increase voice call with headset

hello folk!!!!
i've a little but very annoying problem with sound of my hd2...
I use my motorbike every day..and off course i need the headset to call my work colleagues...
I use a coocked rom by topix (1.5.2)..a very good rom very stable but...when i plug the headset, my volume..although setted maximum is too low to listen my incoming calls...
I installed htc audio booster..but it doesn't work (i don't know if i installed a not compatible version with hd2..when i start it the program screen is veeeery tiny, and if i receive an incoming call with fm radio started, i can hear both simultaneously with the low volume )
i uninstalled that and after i tried SRS WOWHD 1.5.1.0 .. i started and it tells me "there is no WOW HD driver loaded.the control panel will now exit"
Do you have any solutions for me??

now SRS WOWHD 1.5.1.0 works..(soft reset)but the volume with headsets is the same...

do no one have any idea??

[Q] Has anyone noticed this? Sound while on Phone call.

So starting in Android 2.3.5 and some 2.3.4 builds, there is no sound while on a phone call. What do I mean?
Say you're on the phone with somebody, or a company and they put you on hold. You go to play your own music... In 2.2-2.3.3 you were able to hear the player or youtube or any type of sound while on a phone call. But now on all builds 2.3.5 which is where android is heading, you cannot hear anything.
It may not be a big deal to some of you, but I used to use it A LOT. If I'm on the phone with a class mate I may have to do research on my phone at the same time. This may include audio etc. which cannot be heard because I'm on the phone. It could be as easy as using a 2.3.3 rom but lets face it, those roms aren't that great for our phones. You get no toggles and less developing is going on with those roms.
So my question to you guys is HOW DO I MAKE THE SOUND COME BACK? Is there anything I can push, edit or anything? I really miss this feature :/

[Q] Skype sound is very very weak..

Anybody have issue with Skype on Asus Transformer Prime 1.7 Final ?
Somehow for me the sound is very very very very very weak even I am using head phone also very weak.
But all other apps and music working normal it just the left and right speaker is not balanced but again is really weak....is it just for my TF or other people also experiencing the same problem ?

Thanks for replying but I already try to increase any volume I can found by using the side volume rocker or using docking volume up and also try to search skype option but cannot found any volume configuration.
Btw sorry again as I remember I only do wipe all when I install prime 1.6 and when I upgrade to prime 1.7 I just install it without wipe all is that gonna be an issue ?
I am thinking do wipe all and re install everything from scratch if nobody having the same issue with me ^_^.

ok In progress wipe all and re install everything again, if it fix my problem will update here again ^_^
ok finish wipe all data and also wipe cache partition ( thats the only wipe option I can found on recovery ) and after that.....still the same issue I already set all volume to max and yet my skype voice call is still whispering T_T but all other apps and music and other games sounds is loud and normal T_T.

T_T just to ask again is there anybody out there using their Transformer for skype voice call and their sound is good loud n clear ? because mine is really whispering I dont even can hear the call tone if my ear distance to transformer more than 5 cm .......

You can use gtalk or fring, i have the same problem with skype but on the other two platforms, it's all ok, good sound, good quality.

finally thats the answer i am waiting, so my TF is normal its skype issue.

I'm also using Prime and have the same issue with sound. The sound output with skype is just extremely low! I also have a kernel with voodoo support and it didn't help.
Did anyone find a solution for this issue?

volume control + from the market seemed to do the trick for me.

This solved my problem!
I saw that I had the volume for calling muted and the ring volume was also on leve 1 or 2.

Static sound after playing music on speakers

After playing music on speakers, and sometimes after disconnecting the headphones, I can hear a static sound coming out from the speakers. I don't know if it's a dsp manager problem or just a rom problem. Somebody with same problem? It's normal this sound to be heared for some seconds after stopping music, but not all day.
This drinks the battery very very fast.
I've kph with cranium rom.

I'm using the xxkph + cranium ROM 3.1(fix). Until now, i did not face such problem that you have. Been playing music through speakers and headphones, playing videos. No static sound. Afraid you left some steps before fully installing the custom room or cf-root.

Are you sure? Do you use the dsp manager?
Play some music on your speakers and when pausing it put your ear very close te the speaker and tell me if you don't hear it please.

I moved from froyo to xxkpm based custom rom & had this problem,found the source of the problem to be dsp manager so removed it & sound was gone. It sounded like ta, tich, ta....ta..tich. It was annoying when sitting in silent area, 1st noticed while sleeping something was making sound but could not figure out what next day I found out that speaker remains ON even when phone is not in use & it makes this funny sound.
I will flash back stock rom & test if this is indeed a problem with stock rom or custom rom.

Yes, I have the same sound. I will try removing DSP Manager. What a shame, DSP Manager is quite good, do anybody know something like it? I have PowerAMP but it has just a equalizer.

[Q] Speaker Phone has stopped working

Im not sure what happened, but my speaker phone has stopped working. I nolonger can hear ringtones or listen to music from it. Im not sure if I might of deleted the sound file for it. Im currently running CM7 v10 and I have sound enabled etc. Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated.

its a known bug in cm7 roms. you have to reboot to fix it. or, go into cm settings, sounds, and apply play notifications in all of the options.
