so here are some secret codes guys....
formatting code: *2767*3855#
listn this is hard reset code as it will erase each nd evrything frm ur phn so guys take a backup first.... remembr this is nt gonna erase nything frm ur mem. card or ur sim....:-$
LCD test: *#0*# this wil mostly work for touch screen phones
for non-touchscreen phone kindly do this:
dial: *#0*# u wil c a black or some kind of other screen dont panic do this
1.for checking vibrator press key:5
2.for red screen colour check press key:1
3.for green colour check press key:2
4.for blue colour hav a look on key:3B-)
well if the phone supports sensors then u can press key:8
for camera check press:7
for sleepmode hav a look on key:*
for speaker press key 0.
nd yup hav a look on key 4nd key 6 fr checking dimming nd reciever respectivly.
gud nw i wanna say these keys may differ in QWERTY keypads phones.
now have a look on ur battery via code:*#0228#
u can see various things about ur battry...
now to view ur software version hav this combo:*#1234#
nd as u al guys are very well aware about the imei number... u can chrck it via *#06#
nyways....
wanna provide another info spcly for galaxy fit users....
try these combos on ur fit to gain some info about ur fit..
1.vol up+vol down+power:use it for checking ur kernel..
2.vol up+home/midle key+power button:this wil take u in ARM9 mode
3.vol up+vol down+home+power:fr emegency download mode
4.vol down+home/middle key+power button:lets u go to firmware download mode..
5.middle/home key+power button:can let u enter in recovery mode...

hey there..i need some serious help!!! my micromax a110 is not working:crying::crying: it so happened that my cell suddenly got switched off..n den when i tried to switch it on it didnt start. just the starting screen appears and then it goes dead..then again the starting screen appears and it goes dead:crying::crying::crying:..please help me!!!! someone??? anyone???

try getting into recovery (vol + or - and pwr) and make a full wipe. if it will not power on, try flashing a new firmware. make sure you got the right one!

if u have cwm added then try to go to recovery n flash any custom rom of C2
if not then
Flash Stock rom using Sp tool it will Solve ur problem

I think it's out of charge, just plug in the charger and see what happens..

1)Install Drivers.
2)Open SP tool
3)Select 'Android Scatter file' inside ROM folder.
4)Click Firmware->Upgrade Button.
5)Connect Phone{Switched off} to PC via USB Cable.
6If everythings right,Flashing will proceed..
7)Wait till It finishes..A green ring is displayed on completion..
8))Now Close SP tool..Remove Phone from PC..
9)Switch ON the phone...It is successfully Flashed...:laugh:

I also face same problem some time when I make Factory or DRM reset
Green Android Robo with rotating frame
Start again and again. No switch off .. No effect after remove battery..
Only 1 solution "Do flash with SP Tool"

Can't call after I do a factory reset..!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week my phone:laugh: rebooted again and again showing the "android robot" sign ...I submitted my phone to micromax service centre ..They told me that it will take around 15-20 days for the repair since its a motherboard problem...I kept it for 20 days...After the repair I used it for half of the day..When I came home I thought of clean installing new apps after doing a factory reset from the setting...After i did that I was able to use my phone perfectly normal...I installed quality games and useful apps from the appstore.....Then after sometime I noticed that I was not able to do any calls nor I recieved any calls,...The network sign status was perfect above and I went and showed it the next day again to the micromax centre ...They told me why I did a factory reset...?Also they told me nonsense :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: that if u do factory rest u r imei will get erased.They took my phone checked my imei number ...It showed invalid to them...They again put and gave me my imei number and warneed me not to reset my phone.... Now I have bought my phone back ...I want to simply do a clean install of stock jelly bean rom and dont want that Imei erasing problem...What should I do...??????

U can get ur imei no. Back...even I have faced the same Problem..just go into the engineering mode then in the connectivity column goto cds information and then to radio information and then phone 1--- type AT+EGMR=1,7,"" within the inverted comma put ur first imei no..and hit (send at command). And similarly in phone 2 type at+egmr=1,10"" and put your second imei no.and hit send at command ...then just reboot...it works...
U can find your imei no a the back where u put ur battery. With bar code the first is for phone 1 and below that for phone 2

i've one more problem bro.. that is even my phone is in debugging enabled mode my pc is showing me to put my phone in debugging mode. so could u do some help here kindly. & i want to root my phone& i've tried framaroot, z4root, z4 zte blade root, terminal emulator method, but no use, so pls help me to root my phone. to root it, it should be connected & detected by my pc with debugging enabled mode observed by my pc. so pls help me

