutely no reason why "call quality" would go bad when held with a specific hand. The only reason it would ever happen is if something were to obstruct (or similar) the microphone.
Everything perfect cleaned so gues its hardware problem with microphone

The metal plate on the right side of her head interferes with the signal.
She should use her left hand. Problem solved.
