[Q] Help: 1020 is STUCK after Hard Reset - Nokia Lumia 1020

Hi,
I have a 1020 that I did a hard reset on. Now it's stuck in the reset mode (gears are turning) and it wont finish the reset. I left it plugged in to see if it would reset itself back to the factory defaults. After 48 hours, it still shows the gears turning and won't finish the reset.
Does anyone have a similar problem?
Can you help fix it?
I tried redoing a hard and soft reset and get the exact same problem. It seems to be stuck in a continuous loop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First you might want to try the following fix. If you are luck that is all you need.
http://www.nokia.com/in-en/support/product/lumia1020/faq/?action=singleTopic&topic=FA141347
If that does not work, ask your carrier to make sure you SIM is still registered with them as that can prevent boot. That's according to my experience with AT&T support. They said during boot it checks for an active subscription and sometimes the Nokia phones get stuck if the registration is invalid. They might also see if the phone activated on their network and they can try to push an OS update.
If that doesn't work, there is a good chance you have some sort of hardware failure. I just had 920 fail that way as well as a family member's Lumia do the same. Both ended up needing to be replaced.

HP Ipaq h6315 Will not go into the OS - Freezes on bootup!

Hey guys!
While working on my PPC this weekend, I noticed that the system froze while just trying to open NYDITOT Virtual Display.
I tried doing a soft reset and after doing so the system freezes at the "Welcome to T-Mobile" bootup screen and it does not go into the OS (windows Mobile 2003 "Non-SE")
I tried pushing the soft reset button with the device OFF, without the battery, without the sim card, and nothing seems to work.
I cant even re-load the original ROM as Active Synch doesnt see the device due that I dont get into the OS.
Now luckely for me, T-mobile advised that i only had a 3 month warranty with them, which of course "expired" so i was hoping someone could suggest something that might help me resolve this problem.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

TC camara problem

Hi,
I tried to search the forum, I googled around, but I seem to be the only one with this problem:
sometimes (I can't specify it anymore, there is not routine in this problem!) when I open my camera the screen stays black, as if the camara was covered with something (which it isn't, of course!)
I already hard resetted my Crouise, problem was fixed for like 2 weeks, but today, problem turned up again.
Soft reset does not help... any ideas except throwing it at some hard wall?
Edit: Phone is really slow when this problem come up and the only way to leave camera mode is to press the red phone button or do a soft reset
Sounds quite bad, may be a hardware fault...
One hard reset temporarily solved the problem, if you did the hard reset again would it again solve the problem (for a while?). Backup all your files and give it a try.
If not then it may be a hardware problem, in that case I would recommend you send it back to HTC or O2.
If it temporarily solves the problem then it is probably a software issue - I would recommend you try flashing a new ROM, or flash the original ROM.
Just a suggestion...
I did a hard reset again today, backing up my Files via Spite Backup, but after reseting, Camera still isn't working...
Recovering the backuped files didn't help either...
F**k, I really don't want to sent the phone in, because I only have this one, and I sure it's gonna take some weeks to get a replacement...
Is there any way of reinstalling the camera...*hoping for hope*
I have exactly the same problem and i haven't find annything to fix this.
Need some help please
I've got the same problem, I have only find (for my case) some situations...
If you turn on the pda, it works.
if you wait for a while, it works again.
if you wait for some hours, it stop working...
then, if you regular turn off and on the pda, is not secure that it works.
If you soft-reset, it works.
If you keep the pda connected via usb or ac cable, it works everytime (I'm testing it now and it's from this morning that the cam works perfectly).
So I think is a only software problem, exactly I think is apmd error.
Power saving shut down cam device, and when you click camera.exe, the os is not so quickly to return on the device...
I ask to the experts (not me, obviously) if it can be a possibility...
Also can I set, only for cam device, the power saving disabled? So I can test my consideration better?
Thanks

Hi,
You could try to connect your phone to your PC as an external HD and do a recovery with some app like Recuva

[Q] Need help on my Nexus 7 (boot loop & need help recovering music/pictures UROOTED)

[Q] Need help on my Nexus 7 (boot loop & need help recovering music/pictures UROOTED)
Okay so heres the story, i let my Nexus 7 run out of battery completely so once i had my charger i connected it and let it charge fully (took around 4 hours) i then tried turning it on regularly, it got through the "Google" logo and past the "Nexus" logo i thought all was well and dandy but then about 10 seconds later it restarted out of nowhere. It kept doing this over and over so i simply went to safe mode and turned it off. preferably i would like to find a way to fix the issue and have my nexus 7 running back to normal or worse case scenerio i would have to factory reset itr in which case i really want to save my music and pictures Ive looked online and tried everything (going to safe mode by pressing volume down and power button and messing around with the options like restarting bootloader and going into recover mode and clearing system cache but no help. and even diconnecting the actual battery cable from inside and reconnecting it). Then i researched more and got an idea of downloading a rootkit but i realized its no use to me b/c i never enabled debugging or developer options :/ Can anyone help me to either A.) find a solution that wont cause me to factory reset my device or B.) If i do have to factory reset my device help me find a way to backup my music/pictures (again i never enabled developer options or enabled usb debugging). Any help is greatly and tremendously appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael

Phone restarting after unlocking network

My phone was network locked, so I gave it to a technician to help me unlock it. The problem is now my phone restarts (I can use it, open apps ...) just after a few minutes which makes it unusable. I probably should do a factory reset but I still have some precious data on my phone that I don't wanna lose. Since the phone keeps restarting, I don't know how to copy said data before performing the factory reset. Another info that might be useful, my micro-usb port isn't working, which makes my problem worse. Can anybody help me with this?
If you have a second hand phone, try transferring all the data needed via Smartswitch
