I gave this a shot. The game concept was interesting and pretty clever, I felt the demo was a little short, just that one level. I'd be interesting in learning if you ever vary up the gameplay with other elements.
Thanks for your input. The arenas are designed to be played more than once. Every time you play the game will be slightly different, especially on the bigger arenas. Also when you choose a Computer as a starting player the game is more challenging.
I am planning on adding a tournament option however. The player would have to win a game to advance to the next stage. For now, it is possible to practice on any of the 16 arenas available (once you get a full version). One other thing I want to add is the option to play with other players online. For this to happen I need more users however Then, a real tournaments can be organized, maybe even with prizes.
What "other elements" do you have in mind? I am open to suggestions.
It’s not uncommon for games to have the ability to jump in them, Ketchapps latest game “Triple Jump” takes full advantage of the jump feature and is completely built around the objective of jumping over things.
In the game you play as a ball and you have to avoid spikes that are coming at you, the isometric view provides the player with a bit of a challenge, trying to predict when to jump and how much to jump can be quite challenging. Like most Ketchapp games your objective is pretty simple, just try to last as long as possible. The challenging aspect makes it quite addictive as you try to beat your last highscore.
Like the name implies you are able to perform a triple jump by tapping on the screen three times. You are also able to perform a single jump and a double jump, the type of jump that you need to use varies on the situation.
Overall the game is pretty much how you would expect it to be, the jumping works, the different obstacles and isometric view provide you with a bit of a challenge and mastering the game takes a bit of patience and a lot of time.
If you like ketchapp games you’ll probably like this game. It’s available for both Android and iOS and is free in the app store. Personally I think it’s a pretty good game when you’ve only got a few minutes and are looking to entertain yourself. What do you guys think about the game?

A variety of randomly generated equipment and enemies to use them on. I've been building this game for the past 18 months mostly in the middle of the night and while I don't think this will achieve my goal of being able to work game dev full time, it's a step in that direction. I hope people enjoy this enough that my next project has a bit of a built in audience instead of where I am at now (game released, trying to spot some fireworks/excitement, it's very quiet and not even a hollywood slow motion explosion to speak of).

The most important thing anyone might want to know is that the game is intended to be fun to play, I followed what I consider the Hill Climb Racing model just because that's pretty much been my favorite mobile game and it's the business model I feel best about as a gamer.
I'd love any feedback anyone wants to give, if enough people like the game and it takes off I'd want to expand the missions, equipment, enemies, ships, etc, as well as add in coop multiplayer via wifi and blue tooth (cross platform with iOS and desktop) , but right now I'm not expecting that to happen.

To be honest - the most difficult moment in the game is just the same to create a unique gameplay. Also an important feature of a mobile game is the mobility itself. Therefore, a game should not punish a player for his desire to drink tea or if it's time to leave the train in the subway. Now I understand why the mobile gaming market is flooded with clones, but it only means that the objectives set by me are much higher than most developer’s goals. My dream - creating games that everyone will want to play just because they had never seen this before. And I hope that the "Running Ball" will be the first step on this path.
The essence of the game is simple: there is a ball and in its way are the walls with gates. When a player doesn’t touch the screen, the ball flies safely from one edge to the other, but when he presses, the ball rushes forward and o-ho-ho if its path would be the wall. Levels are basically races, races with opponents and races with time! Its easy in beginning but gets on harder. How many levels can you pass?
Multiplayer, you race against another player! Use WASD or Arrow keys to move!

Cool game and concept. The 10 levels available are each cool and unique. Level 10 is my favourite, its hard but good. The graphics are suprisingly okay besides some minor visual buds like tracks not being connected correctly or overlapping each other and flimmering. Really waiting for new levels. With enough time this has a lot of potential.
