[Q] Help with wallpaper - Asus Transformer TF700

I've been looking for some HD wallpaper for my tf 700 and cannot for the life of me find something i don't have to crop.
the wallbase app is great for a selection but when i try to set the wallpaper from the app itself its just a black screen for the wallpper then eventually goes back to the default asus.
if i save the picture from the app and try to set it as a wall paper from the gallery it just crops out over 50% of the image and is really unusable.
any help or tips?

Thanks, that works great when you get the right resolution!

I use an app called image 2 wallpaper on the play store. It takes your image and adds black boarders to the top and bottom to create a 1080x1080 resolution image (actually it matches the exact screen size but I can't remember what that is). Which means you get a nice high res image mapped 1:1 to your screen with no cropping. Only downside is that if you turn your tab to portrait you get the black bars. But hey you can't have it all I guess. Simply save the file and set it as wallpaperin the normal way.

[Q] how to set full screen wallpaper on my Samsung OmniaPro B7320?

I've taken so many nice photos of my lovely daughter with this phone, but I still don't know how to set full screen wallpaper for this. Any help or suggestion, please? Thanks!
By the way, can anyone show me names of some useful softwares to make our own home screens for this phone? The default home screens are very nice but it'll be much better if we can make ourselves, right? Once again, thank you!

when all pictures are trying to change as wallpaper that pictures are showing in full screen mode, did not understand your exact problems
if you need to see only the picture in your home screen.......
Just go to Settings+Display+Homescreen+choose Samsung Simple in home screen layout section
Have no any more good software for making the home screen more better, i prefer the default layout's is better for it....
I will suggest only one layout better for smart phones because i tried it and i liked this one....
It's - SBSHReleasesFacade2.0

Night Backgrounds for alarms, anyone got a good one?

GAlarm has a great background when the alarm is up. Sadly, it is not available. So I was wondering if anyone had any backgrounds they currently use as the backdrop for their alarm. My phone background is way too busy, and a black screen is so boring.
How about this one?

Shameless bumping I am a fan of phone backgrounds in general.
Are you more concerned with the image you fall asleep too, or the one you wake up too? If that makes sense...I realize it'll be that same pic, it's all about the mood, I guess.
I found a nice little app called "lightning bug" that is a nice sleep enhancement device,
Customizable backrounds, ambient sounds etc..

My images were 640x480. However, I did just find one of them on the following page and it has some higher resolutions:

What is the recommended resolution for a captivate wallpaper?
All Galaxy S/Captivate (others like Nexus 1/S, and more) should use 960x800 wallpapers for best results.

Is there a way to not crop wallpaper?

Is there any way to not crop a wallpaper and be able to get the whole picture on one screen so I don't have to scroll three pages to see the whole picture. If anyone knows how to do that, would you be able to make this wallpaper so it will fit on the first screen.

For it to fit on one screen it would have to be like this, with Wallpaper scrolling disabled in your Launcher:
Does that say Satanism?

Like this..?
I don't really get it though as you won't see the sides with scrolling disabled. How about this with Wallpaper scrolling Enabled?
Yes thank you. Now I can just resize the picture to lay over the middle one and know not to go over the black.

What Launcher are you using? If it's a custom one, all you need to do is set the wallpaper and disable wallpaper scrolling in the launcher settings.

set it with the ASUS Live Scenes
I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ridgelineapps.simpleimagewallpaper. To each his own, but I like the options and fluidity.

Nice thanks dude it works
Does this happen on all launchers? I found in nova launcher if you keep screen orientation to default this will not happen. I believe this also happens in apex launcher after booting up the tablet and a simple solution was to rotate the screen.
I would say a universal solution for this with out using 3rd party apps would be to play with orientation settings for launcher and/or rotating the screen

It happens if you just set a static picture. If you use the ASUS MY FRAME in live wallpapers then it sets and changes with rotation perfectly.

Gradient Banding Problem

This image looks very smooth on my laptop screen using Chrome. However, Chrome on my Z3 shows very bad banding. And not only Chrome, but also when I open this photo with Album app.
Do you see this problem on your Z3? Sorry that I cannot post the image directly.

This is strange since Z3 screen has 16 million color, not the cheap old 16 bit one. Could it be the OS issue?

That image shows banding on my $2000 screen using chrome, maybe my resolution is too high. It looks no different and any browsers I use, even on a dell ultra sharp 1080p screen
Looks about the same as above on my phone using Chrome.
Do a service test on your phone to check the display is displaying well.
Open your phone dialer then enter the following with the keypad, *#*#7378423#*#* then click on service tests, then Display. If you click on the screen it will switch to the next display test.
Also supply a screen shot so people can see what you are talking about, hold the power button down, then select Take screenshot. Attached the screenshot of how this looks on my phone.
