"Not working" is a bit rought, since they're properly start with Gallery, G+ photo app or VLC, but all three apps are crashing after a while. Could anyone confirm this?
What about those who did a hard reset, to fix the APK install error, are you able to watch streams without any crashes?

Picked up the N5 yesterday. Installed Mx Video thinking that everything would work as it did with my two previous EVOs and s3. I would choose MX as the default for video streaming and it would work throughout every website, all local media, etc. Now when I stream through various sites, the default video player or chrome wants to play video. Cleared defaults, cleared data and cache for MX, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache/dalvik, fixed permissions. Chrome or the default video still wants to take over.
Any ideas?
I think there's a setting buried deep in MX Player's settings area that pertains to default apps for local and network streaming. Check those out.
Went through every option. Couldn't find said option :\
Just set it as the default when you open up a file. It can't be that hard... there are what, like 3 or 4 common video file extensions?
This is what I thought too. Not all apps(chrome) make you pick default. Sometimes they automatically just play in chrome
Hey guys,
I'm on Cyanogenmod 11S, 2.15 and I'm having issues uploading videos in Instagram. It always fails. I've tried everything in my knowledge:
clearing data/cache of instagram, reinstalling instagram, clearing data/cache of my ROM, installing a new ROM, using another WIFI. I tried uploading both pre-recorded videos and videos recorded with the Instagram app. With pre-recorded videos, I tried a variety of different formats, different quality, different resolutions, and nothing works.
I tried using logcat to try to figure out where the hell this goes wrong, and I just can't get it to work for some reason.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Suddenly, Youtube videos that are linked on FB or sites within Chrome won't load for me. There's no error message. When I hit play, it starts to buffer but doesn't actually play or load the video.
The YouTube app itself works fine. I have no idea what would make this change suddenly. Anyone have any fixes?
TIA.
I'm having this same issue on the s7 edge, has anyone found a fix.
When trying to play any video on google play videos, I keep receiving an error fetch 1. I tried all the basic troubleshoot cleared cache, reinstalled updates and even did a factor wipe. Nothing helped. I also confirmed that the videos can play on other android devices I have.
I can play these videos through youtube though.
I am stock and not rooted.
Wondering if anyone else is seeing this?
I will attach the error I am getting.
Bump
I can stream fine and dl and play okay
Hi,
Am using MX Player on an android box with OS 7.12, 3GB ram heaps of rom available. Was working fine up until recently.
I get about 10 minutes of video before a freeze. After backing out of the app with a right click I usually get a crash. Doesn't matter if I have the video on an external drive or stream something, same result. Clearing data on the app seems to let the video play a little longer until the crash, then it just repeats. I can see the errors in the log but I have no idea what do do with it.
I'd really prefer not to have to clean install. Any ideas?
