Is there anybody that had problems with whatsapp, viber notifications? As since i got my moto g i encounter delays in receving notifications with whatsapp when i'm on wifi or data connection and i dont't know how to solve this problem. I want to mention that wifi is set on "always on" when on stand-by.
Thanks

I've had my Sony Smartwatch for a week and for some reason earlier today it stopped receiving notifications. My partner has one also and I checked my settings against hers and all is correct.
It connects to Bluetooth and the clock works, fine and it stays connected.
I've tried doing a reset but it still doesn't work.
Short of completely uninstalling everything I don't know what else to do.
Has this happened to anybody else?

are you using a specific app for deliver the notifications?
Have you installed some app to controll permissions, internet conections or something like that?
I haven't got a dedicated notifier. I just have Facebook and Twitter, as I've said it was all working fine up until yesterday.

What about the second question?
Have you checked that you still are logined on that services? Also have you checked the settings of that plugins? There you can set what kind of notifications to receive.

Oh I forget to tell you, I have experienced something similar in the past with the music player widget (when I don't use walkman) sometimes the widget stopped working and I used to uninstall it and reinstall it again to get properly working again.

I have the same Problem with the Music Application. Only a hard Reset helps... But that can't be the solution! I reinstalled it many times, but the Problem is not solved.

I bought 2 of these phones one for a friend and one for my mum. After noticing several times while messaging my friend on whatsapp that only 1 tick would appear usually for between 30 seconds to a minute or 2, i suspected there could be some issue going on with the wifi. After testing my mothers phone I can confirm there is an intermittent problem where the phone doesn't receive a notification as soon as it's sent. There's a lag anywhere between 30 seconds and a couple of minutes.
I've tested back and forth with a bunch of other phones on the same network and they suffer no issues at all, always instant notifications. I've also messed with every possible setting in the advanced Wifi options, done restarts, tried different channel for my router etc, the lag is there at least 50% of the time.
I should point out this lag is only there when the phones screen is off and in sleep mode. Once the power button is pressed to wake all delayed messages are instantly received. I've also tested and get the same problem with hangouts so it's not a whatsapp issue. I also don't think it's a router issue as my other phones are perfect and my friend is in a different house with completely different router and has the exact thing happening.
Is this a known problem and if so is there any way to solve it? Is there an updated radio that can be downloaded and flashed to the phone without rooting, or do we just have to hope a future update will solve this small but annoying issue?
Thanks.
Is no one experiencing anything similar?
I had this problem since i got my first moto g. Now I have two with the same problem and a friend of mine aswell. All other notifications (email, tapatalk) are working great. I'm having problema only with mess apps like whatsapp, viber, line.

I'm hoping it's just a radio firmware problem as the messages are instant as long as the screen is on. I've not tested much on mobile data so it could be affecting both but right now I'm thinking it's a WiFi problem when then phone is sleeping (screen off). The messages always get through though eventually after a minute or two. It's almost like the phone only enables WiFi data for a few seconds every minute to check for notifications, like a battery saving feature. Whatever it is I don't like it, hopefully something that can be fixed in an update or by flashing a new radio.
Yeah, with Whatsapp on Wifi I have some lags when sending or receiving messages, but I see that is my wifi network, my neighbor's wifi can connect fast and I have no problems with Whatsapp and is fast using cellular data...
hello Guys,
i have a nexus 5 wit paranoid 4.3 beta 6 and franco kernel r50 and i would like to use my bluetooth headeset while driving but it seems pretty hard to make it working on android devices....
the first thing i would like to know if it's possible to call a contact using voice recogniction if you don't have internet connection. ( i'm in italy and my provider is h3g. h3g somethimes swithes to TIM and you can't connet to internet while in roaming mode ). I've downloaded the offline recogniction pack for the italian language but it seems it doesn't work so...does it work in english? or..is there another app that i can use to make calls?
the second thing is a known bug. if my deviced is locked i can't activate google search using my headset. I get a grey screen with the word "initialization..." and i have to manually unlock the device and activate google search to make a call. This is really annoying and i'm very surprised it hasn't been fixed yet by google...is there an xsposed module, app, fix for this issue?
thank you in advance,
Dario

I have the problem that suddenly the microphone only works hands-free, does not work in Google now, no hands-free phone call, Skype without a handsfree

Yeah I've had that happen to both One's I've purchased. First time, microphone wasn't out completely, but was very muffled and had to use hands-free. I was able to fix it just by completely wiping the cache and reset the phone. Second time, the microphone was out completely and a wipe/reset did not fix it. I had to send it in to a factory repair center, where they said all they did was reinstall the OS. It has to be something with the security updates and the microphone.
Hi,
I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, and since I received my phone I'm experiencing some trouble with network (LTE/WIFI) by that I mean that sometimes, when I do a thing that require internet, nothing happens, like it's loading forever, no data used (icon in the taskbar that says like "50Ko/s"). and when I close/stop the request, then retry, sometimes it works, have you any idea about that ?
Thanks alot!
Have same problem. When i lost my signal network sometimes all connections is stop working even i have icon of network.

Had the same thing. Seemed to have cured it by going to SIM toolkit and selecting HOME.
Happened after the last update I received.
I think it's a problem with Android 8.0 and 8.1.
Same problem with nexus 6p with Android 8.1 and with the Mi Mix 2S Android 8.0/MIUI10.
Sometimes, you need to enable and disable the plane mod to reboot network.
I have an Issue with WiFi not turning on, I enable it and imediately turns off. I have tried airplane mode on/off but only rebooting the phone solves the issue.
Any suggestions on how to address this, is this happening to others?
Currently running on MIUI 10.0.4.0 (as far as I can tell this is already Android P)
