Anyone else run into this issue? Glass is perfectly fine, the screen isn't shattered or broken in anyway, however there is a hairline fracture of the digitizer that is effecting the operation of my phone. I can't find out if anyone else has ran into this issue and was able to resolve it without paying for a warranty repair from LG.
Any idea how it happened?

Is your warranty still valid from ATT?
i bought in december...didmt even know it had one
There have been other posters that complained of the same thing.
I believe it is a faulty screen.
did att replace their phones?
Yes, if they were still covered because it was not physical damage.
Yesterday after I took out my touch pro from my pocket something happened. My touch screen didn't work. I don't know why.
I thought a flex/ribbon cable don't connect so I took apart it. Everything was right. I removed the Digitizer ( plastic over the T.screen) and tried out the screen it didn't work. I inserted the Digitizer back the phone feels my touch but isn't there where I touch.
So what can be wrong? Digitizer can cause this problem because of scratches?
I hope you understood my problem and you can help me. I am not an English man.
Uh, did you try screen alignment after replacing the digitizer? I can't imagine that it'll work still after taking off the digitizer and replacing it. I'd probably say best to just replace the entire display.
I tried screen alignment with a new rom. After that I had known
it is a hardware problem. But I don't know the touchscreen or the digitizer is wrong.
Hello guys,
I've been using DHD for quite a long time and I never experienced any problems with this phone until I noticed the digitizer is cracked. I just took the phone out of my pocket and realised that it doesn't react when I touch the screen - there is a small crack in the corner. I think this is just the digitizer because the image is displayed correctly and there are also no scratches on Gorilla Glass (i also used screen protector). I have not dropped the phone recently (neither hit it with a hammer) and I'm wondering if it is possible that the digitizer has a factory defect and what about the warranty in such a case because when I heard what is the cost of repair...
Any clues guys? This is very important...
I had a similar problem with my screen.
The upper part of my screen was devastated with pieces of glass coming out regularly.Yet,the touchscreen worked.
Your case is pretty weird.I think you should take it to HTC and try to persuade them that its a defect if you're sure you haven't damaged it!
GoodLuck :good:
Hi all. Does anyone have experience with ASUS support for cracked Gorilla glass? The LCD underneath is working fine, I've just got a crack running along the right side of the screen. No other signs of damage, though I can't rule out having knocked the side of the tablet onto something hard *sadface*
I'm interested in knowing whether ASUS ever repairs this under warranty, and if not, what kind of costs I may expect if it's just the glass replacement.
Thanks!

They are ridiculously expensive http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-Transf...gitizer-Glass-Panel-Replacement-/330988880887
I doubt asus will fix for free, it will be cheaper if you attempt it yourself.
Its a shame, i cracked my tf101s screen and refused to pay the price since its just a cut piece of glass treated in some chemicals....
All,
I know this is of my own doing but dropped the TF701 a few weeks ago. Looked like everything survived unscathed with the exception of the top right corner of the gorilla glass being cracked. But I spoke too soon!
For the last few weeks, the unit will be working fine and then all of a sudden I will get multiple horizontal lines across the screen and the unit locks up. I was wondering if anyone else out there has had a similar issue, and is it worth getting repair?
Not sure if this is due to the glass being cracked or is their something more serious with the innards...
Opinions welcome!

You are in the TF700 forum
Sounds like hardware damage to me - I'd get it replaced or repaired.