Guess you are on jb 4.1.1. So in this case, bin4ry method and some others may not work.
Pls use THIS GUIDE TO ROOT YOUR PHONE.
It explains everything in detail.
But before trying the above,don't forget to install proper drivers,or nothing will happen(flashing won't start). Use THIS GUIDE TO INSTALL PROPER DRIVERS FOR CANVAS 2

Imei invalid after factory reset

I cant receive and make calls after I do factory reset of my phone ....Also I get Invalid Imei when I check by *#06#...I have to go to service centre again and again to put my imei number back after every factory reset......:crying::crying::crying::crying:..Kindly tell me what to do...I have a micromax a110 canvas 2 phone

Those Guys out there in MMX service centre are nut xD.Okay you got your imei wiped .Its actually due to change of ur mother board.not an problem.its easy to implant it again.find ur both imei number in the packaging box .note it down in a piece of paper.now go to engineer mod and select GPRS .Choose the first sim and enter the first imei there .click write imei ---> ok , click attached--->ok ,click detached---> okay
Now repeat this for the second sim and enter the second imei.reboot the phone. Now check ur imei You can now reset your phone even for 1000 times but you have to implant it again and again every time u flash a new rom or reset

engineer mode
hi bro ur advice is a little bit helpfull to me, but the thing is before i've changed my ''''engineer mode > debug utils > debug level to 'user mode'. so my question is whether it should be in user mode or engineer mode. i'm asking u bcoz i am able to get into gprs but i didn't get any sim1 or sim2 option like that to follow ur previous steps. so pls guide me more clearly bcoz i'm a new beee.
my phone is showing no emie:crying:.
even one more doubt bro. eventhough i put my phone in usb debugging mode when i connected it to computer it is showing pls put ur phone in debugging enabled mode:crying::crying:. so how to overcome this problem. i'm unable to connect to pc.

then in eng mod go to radio wave option and put imi no

the solution he has given is below
U can get ur imei no. Back...even I have faced the same Problem..just go into the engineering mode then in the connectivity column goto cds information and then to radio information and then phone 1--- type AT+EGMR=1,7,"" within the inverted comma put ur first imei no..and hit (send at command). hi fnd u can know ur imei very easily. it is just back of ur phone. remove d battery & u can have ur both imei no.s there.:laugh::laugh:

IMEI is quite easy to fix ! Use MTK Droid tools to write ur imei or S/N Write tool. There are many tutorials browse through for how to use this tool !
Flashing stock ROM through SP should solve imei. First select format in sp and then flash ROM through sp. Then after first boot take imei backup as mentioned in this thread. And replace it every time u face problem !

Reset IMEI of A110
Hey! I have got the same problem in my Canvas HD. What I do is:-
1. goto dialer and type *#*#3646633#*#*
2. Goto CDS information
3. Goto Radio
4. On the command bar, type AT+ EGMR, 1,7"YOUR IMEI"
5. And send command
If it says command sent, then good but if not, remove SIM and try again .
6. Reboot
Note: For SIM 1, the command is AT+ EGMR, 1,7"YOUR IMEI" but for SIM 2 it is, AT+ EGMR, 1,10"YOUR IMEI"

thing is tht i rooted my xperia c using frme root so tht i can put xperia z1 or z2 rom d problm im facing is when im rr-booting my phn in touch cwm mode its showing an error with android sign "no command". I need to take back up of my phn 1st n fr tht i installled mkt tool frm play n recovery.img

Install CWM (i.e. clockworkmod recovery) on your phone using this guide

Then in CWM you will find an option of "Backup and Restore">> In that option you will find "Backup">> Select this option and backup will be made
Backup of your phone will be made in the SD Card.

make sure that you install a ROM which is made for Xperia C as it has locked bootloader and will only install those ROMS

I would say that you use CWM... It is best recovery ever :good:
**Root your device (Link provided above)
**Download "recovery.img" (attached below) and then place it in your internal memory
**Install "MobileUncleTools" (attached below) and install it
**In MobileUncleTools go to "recovery update" and select the recovery.img
**Wait for some time and your device will automatically restart and CWM will be started
( if you are on 16.0.B.2.16 then you have to do this process 2-3 times, I don't know why this is happens)
If later you want to open recovery then use the method : press "power" + "volume down" until u boot into recovery

Installing ROMs, Rooting the device and unlocking the bootloader are considered under the rooting and hence void your warranty. After doing any of these you will not receive system updates from the Settings>>About Phone>>Software Update menu. But you can update your device using "Sony PC Companion" And apps will be updated from Google Play Store so it is no problem, you will receive updates for the apps installed.
And you may ask as many questions as you want there is no problem... This forum is made for this only :good:
